[NYC’s Mamdani is a communist in socialist’s clothing.  He is now polling at the 40+% level and sure to be the city’s next mayor.  On his current Hate Trump tour he is telling his double dummies that he’s willing to work with Trump as long as the president is ready to federally subsidize his ‘affordability’ projects like free city transit rides and cheap food from city-owned grocery stores.  Gerald Baker in the 12aug25 WSJ (here) posits that Mamdani may herald a new kind of class struggle – “It’s the overeducated elites, not laborers or the masses, who are getting behind socialism today.” gjr]

The Commie Mandami is transparent. Left Helgelian to the core. His dad is a professor at Columbia, where the Frankfurt School hibernated away from the Nazis during WWII… further refining Critical Theory.
Punch, take a swing at it.

After reading the righteous bilge, I felt a strong need to read the fine poem.
Not being able to read the Peoples’ Pennysaver, I thought maybe it would be at archive.is
No dice, so maybe I can archive it.
No dice, so full of crazy online newspaper money grubbing spy stuff that the internet appears broken.
    So, I’ll write my own.
    Trump.
His gigantic manhood split Lady Liberty asunder.
The heavens open, the thunder cracks, the lamentations of the women fill the air.
    We are all handmaidens now.
I’ll check again in a bit.

    Punch,
Zohran Mamdani has expressed support for the idea of “seizing the means of production,” which refers to the concept of transferring ownership of production resources from private individuals to the community or state.
That’s one big fig leaf that’s fallen from Mamdani, most “socialists” stay away from that one.

“Right now, if we’re talking about the cancellation of student debt, if we’re talking about Medicare for all, you know, these are issues which have the groundswell of popular support across this country,” Mamdani said in a video to conference-goers. “But then there are also other issues that we firmly believe in, whether it’s BDS or whether it is the end goal of seizing the means of production, where we do not have the same level of support at this very moment.”

The five D’s of dodgeball, as famously described in the movie “Dodgeball” are dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge.

Dodging paying bar tabs, Ducking dinner checks, dipping out of draft notices, diving away from taxes, and of course, dodging any uncomfortable questions thrown his way…..!*
Here’s where it all pays off! Not having to disavow an avowed communist!

PaulE 124pm – Socialism v. Communism – while the complete and comparative definitions of each take more room than is practical for these comment streams, we can focus on the main difference between these to types of centrally planned and controlled economies. And that difference is private property ownership which socialism supposedly tolerates, but communism does not. The problem with socialism is that it is often the slippery slope to communism. Why? Consider that the definition of ownership is being able to dispose of it as you will. Socialist and proto-socialist regimes (e.g. Democratic Party) remove the fundamental attribute of ownership, hence private property, by ratcheting up ever more laws, regulations, and ordnances that prescribe its permissible uses, thereby effectively compromising and then eliminating private ownership for all intents and purposes.. An examination of the sheer volume of such governmental restrictions over the years confirms this assessment. And a closer look at which political party promotes such regimentation points directly at the Democrats.

….and if the demographic holds from the previous “No Kings”,”Fight the Trump Takeover” and “Keep your Hands off our Depends” protests, the turnout will be exclusively white, geriatric leftovers from the 60’s.

Democrats Plan Nationwide Protests Over Redistricting
The “Fight the Trump Takeover” National Day of Action, organized by the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Texas for All coalition, and dozens of national and state partners, will feature nearly 150 rallies in at least 34 states.

….I’m sure there will be “tens of protesters”! The DNC can’t afford to pay many more.

RH 1120am – You got it wrong again. My “siloed news outlets” don’t “tell” me what the liberals are saying. They simply present the video and printed materials directly from your media sources like MSNBC, CNN, NYC, WaPo, … . No need for any interpretation of the liberal voices. However, you haven’t a clue as to what the conservatives are actually saying because your media sources are truly siloed as confirmed by their low and ever declining viewership.

