It’s as funny listening to you describe “real Republicans” as it is listening to Frisch describe “ Real Americans”.

Quit making fun of Todd Bill. He’s a Nevada County legend who has fallen on hard times. He’s part of our folklore and might be moving to Idaho leaving a void that cannot be filled since he’s such an ol time Republican and they are practically extinct in Nevada County and especially California. By the way Trump is down by 30 in California which shows how the Repubs are fleeing the state.

Down 30 in CA? WTF!!! That can’t be right. He should be down around 70 in California. At least 65. That don’t pass the smell test. Oh yeah, how silly of me. I forgot whose Trump’s opponent is. Well, whatever the numbers are, I am glad to live in a Red US Congressional District. Not a bad place to live.
The State is another story and I am being taunted weekly by my friend in WY with pics of what they have been doing and they most certainly would not consider ever coming back for even a imini-second. Loves the people there. He lived in the best places in CA and after being born and raised here, he had enough. The weight has been lifted from his and his lovely bride of 50 years shoulders. They are on the same page. A very tolerant and caring couple, but the PC got to him and her gentle spirit. Free at last. Heck, they just drove out to some place and did a long buggy ride across the wide swaths of land where the deer and the antelope play. Where seldom is heard a discouraging word….and the rest of…you know the thing. He fled. I have not said no to the idea. I don’t want to head south, head north, and can’t go west. That only leaves East…

I measure Trump by his enemies. The professional bureaucratic class, post-secondary education run by insane people, the internet surveillance monopolies, the open-borders zealots, the neo-cons and their need to kill US troops and bring down foreign governments for shitty reasons.
Why the KVMR news staff has those people as allies is beyond me. Seriously. The Trump administration has done nothing very exotic compared to previous ones but the overreaction is dramatic.
We’ve been treated to 3.5 years of ginned-up mostly fake controversies followed by what is obviously a power grab by the grassroots Left. The real face of ‘progressives’ has been unveiled by the opportunity presented by pandemic.
Trump is one of the few forces, besides sheer common sense, that might keep us from toppling over the abyss. In the meantime, even our elderly hippies have joined forces with the worst players in institutional power because of an imaginary demon. May God forgive you.

More grim predictions for Trump losing in Nov
WASHINGTON – American University’s Dr. Allan Lichtman predicted President Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory.
Now, the history professor who has correctly predicted the winner of every presidential election since 1984, says Trump’s time in office will soon come to an end…..
One of few to predict Trump’s 2016 victory, Lichtman said predicting the upcoming election has not been difficult despite it potentially being the biggest election year change in the history of the country.
Lichtman said he believed Trump was cruising to victory in 2019 prior to the coronavirus pandemic. “Rather than dealing with the crisis facing the country he thought he could talk his way out of it,” Lichtman said.
His mishandling of the COVID-19 crisis, according to Lichtman, cost Trump three crucial ‘keys’ — the short term economy, the long-term economy and widespread social unrest. That — along with losses in the mid-term elections, his impeachment, lack of military successes, and his lack of appeal to most Americans — will cost Trump a second term and will give Democratic challenger Joe Biden the victory, Lichtman said.
You can read the whole story here.

And your support of the crooked Biden and his legacy of failure is well documented. Why would you support someone that lets little girls rub his golden leg hair? And he sniffs and touches women and kids without their permission? Does that mean you support that behavior? Apparently. That is truly sick. Lastly, I have a hard time understanding your love of a true deep stater like Biden. And you support the Biden that put 25% on all the credit cards. You are a true hypocrite.

I recall VP Joe being interviewed about the Fed’s dismal record of NOT prosecuting folks who committed perjury in filling out paperwork for firearms purchasing. There were MANY who claimed they didn’t have convictions, didn’t have drug problems, who had their firearms purchases blocked… but virtually none of them got criminally prosecuted for lying under penalty of perjury to get a gun.
Joe thought that was fine. They didn’t get the gun. That’s what the law was all about. So the Feds didn’t go after crooks who were lying to get guns. I assume that meant they instead went to the black market to get them the old fashioned way.

