You seem to fforget I’m in favor of Trump winning the Republican nomination in ’24. Sad to say how ever it’s not likely to happen. I mean what a dream come true for the Dems-running agonist the biggest political loser in the 20th and 21st centuries. Keep up the good work Walt and your fellow Circle of Jerks.

My questio of Walt is totally reasonable in that this is the sandbox which you define as being an open forum and I brought up the topic of offshore drilling in light of the big spill in Huntington Beach. So what is wrong with asking if selected RR’s supported Trumps proposal to increase drilling in those areas? All they have to do is say yes or no. So George did you support Trumps call for more offshore drilling in California?

I’m sure that will change a lot of minds and enhance your intellectual reputation.
As far as ’24 election my prediction is that Biden and Pelosi will not run and the Dems will have an open convention. I don’t believe Harris will automatically get the nomination. It’s all conjecture at this point. You’ve already made up your mind to support Trump and I wish you well. Dream come true for he Dems.

Punchy started his recreation time yesterday by opening with, ‘When is Trump going to show his tax returns’, then pivot to Trump supported opening up off shore drilling…off the coast of Orange County. How long has that rig been there?
I can understand Paul’s aversion to oil spills, being he crawled out of the La Brea Tar Pitts shortly after birth. Smelly, sticky, dark stuff that Paul has exhibited a uncanny nack for stepping into.
Told ya the producing is an easy way to make money. Sure, one has to deal with neurotics all day (when they finally wake up and get out of bed), but with this much recreational time on Punch’s hands it merely proves my point that producin’ is gravy time. Easy $.

The breakdown of the AZ audit. None of it will Emery comprehend.
“Here is a breakdown of those 49,718 questionable votes:
23,344 mail-in ballots were counted from individuals who no longer lived at the address to which the mail-in ballot was sent. The audit called these “mail-in ballots voted from prior address” in the voter history phase. (critical impact)
9,041 more ballots returned by voters than received in the voter history phase. (high impact)
5,295 voters that potentially voted in multiple counties in the certified results phase. (high impact)
3,432 more ballots cast than the list of people who show as having cast a vote. The audit called this group of ballots “official results does not match who voted,” in the certified results phase. (medium impact)
2,592 more duplicates than original ballots in the ballot phase. (medium impact)
2,382 in person voters who had moved out of Maricopa County in the certified results phase. (medium impact)
2,081 voters moved out of state during 29 day preceding election in the voter history phase. (medium impact)
1,551 votes counted in excess of voters who voted in the certified results phase. (medium impact)
An additional 3,587 votes were in the “low impact” category across 14 findings.

So, quiz time.
Does a gallon of gas, from US offshore well, through a pipeline, to a refinery, delivered to a gas station produce more or less pollution than one extracted in Saudi Arabia, delivered by pipeline to a port, transferred to a bunker fuel run ship, sent 10k miles, delivered to an offshore station, run through a pipeline to shore, pipelined to a refinery, delivered to a gas station.
‘Pollution’ can be both leaks in transport and greenhouse gas emission.
Any clue Paul? or does your Tesla, solar panel, and battery setup in the trailer not require any fuel?
Please Paul, give us your wisdom on the matter.

Thinking out loud about natural oil seepage, and there’s a really amazing amount of it that goes on (boatloads), I wonder to what extent ocean ecosystems depend on a certain amount of crude oil being introduced to the water.
I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if there was an optimal amount, it’s not a thing you could just up and cut off via magic of some sort.

PaulE 1239pm – No one is saying that you can’t pursue your oil spill crusade. Given the tsunami of all the other Biden administration f#@k ups, it seems that you and yours might want to take a stand against the overwhelming number of meritorious criticisms launched against the Left. But compared to what has been seeping out of the soCal’s offshore ocean bottom for aeons, if that minor oil spill is getting your undies in a bundle, have at it. (BTW, I too remember as a teenager getting my feet full of black goo on Santa Monica beach. In those days all trips to the beach included bringing a bottle of rubbing alcohol to clean your feet before going home.)

Paul extends an orifice and exudes: ” you support Trump and his desire for more offshore drilling off California coastlines? ”
I never really thought much about it. I don’t have an opinion beyond wondering why in the hell you are banging on about Trump in this case. PTSD? Some kind of guilt for singing workin’ man songs while never having worked?
One Trump action:
“The president signed a memorandum instructing the interior secretary to prohibit drilling in the waters off both Florida coasts, and off the coasts of Georgia and South Carolina for a period of 10 years — from July 1, 2022, to June 20, 2032.”
Paul, do you think that offshore drilling is more dangerous than onshore (or offshore) drilling in the Middle East and shipping it to the US? Could you even begin to guess? Did the equipment failure (or whatever it was) in the latest spill happen because of Trump? Can you show us on the doll where the Orange Man touched you?

“Franklin Pierce, the 14th president, who was elected as a Democrat in 1852. His pro-Southern sentiments and his policy of failing to lead on the divisive issue of slavery badly hurt his standing with the voters. Especially damaging was his support for the pro-slavery Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854, which backfired on him as Kansas was overrun by pro-slavery forces, mostly from the slave state of Missouri. The events angered Northerners everywhere and helped lead to the creation of the Republican Party. When Democratic delegates gathered in Cincinnati for their convention in 1856, it was clear that they had had enough of Pierce.”

Back to the Wuhan virus-
Israeli paper – highly vaxed population (96%) in a hospital setting; 23 patients listed in a Table, 2 were not vaccinated. Those 2 had mild symptoms and survived. The other 21 had 2 doses of the Comirnaty vaccine (Moderna). All patients had comorbidities. The time from second vaccine dose to infection ranged from 143 to 188 days; 8 became severely ill, 6 critically ill and 5 of the critically ill died. I thought the job of the jab was to reduce deaths – except when it doesn’t, evidently.
The calculated attack rate was 10.6% (16/151) for staff and 23.7% (23/97) for patients. All exposed individuals were PCR-tested for SARS-CoV-2. There was extensive, rapid nosocomial spread among the vaccinated, including individuals wearing surgical masks. Dedicated staff members worked with full personal protective equipment (PPE): N-95 mask, face shield, gown, gloves and hair cover.
You might guess that those itty-bitty Walmart masks would be slightly less effective.

Poll time:
From RCP consensus polling on Job approval:
Biden has stabalized and has picked up almost 3 points. He’s now down 2.8 compared to -5.6 a week ago. Trump on the same date of his Presidency,Oct 4, was down 15.6. Biden beats Trump by around 13 points in the same poll. Trump was a big loser from the start and has set modern history records since then.

Once again no President since some time in the 19th Century has lost the House, Senate and re-election in his first and only four year term. Trump wins hands down.
I don’t have a clue who will emerge for ’24 Pres from the Dem side so we have nothing to discuss on that question.
I only pay attention to the RCP consensus polls for job approval because they include all the established polls including Rasmussen to compile their consensus averages. they have been doing the same consensus since Before Obama so comparison of the numbers has a historical perspective. Those are the only polls that make any sense at this time but believe whatever you want.
