Gross polluter Walt? Are you talking about my Ford Econoline? Always passed smog. Sold it last year.
My goodness you’re a desperate man. So if you meet someone who is Greek you’re initial assumption is they are prone towards “habitual lying and fabrication”. Do you have other behavior assumptions about other nationalities or races or is it just Greeks?

Here’s a thought,,,per Little Kim at Heritage,,,maybe the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) are mentioning Denmark and Sweden as examples because ”’compassionate capitalism”’ is their goal.
As you know,,,political parties and their stated platforms do not always accurately describe how representatives of those parties conduct themselves when governing.
Look into Scientology,,,they have a program that can deprogram you of trigger words like Socialism.

The Danes apparently have grown weary of Sen. Bernie Sanders insulting their country. Denmark is not a socialist nation, says its prime minister. It has a “market economy.”
    https://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/denmark-tells-bernie-sanders-to-stop-calling-it-socialist/
As the American left embraces a platform that continues to look more and more like a socialist’s dream, it is common for those on the right to counter with the example of Venezuela as the nightmare of socialism in reality. A common response from the left is that socialism (or democratic socialism) works just fine in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. It is certainly true that Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark are notable economic successes. What is false is that these countries are particularly socialist.

Looks like we are standing on the sidelines and not backing Canada on this one, for good reason.
When did it become America’s “traditional role” to defend women’s right to drive automobiles in every country, when women had no right to vote in America until after World War I?
In nearly 50 nations, however, Muslims are the majority, and they believe there is but one God, Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet, and all other religions are false. Do Muslims have no right to insist upon the primacy of their faith in the nations they rule?
Is Western interference with this claim not a formula for endless conflict?

“Lots of sheep to look at all day long, nothing else to do. After awhile, I reckon is starts looking better and you know what they say about idle hands being the Devil’s workshop……”
Add this to your take on the Celts in general and you have a pattern of prejudice for other cultures. Bill, what do you think of the Germans, French and Africans? What peculiar traits do they have that you disapprove of.

    Punchy,
I have no problems with the Frenchies, Germans, or Africans. Beastiality is not high on their list of fun, common, or widespread practices of things to do. I am curious because of the links between beastiality practiced in a few ethnic groups it for generations with the underdevelopment of the frontal lobe. Scientific research, if you will. The more one uncovers, the more is discovered. Anyway, it explains a lot of certain peoples’ parochialism. Akin to Belgium’s studies of the high retardation rates of Muslim immigrant’s children, up to 30% in one study, high 20’s n another. Those shocking retardation rates was due to the high incidences of incest (fathers and uncles raping their female children and nieces) in Muslim cultures in North Africa and the Middle East.
Germans and the French are fine people, all in all. Advanced cultures compared to others in general region. Africans are fine people as well, but with a continent as vast as Africaand tribal differences in culture and practices, there are some places better than others and vast differences contained within. Africa is harder to paint with a general characterization than smaller countries in say, southerm Europe.

    China spies:
Washington is understandably focused on the threat from Russia. But according to FBI director Chris Wray, “China from a counterintelligence perspective represents the broadest, most pervasive, most threatening challenge we face as a country.” It was China, after all, which hacked the Office of Personnel Management in 2015, stealing the SF-86 security clearance forms of many thousands of executive branch employees in the most devastating cyberattack in the history of our country. Beijing has successfully recruited FBI agents and State Department employees as spies, and has used information from U.S. informants to kill dozens of CIA sources inside the regime. And now, we know they recruited a high value senate staffer who worked in immediate proximity to the head of the senate intelligence committee.

Here is something funny,,,once upon a time there was a Democratic-Republican party that evolved as an alternative to the Federalist Party.
There was also a labor oriented party called the Workingman’s party in1828 that predates Marx.
Republicanism can evolve into something else,,,a new and improved Marxism might be something else again. Republicans used to be the anti slavery crowd,,, now the white supremecists want in the trumpski tent.

So far as I can tell, the definition of White Supremacist appears to be either “someone who believes in national borders” or “someone who thinks that the Frankfurt School is silly and somewhat evil”. Real-deal Nazis are few and far between, but it’s a fun term to tar your opponents with.
I wouldn’t get wrapped up in economic definitions here in Right v. Left. A modern Republican would be considered a Marxist (or crazy) by the average Democrat or Republican from 100 years ago. Huge government inroads in everyday life have pretty much been accepted by the vast majority at this point.

