Well, they had a big international beer judging competition in Munich to which all the major and wannabe brewers sent their various brews for judging and receiving the prestigious awards. The Corona folks also sent their finest. A couple of weeks passed and when the award ceremonies were over, the Corona folks had heard nothing, not even an email acknowledging their entry. So they inquired, and the next day they got a reply from a German vet in Munich that read 'I was forwarded the specimen you submitted, and am sorry to inform you that your horse has diabetes.' ;-) gjr]

I was sittings here with my cheapo phone plan a in 2019 and no more ditching out on having internet as an option. No more flip phone plans. So, I signed up for the lowest data plan that had unlimited phone and text. Then I put the slow locks on it when I ever appproached my 1-3 megs a month. When I reach the limit, I still can surf…not much faster than dial up, but faster and free
Get an e-mail from the phone carrier. Because of the crisis and how much I have suffered through this devastating NATIONAL EMERGENCY CRISIS, they are giving me 10 megs more for free next month, don’t have to do anything at all.
Then I get another e-mail saying because what treasured person I am suffering through all this uncertainty, here’s 15 megs free for next month (this month). I feel valued. 🙂
Car insurance e-mails. Because of all this financial stress going on, 20% off your car insurance months bill for the next two months. If you paid the full premium at renewal (bingo!), they will credit my card each month for two months.
I never realized how advantageous is was to be suffering so. A penny saved is a penny earned.
