   Gregory 3:13 – Floyd was in very poor health with heart disease. The amount of fentanyl in his blood was fatal. He said he couldn’t breathe before the cops did anything to him.
   Also – did the cops have narcan to administer to Floyd? Certainly the EMTs did but it was probably too late by then.
   The cops may of been guilty of poor judgement, but they certainly didn’t murder Floyd.
   By the time Floyd was dying, the cops were now distracted by the ugly situation with the crowd.

   That wasn’t established at the trial, the amount was described as 11ng/ml (nanograms per milliter)

   Neither the cops or the EMTs were asked about narcan at the trial. How do you know to any certainty if the EMTs even had it with them on that day?

   I for one am glad that whenever Punchy takes a break, his tag-team duo stepping right on up. Then Punchy gives them a break….especially at those times when Punchy does a faceplant two consecutive times in a row. Pivoting from one to the other does not work. Besides, Punch is loosing his fastball and curveball and gets only 2 out of 6 right lately.
   I hope he hasn’t caught his death of cold.

    My next door neighbors were both EMTs until just recently and now the husband is an EMT/fireman. My neighbor across the street is an EMT/fireman. They have had to carry and use narcan for years. Maybe the crew that showed up for Floyd didn’t have any, but that would be pretty strange.

    Ask anyone who is trained to use Narcan – no pulse, no pulmonary function – it’s too late.
    Floyd – by his own admission – took an overdose of drugs to hide them when the cops showed up. The cops showed up because he passed a fake bill. Since the cops aren’t medics and they don’t have a crystal ball, they dealt with Floyd the same way they deal with people on drugs every day. They tried to get him into the patrol car to drive to the hospital but Floyd wanted out and the the cops called for an ambulance. This was a tragedy in a lot of ways but the cops had no intention of trying to kill Floyd.
    They were white/white adjacent and Floyd was black.
    Even though the DA was very careful to never bring a single shred of evidence to the trial that there was any racial animosity, that angle hung over the whole situation like a thick fog. If Floyd had been white, this would have never made it beyond page 25 in the local news.
    The mobs were howling for blood and the justice system decided to sacrifice the cops. Can you imagine the violence and bloodshed if they had acquitted Chauvin?
    They arrested the cops almost immediately and the mobs still went berserk.

    Look up fentanyl dui’s, and the wide range they can be.
    From 2014-2019 they were between .1 and 157 ng/ml in living drivers with the average between 2.0 and 16 ng/ml.
    11 isn’t an automatic fatal od in a regular user.

    I’m familiar with that shooting, have yet to ever hear any evidence the shooter was actually involved in BLM or even attending the protests.
    Video just has him looting and shooting.
    Lots of non BLM types of people showed up for the demonstrations that got out of hand. Looters, proud boy types, tiki torch whites, boogaloo boys used the demonstrations to try to incite civil war. ( one of their goals)
    A boogaloo was convicted of shooting up a police station in either Washington or Oregon, after yelling “justice for George Floyd” or similar.
    The poor guy that got shot by the punk in St Louis was not an active duty police officer. He retired in 2007. He was 77 years old.
    So, still searching for those elusive police officers killed by BLM.

    Well, that is a problem. When the computer repair guy with whom Hunter Biden signed for his laptop with his ID in his handwriting….and left it there for many moons, the computer guy called the FBI. The FBI seized Hunter’s laptop from the repair shop and that is where the trail ended. In FBI custody, end of story.
    The FBI did have to come out and say it was indeed Hunter’s authentic laptop, but that’s all she has written. However, certain files have been read and circulated by those who are in a position to read them and even they are quite careful to keep it general to not reveal any sources. They all say, “sick shit, Maynard.” There is testimony by Hunter’s business partners, texts Hunter sent, an $85,000 check written from a ranking Chinese Communist Party member’s bank direct to Hunters bank. There is no arguing with a receipt. Went from CCP Bank to Hunter & Co’s account. It’s kinda like argue with a bank deposit from a high ranking CCP official. Just saying.
    Ruddy, who now has been exonerated for any wrong doing (except for following the money in Ukraine and through the Ukraine Parliament tried to give the FBI a copy of Hunter’s laptop, but the FBI refused to take it. They did not want to touch that baby with a ten foot stolen dick. They seized all of Rudy’s stuff, even his business cell phones with all his connections and his personal cell phone and his computers and backup hard drives and everything…but they did not want to take a copy of Hunter’s laptop drive. Odd.
    Stuff is leaking out. Stuff is being pried out slowly through FOIA and testimony.

    You mean listen to it again?
    “Bebarta said he concluded that Floyd “died from a lack of oxygen to his brain” and that he had suffocated because his airway had been closed off.”
    I have seen many videos and still shots of Chauvin’s knee on the side of Floyd’s neck and Floyd was breathing and talking. Floyd was in distress and complaining he couldn’t breathe before the cops did anything to him. Floyd admitted: “I took too many drugs”.
    There was zero evidence of racial animus or that the police wanted to kill Floyd.
    I will stand by my opinion that if Floyd was white, there would have been no news of this event beyond the back pages of the local paper.

    Agreed – the carotid carries blood to the brain. And that was never considered as the problem.
    Stupidity is bad in law enforcement for sure, but it’s not murder – and yes there were thousands ready to really go to town all over the country if the verdict was anything other than murder.
    One lawyer suggested a charge of “callous indifference” as proper. Not sure if that is something the DA could have charged him with but it sounds like negligent homicide which might have been appropriate.
    The cops got a raw deal, but what’s worse is what our nation ends up with in the way of law enforcement in the large cities. More crime. Less good guys that would even consider being a cop and a lop-sided justice system operated on skin color.

    I’d just like to thank the publishers and staff at your local fish wrap (no pun intended…well maybe little one) for making The Union so dull that I don’t waste any more time there. Before they had the bleatings of the Usual Suspects….the Howells, Richard. The Cookes, Cheryl. All trying to out do the other with their progressive piety. That was always good for a laugh. Then Don Rogers got tired of moderating comments, so that went away and I got some of my day back. Now it’s just ….well….a tepid brochure for Nevada City! I think. The “Letters to the Editor”….I don’t even know if they still have that! Tom Durkins Bipolar follies….no idea! That guy with the white beard on the weekends….???? Hard white shoe guy from San Mateo I think….vapor.
    So this is great…instead of checking it daily now I’m down to weekly! I think I can make it monthly….after that I’ll probably forget about it entirely!
    Truly a great time to be alive!

    Anyway I started posting here because the Former Union Editor decided that his presence in the SacBee was somehow beneficial to its readership. Through Georges blog I informed him that it wasn’t (in retrospect I should have just let it continue as The Bee really turned to shit without any of his help). I did however over time find that the open air progressive circus that you call home was interesting. So in that sense your town really has become my circus and many of your neighbors are my monkeys.
    That’s why I care.

    He will probably get appointed to the ethics committee, oh wait, McCarthy wants to disband the ethics committee.
