[“Falling Unemployment Adds to Worries About the U.S. Labor Market.  A lower rate could signal that many people are staying out of the workforce, which could add to employers’ hiring difficulties.”  This is among the flood of maladies that Bumblebrain’s socialist policies and promises now causing suffering and hurt in the land.  Has anybody yet found a SINGLE THING that he and the Dems have done right?  gjr]

C’est la vie, I can see the problem.
It was probably best to chum the unemployment benefits market (which is incredibly unfair, some people got a fair amount, some nothing) as the economy sloughed off the less mission critical jobs. It isn’t like we really need baristas and concert promoters plus there was a general drawing down. With enough hungry people you get real revolution not just the cosplay kind that was done in Portland and other cities by the Junior Democrats. But when do you turn off the spigot?
It strikes me as similar to the folks who follow Saint Keynes. The idea of turning a .gov knob when the economy is low sounds good on paper, it’s just that the knob is rarely turned the other way. Man plans and God laughs.
Of course, with President Potato as figurehead-in-chief, I suppose the answer is obvious. Two jillion jobs? One jillion unemployed people? No problem, just let in five jillion ‘undocumented workers’. The folks writing surveillance software in Silicon Valley won’t miss a beat regardless of the policy.

DEMS not happy. More minorities leave the Democrat plantation in the South.
” The campaign of Virginia Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Terry McAuliffe is brushing off the endorsement of his Republican opponent, Glenn Youngkin, by the Hampton Roads Black Caucus (HRBC).
“”I am incredibly humbled and honored to have the support of the Hampton Roads Black Caucus, and look forward to working closely with them and all Black Virginians to implement my Day One Game Plan to make Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family,” Youngkin said in a statement Saturday.
“Terry McAuliffe has hurt Black Virginians by turning his back on our schools and children, making our communities less safe, and causing the cost of living to explode,” he added.”

“Natural Oil Seeps in Southern California
Crude oil and natural gas naturally enter the ocean at areas known as “seeps.” The offshore
seeps along the Southern California coast are particularly visible, abundant, and well-studied.
    ● Offshore seeps in Southern California add about 5 million gallons of oil to the ocean
annually, with wide year-to-year variation (National Academy of Sciences, 2003).
    ● Though from a natural source, oil from seeps shows similar appearance, behavior, and
effects as oil released during drilling and other human activities.
    ● Oil from seeps affects fish, birds, and wildlife; can impair surface waters and shorelines;
    and can impact recreational activities

Natural crude oil seepage has never been a concern for the ECO bastards. Oil companies even tried to get permits to drill into those deposits to stop the natural contamination, and the ECO bastards being the real dicks they are, managed to stop those permits.

Paul, just in case you missed it last week. Harris-Harvard don’t sound like a Right Wing Wingnut Poll. I could be wrong.
“Former US president Donald Trump has overtaken his successor Joe Biden in favourability ratings among American voters in what has been described as a “remarkable turnaround”.
The Times reported that, just eight months after the transfer of power, Trump has a positive rating of 48% compared with Biden’s 46% in a Harvard-Harris poll. Back in February, Biden had a 56% positive rating compared with Trump’s 43%.
The team that surrounded Trump during his reign also fared better than Biden’s circle. Some 55% of respondents said that Mike Pence was a better vice president than his successor, Kamala Harris, and 63% believed that Mike Pompeo was a better secretary of state than Antony Blinken.

Sky News host James Morrow says the Biden administration has “two very different attitudes” to COVID depending on how you choose to enter the country.
While overseas travellers from 33 countries will be permitted entry if they show proof of vaccination and test negative to the virus, Democrats last week voted to block measures which would ensure illegal immigrants were tested.
“Strict rules for people flying into the country legally, but it’s a COVID free-for-all if you stroll in illegally, and it doesn’t make any sense until you realise one thing,” he said.
“The stuff for legitimate travellers flying into LAX or JFK is all window dressing.

“Not too long ago, we wrote a response to something that prominent gun activist David Hogg said on Twitter. He believes that all gun owners are old fogey dinosaurs and will somehow “die out one day.” When they do, all the young people will usher in the utopia where nothing bad happens, and there will be no more evil guns. ”
As the article mentions, not much attention is paid to college students regarding anything firearms-related, even though they’re increasingly becoming a large demographic of gun-buying Americans.
“In fact, the idea that younger Americans are against guns is a silly one; younger Americans were raised on the “scary” violent video games, tv, and movies from the 2000s that politicians and corporate media outlets were hysterical about back then. Those same entertainment properties are pop-culture staples today. “

    To everyone else…
It is interesting that natural seeps vastly outweigh spills, I never really thought about it. I went down the rabbit hole of reading reports on spills from various sources (land pipelines, offshore production, tankers, refineries, fueling stations), it’s all pretty rigorously measured and surprising in a few ways. The Biden Spill is kind of a bummer but not huge in the scheme of things. The Obama Spill (Deepwater Horizon) was the real monster and actually skews all the stats..to the extent that they tend to be worked out with/without that particular situation.

You have a lot of leftwing silliness to which you should respond here, but instead, you divert to non sequitur inquiries – that tactic wore out years ago.
And to show how asymmetrically silly your socialist worldview and policies are, here is an example of a rightwing lampoon, of which there are literally thousands going around the email circuits, that have no corollary from the Left.
