   Part 2, negotiate with illegals?
   Context. The single adult male illegals are being removed from the 3 star hotel (which they trashed) and are being moved to the Mayor’s new shelter in Brooklyn to make room for illegal families. You know, kids, moms and dads. It’s for the children. Single illegals out to another shelter, illegal families with children in. But, nooo.
   Gotta feel sorry for the Mayor and our home grown homeless and destitute. You don’t see them trashing free food and demanding ping pong tables and $300/night rooms
   Americans last.

   I agree with the second and third. A ‘conservative’ party typically rotates around a return to past glories, imagined or not, and sometimes things change. OTOH, the claim of a ‘party of grievance’ shows a distinct lack of self-knowledge. People with grievances knock down statues, burn strip malls, firebomb courthouses, get rich on payoffs from society at large.
   Maybe it’s just best to view it as coalescing groups of self-interest, proto-nations. Everyone wants the world to suit their own likes, and cultures often follow appearance. It isn’t like the Romans liked having Jews and Celts running around their town not following the traditional folkways. In the former case, aggressively having just one god seemed like extremely bad manners.
   I’d say that the main mystery of the last century is how some people favor out-groups over in-groups, pushing the interests of others over your own people is a New Thing. Of course, any self respecting in-group will take advantage of the situation, they’d feel silly not doing so. The other mystery of widespread mental illness (Men in Dresses, the Homeless Industrial Complex, people screeching on Tik Tok) is so new that I can’t say that it will have legs. Maybe it’s just a lost generation or two.
