If you want to hide something from Joe Emery, put it in a book.
Paul Biden went back futher in time than Carter, futher back than Nixon, and all the way back to Lynden Baines Johnson to slam Trump’s words to hurricane cleanup workers as not as comforting as LBJ’s words to disaster victims back 52 years prior. This was followed his hours long rant against Melania’s shoes she wore boarding Marine One.
Joe Emery needs to be comforted often and repeatedly.

Going all the way back to Carter is rational not only because the seeds were planted then but because the GOP has been stuck with a large minority of Dems in the House even in the handful of years there was a GOP majority… meaning anything Dems were hot for they could get by holding their breath until they turned even bluer.

Bye Joe Emery.
I recall when Paul Biden went back past Jimmy Carter, past Richard Nixon, all the way back to Lynden Baines Johnson to slam Donald J Trump for the words the President spoke to the first responders and volunteers working day and night in the aftermath of a hurricane. LBJ said more comforting words! LBJ’s words were like a father reassuring his frightened children. I want my Daddy!
Of course the LBJ hallowed inspirational quote coincided with the infamous hours long rant about the shoes Melania Trump wore boarding Marine One with her husband. Nevermind she departed wearing stylish yet practical work boots. We will conveniently omit that part of the story. She worked in the soup kitchen.
If only FDR was there, lol.

If you take out the price of beef, chicken, and pork, the consumer price index does not look to bad. The Producers Price Index went up a whopping 8.6% in August, the highest number since 2010. Who was Prez in 2010? Who was VP? I believe the VP was Joe Biden, the man in charge of the cancelled Spring Recovery Tour. Nothing to cheer about but some small green sprouts. Yes, it was ole Joe back when his little girl hair sniffing started to reach its apex.

Walt you idiot. No backup battery? And no nose plugs? Forget the screws.
I have in my possession at this very moment Perma-Seal tape. Got it from a mortician to keep the lid closed but good so the body doesn’t fall out when the drunken Irish pallbearers stumble. Not a pleasant sight. I have witnessed such a sight. Hard to keep a straight face when the casket was knocked over and the body plopped out. I was horrified. :). At least the dearly departed cadaver didn’t reek like the time I used finishing nails to keep Joe Emery in the crypt. I had to pack my nostrils with Vaseline to be even in the same room as our Joe Emery. Gross.
Put your screw gun back but keep it handy. Top drawer. I am on it. Putting the Vaseline in the Exorcism Mobile right now. A crypt is different than a coffin. Adios.

More on Wuhan virus therapeutics.
Bits of information from 3 sources.

The TOGETHER Trial evaluation of fluvoxamine was initiated on January 20th 2021 and stopped for effectiveness on August 6th 2021 at the recommendation of the Data and Safety Monitoring Committee. The committee recommended stopping as the treatment effects were convincing and no further patients needed to be recruited to the treatment arms. The drug resulted in approximately a 30% reduction in the primary outcome. So fluvoxamine in the TOGETHER trial had favorable results for therapeutic treatment of Wuhan virus (aka covid) patients. So that was a good thing.
Then a bad thing from the same trial, snippets from WIRED:
https://www.wired.com/story/better-data-on-ivermectin-is-finally-on-its-way/
But wait! There’s more! In the very same presentation, the very same trial that showed this antidepressant (fluvoxamine) might lessen the symptoms of Covid-19 also showed that the antiparasitic drug ivermectin—you’ve heard about that one, right?—doesn’t help at all. In the Together trial, that drug, commonly used against things like river blindness and intestinal roundworms, didn’t keep anyone with Covid out of the hospital any better than a placebo. Of 677 people with Covid who got 400 micrograms per kilogram of weight per day for three days, 86 ended up in the ER or hospital; of the 678 people who got a placebo, 95 went. That’s not a significant difference, and Mills’ team dropped it from the study…
Why do you feel so strongly about ivermectin?’ they will say, ‘Because we feel there should be a cheap, effective drug that can be used by poor people.’ OK, well, we have that. We have it with fluvoxamine, and with inhaled budesonide. Why do they not care about those drugs? They don’t have an answer. They just want to talk about ivermectin.”

Flawed ivermectin preprint highlights challenges of COVID drug studies-
The study’s withdrawal from a preprint platform deals a blow to the anti-parasite drug’s chances as a COVID treatment, researchers say.
Sara Reardon 02 August 2021
Adding to the difficulty are conspiracy theories holding that ivermectin has been proven to work and that drug companies are depriving the public of a cheap cure. Chaccour says he has been called ‘genocidal’ for doing research on the drug rather than just endorsing it.

