[As RR has argued for some years now, we Americans are competing with our enemies to see who will be the first to destroy the historical United States of America. So far, we are winning. Thomas Sowell echoes this with his 3aug22 ‘The Point of No Return’ that opens with, “This is an election year. But the issues this year are not about Democrats and Republicans. The big issue is whether this nation has degenerated to a point of no return — a point where we risk destroying ourselves, before our enemies can destroy us.” gjr]

The former PM of Hungary that Punch quoted was a raunchy lying communist who hates the “right”. Heres a speech he made that he thought was in private:

I suspect our host has a soft spot for Hungarians who share a minority language grouping with his native tongue:

Barry, there are definitively racist white Americans in this country. You cannot deny that. My question to George would include those groups as “cohesive group of people”. So my question was do they have the right to build their own white only housing community and schools. Also would people of color have the right to do the same? That could indeed be extended to other ethnic groups as well as religious groups such as Mormons or Christians.

Barry. Hairy armpits? Well, maybe pass a law that hippy chicks have to braid their armpits if serving as a bridesmaid or speaking in public. Flies ruin wedding pics. Bride is free to do as she pleases.
But…but..,but ban manbuns. I can tolerate teenagers with their pants pulled down below their ass cracks. I can even keep quiet when a gangster wannabe goes rolling down the street blasting some rap song about Jo Mama is a crack hoe. I can tolerate a lot of things that I do do condone. But, when I get a gander of a man bun,it’s time to do some scalping. Those long unbraided uncombed armpit haired freaky females is close to where I draw the line, but not over the line. Gotta conserve water. We are in a three year drought.
Scalp all manbuns unless working in food prep or around dangerous machinery like punch presses or electric wringers doing laundry in the privacy of one’s abode. Manbuns are not to be worn in public. Gross. Disgusting. Do that crap and dress anyway you please behind closed doors.LikeLike

When I write something like “So you seem to have no problem with white only housing projects” I am only notating my observation. All that has to be done is say something like “I am opposed to white only housing projects”. Simple ‘
This was a topic up for discussion as a response to George stating and Barry agreeing with the concept that: “But it did posit that if some cohesive group of people did establish themselves someplace legally and without harming anyone else, would they then have a right to maintain those cohesive parameters that define their community?”

You know, the definition of a professional is one who gets paid for doing she/he/he she’s work. Like entertaining drunks in the bar car.
—————————
Here we go again with another Emmerrhoid Production of ‘let’s play hypothetical.’
Private white only housing? The operative word here is private. A private subdivision. No, our nation tolerates zero discrimination in housing. Against the law. If I ever rent out my private property humble abode and go off to wrinkle village, I am not free to rent to whites only. Maybe not to Portuguese unless they make it a house rule that the lady tenants have to wax their mustaches often, much like Nancy Pelosi.
Even the Swiss passed laws forbidding girls wearing burkas in the high school as well as all black burkas banned from the lakes and beaches. Gotta shown some respect for the culture of,their host country that generously let them in.
When in Switzerland, do as the Swiss do.
So, back to hypothetical scenarios. Do you know what this reminds me of. Glad you asked. It remains me of the chick reporter doing a story on homophobia in the region and could not get any traction. So, she drives out of town and hits the suburbs, still no lock. Then she drives farther out (about 60-70 miles) and decides to go visit a friend out there since she has driven this far and has struck out on her story.
The nice white female Lefty journalist stops at a pizza joint and starts shooting the breeze with the owners, husband and wife. Hypothetically, she asked the owner if he would cater pizzas to a gay wedding. He said no. Hypothetical no more. And that is the story of the homophobic bigot that wanted all gays to be erased!! Destroyed his businesses, harassment and death threats never stopped. The Pizza guy who would not cartor his pizza pies at a guy wedding.
What I find outrageous is who in their ever loving mind has pizzas catered to their special of day of Matrimony Bliss? Even if you get hitched in the back of Pioneer Park or Condon Park near the picnic area, you never see the pizza guy.
Sounds to me like that reporter is trying to give gays and lesbians a bad name. Catered pizzas for a gay or lesbian wedding? On what planet?
Hypothetical, or course.
So George,…..LikeLike

