    That old fashioned hot fried chicken with a touch of grease wipes away even tar off your fingernails. Best hand clear ever. Gregory gave me a hankering to get some of that finger licking good Kentucky Fried Chicken with 19 secret herbs and spices yesterday. Got a bad case today. Darn. I just bought all this Mexican food. Curses!
    You do realize that Oberlin College had a big upheave in the days of American Actress Lena Dunham over the Blacks being served baked chicken, not fried chicken on Friday night. Big stink. The add to the upheaval, the Chinese and Asian students were served baked rice, not fired on the General Tao dish! And those cassarouls….white food is too creamy.
    When all was said and done, the blacks got their fried chicken on Friday nigh…and separate study places in the library and can’t remember if they got a separate eating area in the cafeteria. They asked…demanded as the students took over the asylum for a contentious few days. Plus the got a promise to hire more black counselors, black profs, etc, etc, etc.
    The one sticking point championed by Dunham was the vendor’s sushi was not made by a Japanese or Asian sushi maker. Cultural Appropriation! So, the big compromise was that the vendor who could not find a available Japanese sushi person in the tiny town of Oberlin, found a Hawaiian and that was close enough for all concerned.
    I am so glad we have moved beyond those silly times, aren’t you? All over fried chicken vs baked chicken.
    Amidst the fury, there was only one group that behaved themselves, and they were the ones most violated, IMHO. The Buddhists. The food preparers got meat in the vegan food. But, being how discipled and slow to anger the Buddhists are, the students had the Buddhist HQ in SF send off a letter informing them of the importance to have meat-free dishes for the students.
