   Think about it. Months ago, maybe 3+ months ago, somebody put up those words. The mime troupe did their thing about a week and a half ago. Somebody, somewhere is making ‘STINK-ASS’ signs and putting them up every couple of months. This is serious business, FBI worthy, even more serious than changing the ‘Grass Valley’ street signs to ‘ass alley’.

   Now what in the tarnation is going on here? The Leftinistas are wound up tighter preacher’s wife’s girdle at an all your can eat pancake breakfast. Whoa Nelly, the dam is bustin. Thar she blows! Oh my. The Left is going bonkers the last couple of days.
   I was warned. Dan Begino sent this to my in-box a couple of days ago. Now it makes sense.
   The “collusion” case against Trump has entirely collapsed. It’s been a hoax from the beginning but the media, and the Democrats, are panicking because of two key developments:
   1) Clintonista Lanny Davis has completely backtracked on his claim that Donald Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting.
   2) The dossier claims, which place Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen in Prague, have been repeatedly discredited and Lanny Davis has convincingly denied these charges.
   The media is losing ground quickly and they’re running out of time to produce the goods on this Russian collusion hoax. Trust me, they’re anxious right now. They know it’s all falling apart.

   Then the Dems are stuck with a socialist running for Gov in Florida of all places. And the party ain’t none too happy about it. Hey, people move to Florida because they are sick and tired of the sky high crushing taxes and burdensom regulations in the Blue Northeast and thus are escaping in droves. Florida is nice. No state income tax, restrictions on property taxes, good place to get away from the Socialist Democrats of the Deep Blue Liberal Strongholds. Governed pretty well as far a States go, and no one breathing down your neck because you want a Big Gulp and like stand your ground laws. But, noooo. This Socialist the Dems nominated for Gov wants to get rid of ICE and immediately raise the state corporate income tax by 40% and do the massive free stuff thang. And now he is playing the race cad to the hilt all day long, lol. How predictable.
   His proposals are billions more than the state budget or his jacked up taxes will bring in. He is trying to turn FLA in New Jersey or a Blue California, ROFLMAO.
   Do you know why the Cubans who risk life and limb to,escape the Socialist tyranny of Cuba move to Fla? It’s not cause of free healthcare, they can get that in Cuba. It’s because of freedom and they like it. They dreamed of it. Do you know why Venezuelans immigrante to Florida? Its no for the free earth care or socialism. They can get that in Venezuela, and like Cuban, it sucks. No, people like Florida because of the nice weather, capitalism, low taxes, and freedom. Did I say freedom?
   It is sad to see the sorry state of the Democrat Party and what they are turning into. All they have is “Russia, Russia, you are a racist, Russia, Trump is a racist, Russia, Russia, Trump is a racist, Russia, Trump is a racist demagogue”……all the while they have nothing to offer or talk about save to demagogue folks and call them racists. Me thinks they are the true racists and the true divisive demagogues. Strike that. Me no think, me knows. .

   ll I know is it was put up the day of the show in front of the venue the Mime Troupe was playing at. Had to tell the police. Any responsible producer would have done so. The Mime Troupe is the most overtly left wing political theater group on the west coast so it’s hard to think it wasn’t intentional.

   While advocating deportation of fellow Americans who disagree with you is IMHO a deplorable reaction, those facile with a dictionary know that deportation is a legal procedure, and not some kidnapping in the middle of the night and dumping them over the fence into Mexico. In other words there is nothing violent about promoting deportation – other factors have to come into play to constitute violence. So I don’t know how deportation and violence suddenly got commingled – sounds a lot like leftwing Newspeak.
   Maybe PaulE can make the whole thing clear for the rest of us (remember we’re NOT talking about pasting nasty slogans on traffic signs here).

    Re the right/left violence discussion thread. PaulE emailed me the photo he took of the defaced stop sign that he reported to the police. He wants everyone to see this evidence of rightwing violence that is posted under the most recent Ruminations. It is clear from the inference of PaulE and other leftwing commenters that the use of “we patriots” on the pasted sign could only mean that the sign’s provenance was from the Right, since it is clear that no one on the Left would consider ‘patriot’ to be an appropriate label for themselves. But we should let Paul explain.

    Noticed last night that the 2nd quarter GDP was upgraded to 4.2 from 4.1%. The world has gone backwards, I tell ya. All through the previous administration, the figures were always downgraded after the announcement to. Lag time. Waste of time to argue official final numbers with those uninformed unhinged lost souls to keep saying Obama had a year with over 3% growth. They sure like to point to record of the announced numbers more than the final official numbers. 🙂

    Nevertheless, even though the story has imploded, CNN has not only refused to correct or retract the false report but continues to stand by it, as does the now-disgraced Bernstein.
    With Davis admitting he was the source, CNN has been claiming it has a another source, which is what Trump means when he is mocking their search for that “source.”
    Even so, even if CNN has another source, that source should be outed by CNN as a liar. If that source even exists, he or she is guilty of giving CNN bad information. Back in the good old days, when the media was somewhat concerned about its credibility and deterring “sources” from lying, sources guilty of lying were named and shamed.
    This Trump Tower story was CNN’s biggest of the year and the biggest story the hapless Bernstein has had since he and Bob Woodward parted ways 40 years ago. To have something like this implode is a massive humiliation, even for a shameless outlet like CNN.

    There is so much wrong with that tweet by the grunting squealer. First, the guns were purchased in Maryland, not in Rubio’s state. In Maryland, there is a 7 step process of careful vetting, waiting periods, and long background checks to legally purchase a firearm. 8 steps if you count going to pick up your gun.
    The shooter passed the mental health background checks. Maryland has a one gun purchase per month policy. Since the shooter had purchased two guns, he had to wait 30 days and go through another lengthy background check for the second gun. It appears the shooter did not reload the gun he used. No ammo capacity violations, no military style weapons used, no flags for mental heath issues, no FL gun law loopholes or bobbling the ball.
    So, what’s Rubio to do? Station state agents at every road leading into Florida and search every vehicle for a gun that making its way into the State? What about train coming in from the west? Every Greyhound buses and passengers? Best search every trucker’s cab just to be sure.
