During one of your periodic bouts of pouting over how you wished to be properly addressed you provided a number of identifiers to which you said you would respond. One of those was “psul”.
Now at the time I thought it might be a typo but it’s none of my business what you call yourself so “psul” it is. If you’re more comfortable with “Punch” I can certainly accede to that request.

It is entertaining to see you dodge and weave when you don’t want to answer questions that will cause you embarrassment due to your stated political positions/affiliations. Almost as entertaining as that “Green Libertarian™” nonsense that we had to listen to for a decade.
But it’s fine and certainly not unexpected. Let us know if Denmark or Ireland thinks that million dollar apartments for the “homeless” is part of their plan if you feel like chatting.

Well….since you’ve “spend” a considerable amount of time there why don’t you enlighten us?
Why are there virtually no homeless people on the streets of Denmark and Ireland?

After the usual psul Emery shuck & jive you eventually responded…

    fishmouth
Why are there virtually no homeless people on the streets of Denmark and Ireland?
A major reason is both countries have psychiatric social workers on the streets much like police who spot people early on who have drug, alcohol or psychiatric problems and they immediately give them help and shelter. They do not let them become chronically homeless like we do here. They also give them shelter and good food and a healthy diet as well as counseling and medical help, They help them before they are too far gone like many of the homeless in our country. They also are given financial assistance and job training. You just don’t see homeless encampments in either country.

Which is all well and good but somewhere upthread you mentioned something to the effect, “who’s going to pay?” which struck me funny given the graft involved with homeless apartments that cost between 800K to a million per. I’m just not sure that we can do both and was wondering how Denmark and Ireland do it and if it’s in any way similar to the graft that’s going on in blue, Blue, BLUE California.
You just present yourself as such an expert I thought you might know or at least have an opinion. The link I provided was from a news source that I believe you approve of and demanded to see before you would continue the “reasonable discussion”. It has nothing directly to do with Denmark but again you are presenting Denmark as the model to emulate while simultaneously having nothing to say about the outrageous costs involved in the blue, Blue, BLUE state of California that you hold out as an exemplar.
I found this an interesting position for you to hold.

Truly the feel good article of the week……

“Nineteen months into his first term as president, Joe Biden appears to be the lamest of lame ducks. The rapidity and completeness of his political collapse is unprecedented in my long life as an observer of such things, and possibly in our history. It’s as if the death scene that wrapped up an elaborate plot happened 15 minutes into the movie. What on earth can we expect for next two hours? Similarly, with Biden disappearing into a tar pit of irrelevance, the next two-plus years until the 2024 presidential election present an uncertain and inscrutable aspect.
The array of disasters accumulated by Biden in less than two years is impressive: defeat and humiliation in Afghanistan; the outbreak of war in Europe; spiking inflation and energy costs; a sputtering economy; a resurgent pandemic; supply chain disruptions of essential goods like baby formula. The response to each crisis has followed a recurring pattern. Ignorance and denial come first. A few comic pratfalls later, the rhetoric turns to panicked scapegoating. The essential duty of government, which is fixing the situation, gets skipped altogether.
Such impotence is, in large part, a function of the astounding levels of unreality and policy incoherence that afflict decision-making in the administration. I defy anyone to explain how Biden believes U.S. interests are engaged in the Ukraine-Russia war, or what he thinks about the not-inconsequential matter of energy extraction and supply.
A sullen public has judged the president’s performance and found it wanting. According to one poll, a remarkable 71 percent say that he should not run for a second term. In the same poll, an equally remarkable 62 percent think that “Biden is too old to be President.” Biden’s popularity ranges between 36 and 41 percent—but he has been plummeting for months and has yet to touch bottom. He is perceived as a leader who does nothing well: His “approval on management of issues is weak across the board,” proclaims a recent Harvard/Harris poll. Adding horror to injury, Donald Trump, arch-fiend to the Democratic faithful, handily defeats Biden in many matchup polls (see here and here).
The numbers are devastating and almost certainly fatal. Furthermore, they reflect, in my opinion, a just assessment of President Biden. He was, in his prime, an empty suit, a hanger-on whose chief ambition for decades had been to cling to the top of the pyramid—and he is today diminished by the usual ravages of age. This means that, unlike Reagan or Truman, he can’t tap into some iron principle or a defiant character to save himself from catastrophe. Never much of a political force, Biden is now done.

    Fish @ 2:13 pm.
Sadly, a major difference between Joey Fingers and President Ronald Reagan (who was in decline towards the end of his second term), is Reagan was surrounded by a host great capable people in his administration who knew how to get things done.
Jim Baker? Highly capable man. In the supply chain crisis, Biden has Pete Buttijedge who disappeared from sight for 2-3 months at home to nurse his baby with man lactations.
Even Don Ragan whom Nancy did not like one bit, kept the ship on course. The comparison between the two administrations is beyond night and day. So, we are screwed, bigly.
As a footnote to history: The Lefties love to quote Reagan’s ‘City on the Hill’ speech.. What the evildoers fail to tell the reader is that even with dementia (which they proclaimed ceaselessly like someone telling you they are a vegan)….even with the onset of dementia and losing a step or two, Ronald Reagan save that famous speech. A most optimistic uplifting man. On the other hand, Joe Biden is incapable of reading ‘The City in the Hill’ from a teleprompter, no less give it….and we are early into his Presidency.
Now, if Joe Biden had one capable person surrounding him, then maybe we could rest easier.
    Built Back Bankrupt.
