Let’s introduce a term that might come into play: a BSO, a Bomb Shaped Object.
Wind instruments that look nice but are completely unplayable have been available on the internet for years. Trumpeters refer to TSO, trumpet shaped objects. I remember locally, a friend asking me what I thought of a four valve piccolo trumpet (think Penney Lane) he purchased. It was a candidate for turning into a nice lamp but it could never be made into a usable instrument. Wretched, it was.
Ten or more of the bombs/BSOs were made and delivered, none have exploded (and thank Zarquon for that). At some point, we’ll have to be faced with either the person making them was a bloody incompetent, or didn’t intend for them to explode.
I don’t pretend to know which it is.

Ok, a serious matter. Voting. I don’t know any of these locals running for fire districts or the PV school boards or any of those names on the ballot locally. Not even the Nevada County School Board. Hate to vote for a cockroach or a the usual nincompoops. Any suggestions? Help me out.
I went to the Nevada County Republican Party page and the Women’s Republican Party local site, but no recommendations, just pics. Did find one site with voter recommendations called Robyn Nordell.com that I will read for to see if the CA court justices should be given another term. A new justice could be worse than the existing ones. Oh, decisions, decisions.
I thought it would be easy to vote. But, when it came down to fill in the box, I simply could not vote for either Dianne Crimescene or that guy who cha ged his name from Leon to “de Leon” to get the victimhood Street cred and political advantage. A curse on both of them. Had to walk away from filling out the ballot…three days ago.
Will take any suggestions on local yokels. Done the rest of the ballot except the Senate “pick your poison” choices and locals. Everything else checked off. Man, I cannot reward bad behavior….so I reckon Dianne Crimescene is not an option. Neither is the open boarders dude. I am screwed.

I voted for Kevin Leon. For awhile I was considering voting for DiFi as there was a possibility of Cox winning and DiFi not lasting the full 6 year turn… thus giving Cox a choice to fill the seat with an appointment, but the chance of Cox winning seems less than Leon’s chances.
I recently ran into a diehard Libertarian (in fact, he picked me out) who warmed the seat in the LP booth at the county fair for many days… he seemed to think the local LP has all but disbanded. They weren’t at the Fair.
If the reason for the top two was to kill off 3rd parties… Mission Accomplished, assholes. Voter suppression is alive in the formerly great state of Kali.

I have been heartened the last few days. Re: Identity Politics, herd mentality leading the sheep over the cliff, insanity, and the Leftinista real and parent danger to life, liberty, and the indivduals’ pursuit of happiness, aka, my country, our country. Very troubling.
Then it hit from a couple of sources. Identity politics is destained to self-cannibalize. Rejoice oh my soul. Ties in with the 80% hoax rate on campuses for sexual assault and race/hate crimes. Think about it. On the campus, the most diverse and welcoming and violent crime places on Earth. But, the kiddies hear how absolutely wrong and bad and evil and dispectible and oppressed live is living in the USA. They get all upset and go out the Slay the oppressors and all things unfair and unequal…..and no boggy man to be found on campus. So, they either run out of the room and send themselves hate mail or yell out Me too! about being the target of a racial attack to get attention. They start turning on themselves. The blacks, the gays, the privileged ones, women against men…they eventually cannibalize each other. A group of factions first fracture, then vie for the top of the heap.
Politics of Group Identiy works when there was still widespread racism in the US. People being barred from restaurants and drinking fountains, salt thrown in their eyes, firehouses, etc. Real boogeymen. Real bad stuff. Real senior poverty and tough times. Those days are gone. The poorest on welfare have cable tv and microwaves, sometimes two bathrooms. That is luxury. Flush toilets? Free phones? Stuff prior generations could only wish for. Long distant calls but once a year or for funeral notifications. But, no real boggiemen for Identity Politics to work. It’s the Trannie Babies hour in the spotlight this week. Men are bad.
See the same thing going on now on the Left. This month it’s white elite airhead women turning on white woman. lol. Trump did not create the mobs, he exposed them. Self cannialization is their future. There are only so many bad guys….er…dregs of society as Biden recently called “others”. As long as Trump is around, they go straight to him being the boogeyman. The suspicious packages proove it. They aren’t blaming fringe groups or White Supremists or NASCAR fans. Nope, straight to Trump. But, down the road after Teump, I see self cannibalization. Scaredy to think what iron fist of authoritarianism emerges from the sad sack of groups.

therefore he is a right wing extremist. lol, sometimes it’s like they don’t even phone it in.
Like I said, if you tortuously define your terms, you can blame almost anyone. Truth be told, there’s scarcely any obviously political real-deal terrorism in the US at all. The moment something like the IRA or Irgun start being active, it’ll be as plain as the nose on your face.
