The hate and the crazy drive each other in a sad dance that ends up going over the edge. Look at the voters in Chi-Town. They got rid of a crazy mayor but voted in a worse mayor. Because he played to the “vote for me to show how much you hate Trump” crowd. Now it’s gotten so bad that even the Dem voters realize what a disaster he is.
Harris and her team thought they could win by running on a “hate Trump” platform. They just over-played their hand. Their lies and hatred got so unhinged, even the goobers were starting to see through it.

I can’t say that I’m surprised. Nevada County is an outpost of the Bay Area after all. Some guy will retire or age out of ‘technology’, grab the husband and pack up the Tesla, and Bob’s Yer Uncle, you overpay for some old house in the area. You end up with a combination of expensive housing, lots of coffee shops, activist local government and non-profits, high interest in ‘tribute’ concerts.
California makes it darned hard to make a living at gold, timber, or light manufacturing, so these small towns depend on money earned in less honest fashion. Time passes, things change, we’ll all be speaking Cantonese or covered by plate tectonics soon enough.
You know, that’s a good point. Paul, you need to expand your audience. Saying ‘TRUMP IS THE BIGGEST LOSER OF ALL TIME’ in a few more languages might be just the thing.