Insight: “Socialism means equality of income or nothing… Under socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you like it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live you would have to live well.” —George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
“Instead of COVID-19 vaccine mandates, policymakers should focus on providing more clear and timely data on vaccine risks and benefits so Americans can make their own informed decisions along with the help of their doctors. Freedom means trusting the American people and equipping them with information to assess risks and make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Instead of presenting a coherent strategy, including metrics that define the end of the pandemic, President Biden introduced counterproductive and divisive rhetoric and policies based on fear and control.” —Kay C. James
“The problem I have with Joe Biden, more than anything, [is that] this guy doesn’t take responsibility for anything. He’s always trying to blame other people, blame other states. This is a guy that promised when he ran for president that he would shut down the virus. If you look now there’s 300% more cases in this country today than a year ago when we had no vaccines at all. So his policies are not working.” —Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
Friendly fire: “If one party could do it, I guess another party could do it. It seems to me you start changing all these things around and people will lose trust in the court.” —Justice Stephen Breyer regarding court-packing
Not exactly: “Democrats can either abolish the filibuster and expand the court, or do nothing as millions of people’s bodies, rights and lives are sacrificed for far-right minority rule.” —Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Another BIG Lie? “My wife, deceased wife and I wanted to move to Idaho because we — not a joke — it’s such a beautiful, beautiful state. And I interviewed for a job at Boise Cascade.” —Joe Biden (“We have no record of President Biden’s application or of him having worked for the company.” —Boise Cascade spokeswoman Lisa Tschampl)
Hot air: “We can’t ignore the reality that these wildfires are being supercharged by climate change. It isn’t about red or blue states. It’s about fires. Just fires.” —Joe Biden
The Party of Science™: “By vaccinating the unvaccinated, increasing our testing and masking, and protecting the vaccinated, we can end this pandemic. That’s exactly what we are committed to doing.” —Kamala Harris (“If being vaccinated is not protecting the vaccinated, then what the hell is it even for?” —Joe Cunningham)
Missing the forest for the trees: “We didn’t anticipate that when there was a vaccine approved under a Republican president — that the Republican president took — that there would be such opposition, vehement opposition in some cases, from some people in his own party.” —White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki
Big Brother: “Unfortunately, as a country, we have experience in dealing with [vaccine] exemptions, but we’ve got to be vigilant there and make sure that people are using them, you know, in the spirit that they’re intended and not abusing them or asking for exemptions when they don’t apply. That’s an area that we continue to monitor in the days and weeks ahead.” —Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy
Vaccine non sequitur: “No one wants to go to force someone to do something, right? You prefer people do it voluntarily because they’ve been educated and it’s been made easy. But we’re beyond that point.” —so-called bioethicist Zeke Emanuel
Dezinformatsiya: “[Pro-life Republicans are] actually running over the specifically enumerated constitutional rights that have been in place for half a century.” —MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough
Grand delusions: “I’m still flabbergasted that [Biden] pulled this off with such grace and precision and safety. Everything that we’ve been told by the media, the mainstream media, by pundits who did nothing but spend weeks criticizing his exit from Afghanistan — I don’t get it.” —filmmaker Michael Moore and Punchy
And last… “So Navy fires offensive coordinator after losing to Air Force and starting season 0-2, meanwhile nobody has been fired over losing Afghanistan.” —Lucas Tomlinson

Where is a tax guy?
Tell me the death tax isn’t about to hit the little guy.
Under the plan released by the House Ways and Means Committee, the top individual income rate would climb to 39.6% for the wealthiest individuals and families. The proposal rolls back a key part of Republicans’ 2017 tax overhaul, which lowered the top individual income rate to 37%.
The new rate would apply to single individuals with taxable income of more than $400,000, according to a copy of the legislative outline. It would also apply to married individuals filing jointly whose taxable income tops $450,000; to heads of households with income topping $425,000; to married individuals filing separate returns over $225,000; and to estates and trusts over $12,500.
“and to estates and trusts over $12,500.” WTF???
Am I reading that right?!!

Norm MacDonald may be gone but we still have CNN.

Cillizza does a typical Paul Emery in trying to deny the reality of Biden being cut off when he starts to go off script. Chris quickly pivots to how the press operations work when Biden’s on the road and explains how it’s normal and there’s no ‘conspiracy’. How press operations work has nothing to do with the issue at hand, but when reality sucks, a diversion is necessary. Also notice in the questioning of Blinken that Blinken refuses to even acknowledge that Biden is being cut off.
The issue of Biden being cut off on several occasions, along with the video of Biden asking an invisible person if “I’m supposed to take questions now?” certainly begs the question of who is actually in charge of Biden.
How long will the left and the Dem-protecting press be able to maintain this charade?
How long can the king parade in his underwear thinking he is in the finest robes?
Even the children are catching on to Biden’s problem.

Was Schmidt one of the Lincoln Project guys who was abusing young male staffers for gay sex (no wonder why Punchy cited them so often) or was he just in it for the money?
