    Hillary lost the election in case you didn’t know.
    The Polls are a reflection of public support of Trump and baring some special circumstance are comparable historically to polls of recent years so there is a significance to Trumps dismal support whether RR readers like it or not.
    Calling the Trumplet and Kushner greasers are descriptions of what I feel about them with their greased up haircuts and slimy associations. Seeing the Trumplet posing with an elephant he shot for fun is witness enough for me as to the type of human being he is. Calling him a greaser is going light on him. I don’t like him and don’t have to. Whats the difference in that and the worn out “crooked Hillary ” we’ve been hearing for so long?

    Golly has anyone here ever doubted that Paul Emery does not like Trump etal or Bush etal? You have an extreme bias and therefore are not believable in these discussions.     Trump is being railroaded as are his relatives and friends by a Meuller who has hired all Trump haters. Hell, the guy he fired after emails surfaced in August was banging a fellow FBI gal who was also a Trump hater. You cannot make this stuff up. The “investigation” needs to stop, and America needs to get rid of these deep state punks.

    PaulE 1141am – You again missed my point, please reread. You are constantly confusing your poll results with evidence of wrongdoing, of which there is a tsunami about Hillary and anything yet to be presented on Team Trump. But I guess if that’s the best you can do, then we all understand.
    Calling Trump’s relatives “greasers” because you don’t like their hair and allege that they had “slimy associations” of which you and the Left disapprove, but have yet to present any corroborating evidence. Again, if that’s the best you can do … .
    And then we come to some pinnacle of being misinformed with your “Seeing the Trumplet posing with an elephant he shot for fun is witness enough for me as to the type of human being he is.” I believe I have described to you before the outstanding benefit that American, Asian, and European trophy hunters provide for wildlife conservation in Africa. They spend more money that is used for native jobs, promoting local hospitality sectors, and state-of-art species husbanding and preservation than any African government does. It is these legal hunters who make possible the suppression of poaching and other illegal takings of game. Countries that support such hunting benefit, their opposites have installed and maintain ongoing environmental disasters.
    Finally, the African elephant is anything but an endangered species. To African farmers they are a scourge, ruining crops and destroying entire farms. It is the intrinsic ignorance of socialism that have fashioned political environments that are detrimental to the economies of their countries, the promotion of crime, and the destruction of livelihoods. You leftists in America are attempting to replicate that insanity by opposing hunting, the fees from which are the major source of proper wildlife management, as witnessed in the states that prohibit taking deer, wolves, coyotes, and other wildlife that unchecked, causes environmental imbalances. Again, socialists do not understand the level of regulatory control required; for them it’s all or nothing as witnessed by their propaganda engines and their liberal grassroots supporters of which you clearly are an enthusiastic member.

    Regarding the elephant. It is totally legal and humane to kill animals for food and some for pleasure. Though I don’t hunt I know many people that do. The country issuing the permits to hunt uses the money for culling and conservation. I would assume you are a vegan if you are against hunting? Or are you a meat eater who cares less about the cattle in the slaughterhouse?

    PaulE 201pm – That, of course, is your personal perogative. But don’t confuse your emotions with husbanding African wildlife. Your view of economics also has a significant leftward bend in it. Hunting commands higher fees because trophies are taken that are of considerably higher value than pictures of beasts that may be taken in any number of the world’s wild animal parks. But the double benefit of hunting is that animal populations are also maintained at sustainable levels determined by professionals and implemented through wise government policies – I never saw a camera take down an elephant or wildebeest.
    And your mourning the decline of elephant populations in Africa is misplaced since it does not take into account the continent’s population explosion over the last century and the large animal habitats converted to tillable/pasture land to provide livelihoods for the added people. This is the usual problem with socialists when they attempt to understand multi-attribute utilities upon which to base prudent regulatory policies – starting with Lenin and the Bolsheviks, it was ever thus.

    George- As you know (Todd likely doesn’t know) Africa is a continent and not a state. Stating that the African elephant is not endangered is glossing over the fact that in many African countries the elephant is nearly extinct and in others it is a pest. Paul- yes, I have eaten elephant and it is quite good. The bigger picture that no one cares to address is that Don Jr. is glorifying the death of the elephant by cutting off it’s tail and strutting for the camera. I don’t know of any ethical hunter that glories in the death of his quarry. The likes of Donald Jr and Ted Nugent who kill for the thrill and the camera make the rest of us look like savages. If you want to sell the non hunters on the conservation value of hunting, you don’t do it by posing for the camera with an elephant tail or pulling out the tongue of a dead elk.