“I sank into Randy Carter’s comfy couch, excited to see the Hollywood veteran’s magnum opus.
Around the first floor of his Glendale home were framed photos and posters of films the 77-year-old had worked on during his career. “Apocalypse Now.” “The Godfather II.” “The Conversation.”
What we were about to watch was nowhere near the caliber of those classics — and Carter didn’t care.
Footage of a school bus driving through dusty farmland began to play. The title of the nine-minute sizzle reel Carter produced in 1991 soon flashed: “Boy Wonders.”
The plot: White teenage boys in the 1960s gave up a summer of surfing to heed the federal government’s call. Their assignment: Pick crops in the California desert, replacing Mexican farmworkers.
“That’s the stupidest, dumbest, most harebrained scheme I’ve heard in my life,” a farmer complained to a government official in one scene, a sentiment studio executives echoed as they rejected Carter’s project as too far-fetched.
But it wasn’t: “Boy Wonders” was based on Carter’s life.
Randy Carter’s collection of historical photos and other memorabilia of A-TEAM, a 1965 program that sought to recruit high school athletes to pick crops during the summer. (Allen J. Schaben/Los Angeles Times)
In 1965, the U.S. Department of Labor launched A-TEAM — Athletes in Temporary Employment as Agricultural Manpower — with the goal of recruiting 20,000 high school athletes to harvest summer crops. The country was facing a dire farmworker shortage because the bracero program, which provided cheap legal labor from Mexico for decades, had ended the year before.
Sports legends such as Sandy Koufax, Rafer Johnson and Jim Brown urged teen jocks to join A-TEAM because “Farm Work Builds Men!” as one ad stated. But only about 3,000 made it to the fields. One of them was a 17-year-old Carter.
He and about 18 classmates from University of San Diego High spent six weeks picking cantaloupes in Blythe. The fine hairs on the fruits ripped through their gloves within hours. It was so hot that the bologna sandwiches the farmers fed their young workers for lunch toasted in the shade. They slept in rickety shacks, used communal bathrooms and showered in water that “was a very nice shade of brown,” Carter remembered with a laugh.
They were the rare crew that stuck it out. Teens quit or went on strike across the country to protest abysmal work conditions. A-TEAM was such a disaster that the federal government never tried it again, and the program was considered so ludicrous that it rarely made it into history books.
    Then came MAGA.”

Yeah….farmwork in unpleasant conditions is too tough for young white kids but just fine for the permanent brown underclass that progressive America demands! Just so long as the 500lb. dilettante in Quainty Town, California can have his cheap melon for breakfast every morning.

Meet the Democrat Who Republicans Fear in Red-State America

Interesting though…it’s usually The New York Times that uses passages like the following to establish conservative bona fides…

DES MOINES, Iowa—Rob Sand could almost pass for a Republican: He frequently quotes the Bible, owns two SIG Sauer handguns, goes deer hunting each fall and asks audiences to sing a few verses of “America the Beautiful” at the start of campaign events.

Oh well…I guess even the “conservative” WSJ is desperate to get things back to the way they used to be….with the Republicans helping the Democrats pick your pockets at every turn!

Ah – looky here – a real red-meat story ’bout them MAGA from the NYTs. BeerBelly reads this crap and takes in the story hook, line and sinker. From the folks that pushed one lie after another for years:
“The far right is surging in the United States, driven in part by white nationalists exploiting economic anxieties and a populace increasingly frustrated with the political status quo”
There’s no definition of what ‘far right’ is and zero documentation of how ‘surging’ has been determined not to mention what ‘surging’ even means. 2 more than last year? Less in numbers but have more articles written about them? Doesn’t matter to the author. Just write what appeals to the crowd you’re friends with and to hell with the real story.
It seems two con artists are setting up a scam to fleece a handful of yokels but Debbie wants this to be about Trump turning our country into a whites-only nation. I’m constantly amazed at what you can write and get paid for in the process.