Paul this is not an intelligent conversation. This is a conversation where you’re trying to paint people who naturally want to live by people that are similar to them as racism. It’s an indisputable fact that people have a tendency to gravitate towards people that are like them. It’s not about skin color. It’s not about the color of their hair. And in the United States it’s not even about national origin. It’s about societal norms and societal values. In the United States our culture exemplifies, or at least it is supposed to, the rule of law, free speech, the bill of rights. While we may have different skin colors or different national origins and maybe even sometimes speak different languages, we are united by these mutually excepted an ancient societal values and societal norms also known as freedom and liberty. Other nations have values that are different than ours, and they are free to have these differing views. The United States does not own the right to tell other societies how to live their lives. It is none of our business. People like you want to make it about race for political purposes in an effort to divide this nation. That’s how totalitarians work, Paul, and the arguments that you are simply not true and are a danger to our shared future. So long as a man shares my values about America and freedom and believes in the bill of right, Equal protection, the rule of law, I could give two shits who he sleep with or the color of his skin or anything like that. If he share these values which I too share, he is my brother. Americans are not a racist people. We were for sure but that was a long time ago. Are we perfect? Of course not but Americans love their fellow man and no amount of you screaming “racism” will catch on. Unlike totalitarians who want us to believe them and not put lying eyes, we believe our eyes. America is not a racist country. Period. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Opps. Sin of omission. Even high school pools and swim classes forbid the burka in mandatory high school swimming class. No exemptions, no exceptions. The truth is We are a wonderful people. We love our culture, our family, our neighbors, our friends, and our fellow man. We do not have a people problem…we have a government problem. Time to have a new “Renaissance” of western freedoms and get rid of these idiots trying to divide us for their own authoritarian power.
“That government is best which governs least, because its people discipline themselves.” Instead of looking outside for the solution all of our problems, maybe we should be looking inside and being a virtuous people who can govern themselves.LikeLike

Sounds like Psul Emeryville has a big problems with both parts of the freedom of association (assembly) found in the 1st Amendment. No surprise there at all. Just another antiquated part of the 1st Amendment the Paul’s of this world wish to eliminate. When others’ right are being trampled, it’s no big deal to our selective news director. Strike that, our current man with the microphone in your face. But, when they thought about regulating outdoor parties with loud Musik in residential neighborhoods, Punchy was screaming blood murder with the perennial hair on fire.
“I thought you Conservatives supported local control!” Our silence must be violence.
“The right to intimate association refers to the right of individuals to maintain close familial or other private associations free from state interference. Such rights include the right to marriage, the rearing of children, and the right to habitate with relatives”
Freedom of Association
The freedom of association — unlike the rights of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition — is a right not listed in the First Amendment but recognized by the courts as a fundamental right.
‘First Amendment protects two types of associative freedom’
There are two types of freedom of association: the right to expressive association and the right to intimate association.
Additionally, the First Amendment protects a right to associate and a right not to associate together.
Expressive association refers to right to associate for expressive, often political purposes

What you can expect from those 200,000 acres that bill gates bought –
The study also shows that AGRA in fact harms small-scale food producers, for example by subjecting them to high levels of debt. In Zambia and Tanzania, small-scale food producers were unable to repay the loans for fertilizer and hybrid seeds after the first harvest. AGRA projects also restrict the freedom of choice for small-scale food producers to decide for themselves what they want to grow. This has dramatic effects on crop diversity. AGRA’s focus is on the one-sided cultivation of maize. Traditional climate-resistant and nutrient-rich crops have thus declined. According to the study, millet production fell by 24 percent in the 13 AGRA focus countries from 2006 to 2018. Moreover, AGRA lobbies governments on behalf of agricultural corporations to pass legislation that will benefit fertilizer producers and seed companies instead of strengthening small-scale food production and alternative structures. Indeed, it is being courted by governments worldwide for precisely this service.
The publishers of the study conclude, among other things, that governments in the Global North and Global South must withdraw from AGRA and all other Green Revolution programmes. Instead, they should support more sustainable, holistic approaches such as agroecology. Agroecology focuses on the needs of small-scale food producers, their human right to food, and their food sovereignty.
