PaulE 959am – You’re missing the point Paul. America has been reducing its carbon footprint for at least the last 20 years (most certainly with respect to any other developed nation), and it has done this under several presidents and congresses. My point is that we don’t need to be a member of any multi-national climate change group to continue reducing our environmental pollution contribution while continuing to transit to a cleaner economy and national life style at/with our own pace and policies. It’s our anti-American globalists who want us to join such groups that reduce our national sovereignty without benefitting Americans or anyone else in the world for that matter.

CO2 emissions have been declining in the USA since 2007, thanks to fracking. Per BTU, there’s less CO2 from natural gas than King Coal.

Raphael Warnock and the organization he chaired for three years, the New Georgia Project, could be in hot water after the Georgia State Election Board advanced a case against them based on accusations they didn’t deliver voter registration applications on time in 2019, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The board voted Wednesday to refer the case against the New Georgia Project to the state attorney general’s office to continue the investigation or pursue prosecution, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

My two cents worth on Climate Change.
I have an open mind, but no one has answered this one question that I feel is the most important question there is concerning what to do, oh what to do about Man Made Global Warning:
Q: what is the amount (percentage) of climate change due to human activity and what is the percentage of climate change due to natural variations of our Earth’s climate? 15% to 85% ratio? 10% man caused, 90% just the climate being itself?
To ask the same question another way, what are the number of degrees (Fahrenheit or Celsius) of the Earth’s warming is due to humanoids? 4 degrees? 2 or 10 or 15 degrees Fahrenheit? Anybody know??
That’s the bottom line for me.

I may sound like a broken record, but at one time they grew citrus in England. What caused that? Must have been some nice weather.
When the glaciers receded in the Alps, they discovered an old silver mine with all the tools in place inside the tunnel to suggest the miners of yore where going to return to keep working. Then it turned rather chilly. And of course my story of being in the Arizona desert with nary a scrub sage as far as one can see (and you can see for miles in the desert) that was once inhabited by the tribes as old if not older than the Hopi (pre Navajo) that had streams and tall grass and game aplenty…the basket weavers. What happened to that lush area that is now nothing but broken shale? I dunno. Must have been climate change.

Now, the Paris Accord. The deal was originally falling apart at the 11th hour and all that was needed to have ‘just one more country to sign up’ to the toothless agreements, guidelines and goals, when Obama asked, “Whatz the hold up?” It was some small nation of islands somewhere out in the deep blue sea that wanted 600 million to sign. Obama said, “Thats the hold up? Give it to them.” Thus the taxpayers of the USA gave it to them.
China just announced last week that they will be carbon neutral by 2060. WOW, only 40 years and nobody believes them. China is building brand spanking new coal fired plants by the dozen and Japan is more than happy to build the coal fired electricity generating plants for them. Has a contract to build 20 in China and the Paris Accords say that is just fine and dandy. Now, if you really want to know who is really amping up on CO2 emissions, just look at India. I reckon that China and India are developing countries so they get some slack for those that said we will all be dead in 12 years. A curse on China and India and the AOC and her Sunshine Kids and Greta….a curse on all of them.
Germany was the proud poster child of fighting climate change in the entire EU. The bright and shining example. Germany’s wind and solar mega plan turned out to be a bust and they brought in Polish miners to start digging coal in eastern industrial Germany. Hurry up with that coal, it’s getting cold outside. Germany nixed nuclear plants, found out that wind and solar not only are not up to the task, its obsolete technology as well. Now Merkel will be buying natural gas from Putin with the new pipeline by-passing Ukraine and Ukraine losses all that money in fees they collect from Russian LPG crossing their territory. It’s a dog eat dog world out there. Baby, I am freezing my rump off inside.
So, France is doing ok because they got nuclear power and have stuck with it. Clean. The biggest solar field in the entire State of California (big)…..well it would take 17 of those to deliver what one nuke juice plant can deliver reliably and quite clean….without hundreds of thousands of acres of windmills and solar fields. Not that they are not easy on the eyes either. Gag me with a spoon. Can you say “eyesore”.? Mega eyesore?
Bottomline: The Paris Accords, like NATO, leaves the US taxpayer footing the bill. And the only ones who suffer and gets punished are us Americans as our economy is wrecked by harebrained Green New Raw Deals. We are the only ones who HAVE TO destroy our economy, see energy prices skyrocket, and can’t meet the needs of running the NY subway, let alone a developed nation from sea to shinning sea.
Technology has made the air cleaner. Fracking. Business folk. Now, kindly point the highly skilled laid off fracking workers to their fantabolous new green jobs. They can start tomorrow.
BTW, the agency that keeps track of the days and temps of growing season days each year says that the US (northern central states up into Canada’s breadbasket region have lost 20%of their growing season days over the last maybe twenty years

Good advice and now here comes the ‘but’. But, some things take time to confirm as fact what we already can see in the now is clear as day. They don’t even bother to try and hide their true wretched selves anymore.
For example, take the ‘Trump killed (or murdered) 5 people on Jan 6’ jungle drumbeat that currently being played out. Then it jumped to seven, but it’s was released by the DC Police Chief the two police officers at/near the scene had both committed suicide, so back to the number five. 5 dead; 1 officer and 4 civilians.
The one woman who was reported earlier to have been trampled to death is now, per initial medical examine, was not trampled to death. It would be spreading misinformation to speculate as to the cause of her death and the moment, save to say her family confirms she had a medical condition.
The dude who “was killed” had a long history of a bad ticker as confirmed by his family and relatives and he died of a heart attack. They figured with all the excitement going on and him seeing it all from the street and in the midst of the crowd…..that his heart just could not take it. They were not surprised in the least.
So, that leaves us with the woman who was killed by the Capitol Police as she tried to come into a room/hall close to where the reps were through the broken glass in a door or window.
That is a total of one confirmed kill. One. The slain officer of 13 years on the force did not die of blunt force trauma. Just waiting on the woman who at was reported as being trampled, then confirmed no initial medical examine sign of her being trampled on her body, now rumored to have had a stroke.
All that to say is we are still slowly pulling off another layer of the Obama having his administration spying on the political opposition and trying to frame Trump pre and post ‘President-Elect Trump’. Those FBI docs Trump ordered released going out the door….well…..after a couple dripped out but the bulk of the batch ordered released seems to be not appearing for the last couple of weeks. Cease and desist. Some things take time….so much time only historians care.

DB 11:37 – I wouldn’t gloat about the Dem-led bay area cities potential financial ruin. Remember who runs DC? They’ll get bailed out and the Red states will pay. The more they project the loss, the greater the fire hose of cash that comes in.
This is why the ‘great experiment’ of the different states being allowed to operate with different ideas of government doesn’t work out. The failed states never really fail as they should. Uncle Sugar just bails them out and pats them on the head and tells them “Now remember who to vote for next time”.
