[With daddy’s help Hunter Biden has figured out how to collect on all of his international graft accounts – the sumbich has suddenly become a world renown artiste, ‘selling’ his paintings for up to $500K apiece.  Daddy and his DoJ are making sure that the art connoisseurs don’t get fingered as their money gets laundered.  It will be interesting to see if/how these ‘Paid in Full’ receipts are displayed.  So, no matter how they are run, elections do have consequences.  Or as Josif Vissarionovich observed, ‘It matters not for whom the votes are cast, only who counts them.’  gjr]

Here Emery,, The rest of us knew this all along.
“Dems shocked to find their lives still suck after Trump is no longer president.
US—Many Democrats are flying high after the culmination of more than four years’ of bipartisan work to end the reign of President Donald Trump.
But some are already coming back down to earth as they realize that despite the fact that the cause of all evil is gone from public life and they have no scapegoat to blame everything on, they are still hopeless losers.
“Wait, what?” said Foolmeé Wancz, a New York Democrat and avid Nancy Pelosi fan, at an impeachment watch party. “I’m pretty sure that Trump was the reason for all my problems, yet he’s gone and I still have problems. This doesn’t make sense.”
While racism seems to be completely gone, other problems like death, disease, and just outright horrible people still exist.
Psychologists are calling this new condition Trump derangement syndrome withdrawal syndrome (Tdsws) and is being considered for placement in the new psychological diagnostic and statistical manual.
As a result more Democrats are now depressed since they have no one to blame for their suck than themselves.”
We had TDS diagnosed right HERE!….

I guess I will put this here.
Lord of the Flies. Kill the Beast, Kill the Beast.
‘One Year after Riots, Twin Cities Marked by Lawlessness, Racial Division’
“Minneapolis — Speaking in La Crosse, Wis., before the Fourth of July holiday in 2015, Barack Obama directed the crowd’s attention a few miles west, across the Mississippi River.
Minnesota, the then-president noted, was proof of what blue state politics could achieve. The state’s Democratic leaders had increased taxes on the wealthy, raised the minimum wage, and pumped taxpayer money into all-day kindergarten and financial aid for college. And the state’s unemployment rate was still lower than Republican-led Wisconsin’s, and its median income was higher. Minnesota seemingly had cracked the code.
Just six years earlier, Forbes named Minneapolis the nation’s safest city. In fact, Minnesotans were used to their state topping lists of best places to raise a family or to retire, and they were happy to snub their frozen noses at the rest of the nation who viewed the state as icy flyover country with perpetually floundering professional sports teams.
Then came the summer of 2020….”

At first glance this article appeared to be just another one of the countless ‘California in my rear view mirror’ stories. But, it’s not. It’s a CA in my rear view article with data. Facts. Who is leaving, who is staying, their ages, their income….even mentions the Sierra(s) in a brief sentence. How cool is that…for the geeks among us.

“Political And Media Class Solemnly Commemorates Six Months Of Overwrought Whining About January 6”
    https://mtracey.substack.com/p/political-and-media-class-solemnly
“…Much to the delight of pundits and Democrats, these arrests continued even as the six-month anniversary commemorations were underway. One of the latest — executed today, July 9, 2021 — was of Matthew Purse, of Irvine, CA. Purse is alleged in the charging documents to have “entered the US Capitol at approximately 2:59 pm” on January 6. Upon entry, prosecutors allege that Purse “appeared to be standing off to the side, observing the crowd’s interactions with the law enforcement officers.” The complaint concludes that “PURSE exited the US Capitol at approximately 3:12 pm.”
That’s it. That’s the extent of the illegal activity alleged to have been committed by this individual on January 6. For the crime of being present within the US Capitol Building for a total of 13 minutes, Matthew Purse has been pursued by federal prosecutors for over six months, and now faces four separate charges and the prospect of prison time — not to mention the everlasting public scorn of a political and media establishment which declares that his actions somehow posed an “existential” threat to the Republic. As though milling around inside the Capitol Rotunda for 13 minutes nearly resulted in the most powerful state in world history being #literally toppled. …”

BT 7:24 – I found the article from the Sacramento Buzzed (linked in the essay) to be really humorous.
Boy – that author really thought he stuck it to us know-nothings!
    Crime?
You are somewhat less likely to be murdered in CA.
Since being murdered is statistically a moot point for the vast majority of Americans, that’s hardly a plus.
Other, more common crimes that folks do worry about?
The author won’t go there – for good reason.
    Income?
Oh yeah – higher income (on average) for sure but neglects to mention you’ll still have less after paying for a roof over your head.
    Booming economy?
Yep – for the very upper crust – the middle class will see very little of a boom.
    Live 2 years longer?
How long you live isn’t predicated by what state you’re in. Unless this clown wants to guarantee that by moving to Kali you will live 2 more years!
Of course the author ‘forgot’ to mention a laundry list of ills that are very real for most Californians and are the reason a goodly percentage either have bailed or want to.
Naturally there has to be the mention of ‘hate’ but no – it’s really just a matter of sadness at the decline of what was a really nice place to live.

