[We must never forget that Biden inherited the most secure border in our history, which he opened up to 11,000,000 illegal aliens that have poured in during the 3 years of his administration. In the interval he has continued to declare the border “secure”, but now declares the border crisis to be Trump’s fault. Talk about being the nation’s mega-liar who has successfully bamboozled the intellectually challenged half of the nation’s population. gjr]

Fish Whisperer,
I know you magans think Cheney and Kinzinger are traitors to the Republican party.
But that’s why I would vote for them as some of the few moral/ethical Republicans left.
Trump, hero of the right, is neither moral nor ethical.

The chickens have come home to roost in the EU and creepy grampa joe and those who worship at the altar of global warming want this for you too –
Appearing before the European Parliament in Brussels this week, Governor at the National Bank of Belgium Pierre Wunsch urged Eurocrats to be honest about the negative ramifications of the bloc’s climate agenda so they won’t have to face the anger of disappointed voters when they find out that the promises of a green economic miracle do not materialise.
“This transition is not going to make us collectively richer,” Wunsch said in comments reported by POLITICO. “We should be more candid… don’t lure people into thinking that greening carries positive opportunities that could augment GDP and create millions of well-paid jobs.”
In a stark prediction, the central banker warned that carbon price capping schemes and the higher costs of allegedly greener forms of energy could result in European energy prices being as much as five to eight times more expensive than in the United States where the shale gas revolution has mitigated global supply shocks in the energy market and looks to make America one of the top producers and exporters of energy for decades to come.
Wunsch said that as opposed to the United States, Europe with its green agenda will see similar price shocks to the energy market to the oil crises of the 1970s. He argued that European leaders should stop living in denial about this reality if they wish to retain any credibility with their citizens, warning that “without credibility, the first concrete signs of emerging problems will encourage popular anger and protest.”

No – they’re opportunistic politicians pissed because they didn’t get the adoration from Trump and other Rs, so they did what they could to get back at Trump.
They’re traitors to our country.
Idiot Juanita wants to vote for them because they’re no different than your average Dem.
They’re just Republican members of the blob.

You had your chance with Romney in 2012… let me guess, Jeff, the time wasn’t right.
I tried to tell my friends in the GOP how wrong the Mitt was for the zeitgeist. So sad.

Hey you guys are right the dark lord of liberal lament land lost his domain and if you click on the link here they want to sell the domain name.
Oh wouldn’t it be sweet to buy it and give to a hard core conservative, i can think of a number who would be a worm in the dark lords brain using his old brand to promote things like border security or something similar?!
Let me go check for coins in the sofa cushions, that should be all it would take to own the former liberal lament land. ROFLOL!

“Trump, hero of the right, is neither moral nor ethical.”
Whatever, dude. He brought us a saner policy on illegals. Policies undone by Biden as soon as he could and look at the crap-show that turned into.
Putin didn’t invade Ukraine. We didn’t run like frightened old women in Afghanistan and hand over billions in arms to our enemies. Events were way more peaceful in the Mideast. We didn’t have this high inflation. He didn’t hand our arch-enemy Iran billions of dollars. He didn’t hire wackos, perverts and thieves as federal employees. I could go on and on.
Is he a big-mouthed jerk? Is he full of himself?
Sure. The very best thing he did that has saved our country (for now) from open revolt and massive violence were his SCOTUS noms. They seem to understand the Constitution and are willing to uphold it.
So – “neither moral or ethical” from an uneducated idiot means squat to me. I can think of better picks for POTUS but Jesus wouldn’t run if he could and the others would be shot dead if they were elected.
I find it hilarious that Idiot Juanita now wants to vote for a man called a Fascist when he ran the first time. It’s truly amazing what TDS does to a person’s brain.

re the late, but not lamented web site run by a certain person of Nevada County:
If that person did not copyright the name and design of the web site, another person could use not only the same name but also the exact look of the website while inserting whatever content they wanted. Of course – since the traffic on that site was near zero, it would end up being a hollow personal joke.
Just sayin’.

re: Trump
I still think his main value was what I think of as The Lesson of Trump. The government cannot be steered at this point regardless of your candidate, it has it’s own policy. If the President doesn’t hew to that policy, he is destroyed. It was good to make that obvious.
re: Republicans/’conservatives’
I’d say they are screwed until they actually try a little harder. It isn’t just the street armies that ‘progressives’ can gin up, but it’s pretty obvious that all levels of local government and high levels of corporate management (especially FIRE and people in the internet surveillance marketing biz) are more woke than the average bear. DEI was just one tool in this takeover.
I was just musing this morning about how difficult it is for conservatives to pull on the same rope. ‘Great books’ high schools and the like will always be funding deprived and attacked from outside (anti-voucher forces, anti-private school forces, people who push for lotteries for better schools, affirmative action forces) while money flows into feelz-based organizations like music festivals, KVMR, the Briar Patch, gubmint programs. My guess is that the political right’s only really serious fundage goes into local hospital programs since the light at the end of the tunnel is likely to be a train.
To be fair, maybe it wasn’t so much a push as it was a power vacuum. People stopped caring about traditional culture and competence and into the gap moved a consortium of urban rabble-rousers, POC, unmarried middle-aged women, gracile men. The power was there for the taking, too bad for you.

Yep – witness the Seattle school district (again)
“As part of the Black Lives Matter at School Week, World Literature and Composition students at Lincoln High School were given a handout with definitions of the “9 characteristics of white supremacy,””
and
“The worksheet labels “objectivity,” “individualism,” and “perfectionism” as white supremacy. If students deny their own racism — or that any of the nine characteristics are legitimately racist — is also white supremacy.”
Raise another generation of kids being fed this crap on top of the existing generations that don’t know how to read or write to begin with and you can kiss modern civ goodbye no matter who gets elected.