A young North Korean woman (24) was interviewed about her book on CSPAN this morning. For all you whiners about America and how terrible and prejudice it is, I say shut your pie holes, get down on your knees and thank GOD you are an American. This little gal still dreams of food as she and her family and townsfolk starved every day. If she did not go out and collect grasshoppers she would have starved to death. She grew up next to a river and China was on the other shore. She saw their electricity, cars and the smells of their cooking and finally escaped. She was 13. Her mother and she were raped by Chinese men for quite a while but she was at least eating food. She eventually got here and she loves America! And her skin is not white. So RL can go buy her book along with all you other whiners and get educated by someone who does not share your view but does share mine.

Punchy, there are multiple of studies and research papers from academia to choose from.
My interest is not in beastility as such. Not in the least.. What causes the Highlanders to lift their kilts is not of my interest. Why Greek sheepherders are so attractive to sheep or do sheep excrite an attractant chemical that the Greeks are particularly sensitive to is not my concern.
My interest is looking at why certain nationalities, such as the main two mentioned above, appear to suffer from underdeveloped frontal lobes, cognitive dissonance, and diminished capacity. That, my good man, pricks my curiosity. Why?
To understand the why behind it all, I (and many before me) have delved into possible causasions and correlations that could shed light to understanding this great mystery….including ones that are most uncomfortable, distatesful, and even abhorrent to even consider, IMHO. . Is it nature or nurture? Yes, there have been great thinkers from those regions and not all exhibited signs of the affliction, but those are exceptions to the rule and mostly found in days gone by.
I will let anthropologists go further back in time and let physiologists and chemists come up treatments to alleviate the symptoms of this disorder, affliction, malady or whatever label is put on these suffering souls. Right now I am struggling with the ole ‘what came first, the diminished mental capacity or the sheep? If the retarded development of the frontal lobe came first, then we can rule out the sheep and look for other causations. Process of elimination, but we cannot rule out beastiality as of yet. I guess you have just learned to live with it, being undiagnosed and all.
It may be a service to mankind if the direct link is revealed. Or is there more than one causation? Multiple factors? Like what caused the spike in Autism rates? Vaccines? GMOs? Depleted nutrients in our farm soil? Chem Trails? What changed? My, a lot of disturbing things across the board finds its roots in the Me Generation of the latter sixties to early seventies, from the decline in education to the rise of mental illnesses to many other alarming societal ills.

Fair enough. The more accurate term is in-breeding. More specially, the social costs to our safety nets when certain cultures migrate to welcoming countries. Oh, BTW, that study said 1/3 of children of recent Muslin immigrants birthed in Belgium were born retarded due to inbreeding, not 30%. One in three. Here is the larger overview without digging into specifics.

No Punchy. The research was targeted and limited to the two biggest known practitioners of beastiality, the Highlanders and the sheepherders of northern hill country of Greece. It’s where such people are concentrated. It’s also where sluggards congergate. Hmmm. There are some studies of Muslim goat porn, but it’s more of a pornography/entertainment thing than a cultural norm as found in the two aforementioned groups with the common factor being high rates of parochialism and beastiality. Chickens? Only a deviate could ever imagine such a scenario. Go buy one at the feed store for 14 bucks and let me know how it works out. I think I will go vomit.

Oh, a quick passing note. The research found no evidence of your people’s proclivity in New Zealand, a country famous for having more sheep than residents. That leads me to weigh more towards what I always suspected: this is a specific phenomenon which occurs in the two groups as previously discussed. The good news is the British and Irish do not appear to have be stucken with the curse. Or, maybe the Irish were too drunk to remember. Just joking. The Irish and British incidents of beastiality remain statically insignificant. Hopefully it is contained within the bloodline. Always a silver lining.

Socialists are just so intolerant –
The unusual muzzling unfolded at the start of the annual Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan, where the reporter sought de Blasio’s reaction to The Post’s front page story about his administration’s many meetings with lobbyists.
It also came after Hizzoner appeared on national TV Sunday to proclaim, “I believe in a free, strong media with diverse views — I’ll defend it with all I’ve got.”
Just two hours later, after de Blasio cut a ribbon to kick off the parade and was posing for photos near West 37th Street and Sixth Avenue, the reporter asked him to comment on the “CITY FOR SALE” Page One story.
Instead of answering or even declining to answer the question, the mayor watched as two members of his NYPD security detail approached the reporter — who was wearing a police-issued press pass around his neck — with one grabbing his shoulder and leading him away from the mayor.