You know, I was thinking about sandbox ideas. It occurred to me that if kids are doing remote learning, why should it be from the local schools? It seems to me that there’s a real business (or non-profit) opportunity out there in that you could create a high quality online school that isn’t filled with modern intersectional AntifaBLM religion injections. Is that being done already?
If I currently had school-age kids, I would definitely not be sending them to public schools at this point and you can see where this is a good opportunity to break from the current system..

scenes 553pm – yes, this is known as the ‘Master Teachers’ program and has been discussed and referenced a lot in these pages. In a way you can think of the Khan Academy as a master teachers curriculum, and also the outfit Great Courses sells master teachers lecturing on various topics from the technical to the sublime. The problem with having parents do this are – wait for it – the teachers unions. Their job is to maximize their take by maximizing the number of dues paying teachers, no matter how deficient, that are REQUIRED to teach your little darlins. Its the online equivalent of school choice for parents, and that’s a no, no, no. But then, you knew all that.

Is this ‘Master Teacher’s’ program interactive? That’s more what I’m getting at.
Given the drop in prices for this stuff, I can easily see setting up a spare bedroom as a telecommute studio for a school age kid. Good camera(s), big 4k monitor, extra good mics (important) although there’s still a problem with audio latency. A brilliant way to move to what I would think of as a proper education. Basically do a better job of what is now considered remote classrooms. Nothing original here, but these times represent a great opportunity to push towards this.
Send the little buggers to after-school music or athletics so they can have person-to-person interaction once The Plague has abated somewhat.
as a side note, this strikes me as a good idea.

Sanger’s disgusting view of black people might even make Joe Biden wince. In a 1912 essay titled “What Every Girl Should Know, ” Sanger warned: “It is said that the aboriginal Australian, the lowest known species of the human family, just a step higher than the chimpanzee in brain development, has so little sexual control that police authority alone prevents him from obtaining sexual satisfaction on the streets.”
That was 1912. That was 37 years after Confederate General, Nathan Bedford Forrest, a founder of the Ku Klux Klan, publicly renounced his racist past, called for equal rights for black Americans, and kissed a black woman on the cheek in public to thank her for a bouquet. Despite Forrest’s redemption story, he is still being canceled and discarded all over the place. Meanwhile, in 2009, Hillary Clinton said this of Sanger:
I admire Margaret Sanger enormously. Her courage, her tenacity, her vision.”
When I think about what [Sanger] did all those years ago in Brooklyn. I am really in awe of her. And there are a lot of lessons we that can learn from her life and the cause she launched and fought for and sacrificed so greatly.
Well, now it seems, and with no pressure whatsoever from the same fake news media that destroyed a nobody-rodeo clown, Planned Parenthood is being forced to take a moral inventory of itself and its vile founder.

Starting to feel like a dem lead city around here –
According to Bates, the vandal spray-painted walls and fences from the 400 block to the 600 block of South Auburn Street, as well as many businesses in the McKnight Crossing Shopping Center from Kmart at one end to Papa Murphy’s at the other end. The suspect then headed over to the Pine Creek Shopping Center on Freeman Lane and tagged almost every business starting at the Hospice of the Foothills thrift store and ending at the rear of Raley’s, Bates said.
The officer, who was refueling his patrol vehicle as he was coming off the graveyard shift, saw a man crouched down near a dumpster in the 700 block of South Auburn Street close to some of the tagging, Bates said.
The man fled into some blackberry bushes and headed toward the highway, but was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. As it turned out, although he was not the vandal, he admitted to having been trying to break into coin machines at the car wash, Bates said.
The man, identified as Andrew Ray Johnston, 35, was booked into county jail on suspicion of vandalism, burglary, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $55,000, according to jail reports.

scenes 623pm – Yes indeed Mr scenes, the entire purpose of the Master Teachers program is to disseminate the pedagogical talents of master teachers to as many students as possible, so each is taught by the creme de la creme of their subject matter. Universities that offer such lectures have the interactive part handled by grad students working on their doctorates in the same subject. Years ago, I did my turn at that as a pre-doc for my committee chairman. The profs who record such lectures know that they are teaching for the ages, and they really put their best into it since they get to edit and polish their own videos.