As I think I mentioned previously…..Joe Biden is the “Joe Isuzu” of democrat politics!

    Famous quotes include these:
“You have my word on it.”
“If I’m lying, may lightning hit my mother.” (“Good luck, Mom!” appears on screen.)
“It has more seats than the Astrodome!”
“Hi, I’m Joe Isuzu and I used my new Isuzu pickup truck to carry a 2,000-pound cheeseburger.”
“The Isuzu Impulse: faster than a speeding—[catches a bullet in his teeth]—well, you know.”
“I swear on my mother’s grave the quality of this Isuzu!” cell phone rings “Hello? Oh, hi Mom!”
“Isuzu Trooper II, can hold the whole state of Texas!” (78.2 cubic feet of it, stated on the bottom of the screen)

‘They might have been people like Michael Ganz, whose neighbor in the Indiana Dunes, Ind., area described him as a well-known contractor and restaurant owner.
“He seemed a little bit more like one of those wealthy guys who likes the low taxes and dismantling regulations, rather than an ideological Trumper,” says his neighbor Kathryn. Like some others The Post interviewed for this story, she asked to be identified by her first name only. She had heard from another neighbor that Ganz was posting photos on social media from the Capitol steps, then saw that he had done an interview with the Chicago Tribune about his participation in the riot, falsely blaming the riot on “antifa,” a loosely defined group of militant left-wing activists.
“I saw no violence, nothing destroyed, no fights,” said Ganz, who claimed he did not enter the Capitol building, in an interview with Tribune columnist Jerry Davich. “This handful of antifa (probably staged by very powerful people), to make Trump supporters look bad, were handled quickly.”
Kathryn was appalled. So she reported Ganz to the FBI.
“I felt like I was participating in a necessary movement to start to make things right again in this country,” she says of her decision to turn in her neighbor. “It felt sort of like a patriotic kind of obligation.”’

    Quotes
Insight: “Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state. They forget that the state lives at the expense of everyone.” —Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850)
Observations: “Obama Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told CNN, ‘I think the president ought to issue an order requiring everybody in the military to get a COVID-19 shot — period. That’s an issue involving our national security,’ he argued. ‘The last d— thing you need is to have those in the military that are our warriors unable to respond to a mission because they’ve gotten COVID-19. There’s no excuse for that.’ Interesting, considering that the same military leadership has been cheerleading the troops’ gender reassignment surgery, which renders patients completely undeployable for months. Apparently, it’s no problem if you skip out on your job for the extreme LGBT cause. But if you have a personal objection to the vaccine, well then, a handful of potential sick days is unacceptable.” —Tony Perkins
Re: The Left: “We are supposed to believe that Cuba was sunk in medieval illiteracy until enlightened Communists came to power who cared above all about social progress and just happened to jail, torture and kill lots of people in the course of teaching kids to read. … There is a revolutionary movement afoot in Cuba, one that is courageous, inspiring and — one hopes — truly democratic. It is the ordinary people of Cuba attempting to vindicate their rights against the left’s favorite dictatorship.” —Rich Lowry
Upright I: “In communist Cuba, the government-run schools teach students that America is evil. But countless Cuban youth don’t believe that. In this country, Marxists in our government-run schools are teaching our children that America is evil. And in far too many cases, the freest young people in the world actually believe it. … I’m all for a student exchange program where we send our socialist-loving students to Cuba and Cuba sends us their kids who love America.” —Gary Bauer
Upright II: “What do those abroad know that those at home don’t? That totalitarianism is far more common throughout the world, and throughout world history, than freedom; that individual rights may be universal, but they only manifest when those with the courage of their convictions fight for them; that in a world of darkness and chaos, America — for all of its flaws, both historic and present — has been and remains a force for good.” —Ben Shapiro
Double standards: “Allow me to be clear: If you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States … Again, I repeat, do not risk your life attempting to enter the United States illegally. You will not come to the United States.” —DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to Central American Cuban migrants (“The new rule is that only refugees the Democrats presume will vote Republican will be turned away.” —Ben Shapiro)
Non compos mentis: “I want to unmask the lie that evolution denial is about religion and recognize that at its core, it is a form of white supremacy that perpetuates segregation and violence against Black bodies. Under the guise of ‘religious freedom,’ the legalistic wing of creationists loudly insists that their point of view deserves equal time in the classroom.” —filmmaker Allison Hopper in Scientific American
Grand delusions: “Celebrating public sexuality is an important step toward a future free of racism and homophobia.” —Yale University professor Joseph J. Fischel
And last… “Cuba’s communist dictator … has shut down the Internet in his country, called for violence against democracy protesters, & directed their arrest, imprisonment and beatings. Yet Twitter does nothing to his account. Yet they banned Donald Trump. Explain the ‘logic.’” —Clay Travis

