[Lamestream's cynical silence on the publicly proclaimed and peddled influence of the Mexican government and its US agents – La Raza and MALDEF - of the 2016 election is deafening. And, believe it or not, there are still lefties galore who think it that Russia's unidentified influence should be our real focus on foreign intervention in our elections. Mexico has been sponsoring the vitalization of Reconquista (q.v.) for decades. gjr]

Some thought from the Diplomad 2.0, who has extensive experience in dealing with Mexico and Mexican Diplomats.
. . . I also have long considered Mexico a major threat to America. I have dealt with Mexican diplomats at the UN, the OAS, and in Central and South America. They are first rate. They are patriotic, well-trained, dedicated, and hard working. They, almost to a man and a woman, are also possessed with a deep, deep animus towards the United States. At the UN and the OAS, for example, Mexico, in my experience, played the role of opponent to whatever we sought to do. They not only consistently voted against us, they collaborated with our opponents on resolutions and projects antithetical to our interests, and, for example, refused to oppose Cuban and Venezuelan human rights violations. They rarely passed on an opportunity to stick it in our eye.
There are same Mexican Diplomats that called for illegals to register and vote for Hillary Clinton.

So BC shows he does know why the salary or in this case the lack of salary matters to things like nepotism charges.
As in the case of Bobby Kennedy, bringing on highly talented family is a free benefit to the Country. Its not like hiring Chelsey at the Clinton family shakedown so called Clinton ‘charity’. Nor is it like the dem member of congress who has maxed out the legal federal salary for his girlfriend for years.
Sounds like BC is just objecting to Kushner because he is a rich Jew. Bad liberal. 😉

The demos, Clinton and Podesta for sure and probably others, have taken all kinds of cash from the Russians. The demos think that since they are selling out chunks of America, i.e. 20% of our Uranium supply and regulations that clamp down on our domestic energy supply, to the Russians that they are best friends forever. And since BFF’s would never turn on one another that the Trumpers obviously must have been involved from the beginning to screw them over. This whole “the Russians ate my homework” blame game is is just a big CYA.
Just saying.

BillT, if that is a true statement by Churchill then that explains a lot for me. The left tosses around the term and yet they are the practitioners.
Trump won the popular vote if California is disregarded. And of course the democrats in our state want to be separate so logically they are. The people who claim to know all about the Constitution and how the government was set up are the dumbest rockheads. But that is the left, illogical and anti truth.

“Also, I would like to say that if the practice of leaking information that concerns not just the United States but also Russia, which has become a tradition in Washington in the past few years, continues, there will come a day when the media will publish leaks about the things that Washington asked us to keep secret, for example, things that happened during President Obama’s terms in office. Come on all you lefty’s. Trump won, What is it that you don’t understand about winning? Oh that’s right, you all did not get your trophy for showing up. We on the right showed up, worked hard and turned ut the vote, enough to win. Take the 4.3 million Hillary Clinton California votes out of the equation and Trump won the popular vote as well. Of course we know that is as logical as you liberals/democrats crying that she won the popular vote so he really did not win in your illogical understanding of the system. The Electoral College is how we do it. And it is so as the Founders did not want the more populous states to dominate the smaller ones. We see that here in Calfornia as the democrats steam roll the Republicans. Nothing a R wants in this state ever sees the light of day. The left, when they get control always become fascist. You cannot do anything without their permission and charge you for it as well. And you all know it. So did the Founders.
Now we see a setback in the first attempt to repeal and replace ObamaCare. Nothing worth making better is ever easy. There will be more attempts and at some point we will see a “fix”. I have said from day one they should repeal the mess and then use a voucher system for those on Ocare until there is a permanent fix. And the fix is STAY OUT OF HEALTH INSURANCE. The governemtn is telling private companies they must cover things they may not want to cover. And guess why the costs skyrocket? There can be help for the poor and keep Medicare going for the older folks. But all the rest should be left alone. We can setup a high risk pool for those that have pre-existing conditions and other issues. This would leave the 300 million of us that want to be left alone left alone.
And Trump is patient. If you have had to deal with the government to build anything you really need patience. So expect another round. The Freedom Caucus will negotiate and there will be a solution at some point. But we all know most political decision are required to have a majority and Ryan will get one.
Paul has TDS. Same as he did with Bush.

In quasi-related news, Blame Jill Stein! Or not.I always disagree with that man-boy Maddow anyway. Glad I am not alone.
[MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow—who when Reason’s Nick Gillespie’s asserted on Real Time with Bill Maher that she was a Democratic partisan replied, “Dude, I’m not even a Democrat”—said of third party voters last night, “If you vote for somebody who can’t win for president, it means that you don’t care who wins for president.” In Maddow’s world, this isn’t “punching down” at the tiny percentage of voters who rejected the two least popular presidential candidates of all time, it’s that serious-minded independents should only ever vote for the two major parties they refuse to join.
This thinking is in line with the conventional wisdom that Ralph Nader cost Al Gore the presidency in 2000 because of the razor-thin margin between the two major party candidates in Florida. Of course, such logic falls apart when you consider that almost 13 times as many registered Florida Democrats voted for George W. Bush as they did for Nader, and that liberals-for-Bush exceeded Nader’s total vote by a factor of more than three.]

The attachment of popular support of a President has a huge impact on elections and support of the policies of an unpopular president can be fatal to an incumbent such as those running for the House in ’18. If Trump is in the Dump next year at this time you can see even more distancing from him by Repubs running for re-election. This is politics 101 George. You should know that.