“Biden To Restore Protections For America’s Largest National Forest
The administration will end large-scale logging of old-growth trees in “America’s Amazon” as part of its effort to fight global climate change.
The Biden administration moved Thursday to reverse the Trump administration’s dismantling of protections in Alaska’s Tongass National Forest, the world’s largest intact temperate rainforest.
The U.S Department of Agriculture announced its intent to “repeal or replace” a Trump-era rule that obliterated protections for Tongass by lifting Clinton-era logging restrictions across 9.3 million forested acres and reclassifying 188,000 acres, including 168,000 acres of old-growth timber, as immediately suitable for harvesting…..”

Money Quote: “there had been a “premature push” to rule out the theory that the virus might have escaped from a Chinese government lab in Wuhan”.
Duh, what the lying sack of shit meant to say is there was a premature push to rule out the theory that the virus might have escape from a Chinese Military Bio-weapons lab in Wuhan.
‘The WHO Director Makes an About-Face on China’s COVID Narrative’
In a rare departure from his usual deference to powerful member countries, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said getting access to raw data had been a challenge for the international team that traveled to China earlier this year to investigate the source of COVID-19. The first human cases were identified in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
Tedros told reporters that the U.N. health agency based in Geneva is “asking actually China to be transparent, open and cooperate, especially on the information, raw data that we asked for at the early days of the pandemic.”
He said there had been a “premature push” to rule out the theory that the virus might have escaped from a Chinese government lab in Wuhan — undermining WHO’s own March report, which concluded that a laboratory leak was “extremely unlikely.”
“I was a lab technician myself, I’m an immunologist, and I have worked in the lab, and lab accidents happen,” Tedros said. “It’s common.”

Nets Skip WHO Boss Admitting They Rushed to Rule Out Wuhan Lab
“It also emerged today that the key WHO report into the origins of COVID, compiled with the help of China, contains serious errors.
Chief amongst them that the first family cluster identified in Wuhan – subject 1, 5, and 11 had all been going to the infamous wet market. That, it turns out, was simply not true. In fact, the family were different people altogether. And the data, they say, just got mixed up. It pours cold water on the theory that wet market was the source.
And almost unbelievably, the WHO stood by their report. “The WHO acknowledged the errors but claim they do not affect the conclusion,” Hall said.
“So, the WHO admitting their report was incorrect, admitting that they dismissed the lab leak theory too quickly, and admitting they did not have what they needed from China. All in all, it’s hard to know what can be believed,” Hall scoffed.
This all came after the networks came to the defense of the corrupt organization after Trump withdrew the United States and called them out.”

If you criticize me, you are criticizing science—-(paraphrase) Dr. Fork Tongue Fauci. What a pompous lying sack of shit.
‘What Did Fauci Know And When? His Emails Point To Panic, Lies, And A Possible Cover-Up
Fauci knew COVID-19 likely came from the Wuhan lab. He knew the virus ‘looked engineered.’ And he knew all this on February 1, 2020.
“Recently released e-mails show that Dr. Anthony Fauci knew key facts about the origins of COVID-19 in January 2020. But at that critical time, when the country was first learning about the virus, Dr. Fauci chose not to share the facts with Americans. Instead, he acted to conceal them.
On January 31, 2020, at 10:32 p.m., Dr. Fauci received an email from British researcher, Dr. Kristian Andersen. Dr. Andersen has received millions of dollars in grants from the NIH. In the email, he warned Dr. Fauci:

BT 8:01 – from the ‘What, me worry?’ gang – “I was a lab technician myself, I’m an immunologist, and I have worked in the lab, and lab accidents happen,” Tedros said. “It’s common.”
Oh yeah, shrug – “shit happens”.
Doesn’t matter if it was an accident or on purpose.
The CCP is liable for damages.
Emperor Xi just smiles. “Maybe our nukes can escape, too”
And Xi can count on his useful idiots like Paul to just continue to bang on the ‘blame Trump’ drum.
Maybe when Durham wraps up his current assignment, he’ll get right on an investigation of the Woohoo Flu origins.

“Good call Emery,, so instead of”drill baby drill” It’s ” burn baby burn”.”
Forests are a tricky thing I think. Do you manage them? Leave them completely alone? Fill them with house trailers and pretend to live in the ‘mountains’? Dunno. I admit that I’d like to see more interesting building materials than wood, but everything else has it’s failures too. I guess we’ll be treated to more (a) make wood harder to come by and (b) bitch about house prices.
Never heard of the Tongass (an unfortunate name) arguments.

My thoughts exactly when I saw Paul’s post last night. He has been challenged to come up with one good Biden has done…absent riding the prior Administration’s coattails. And he has by golly. Paul sees Biden’s timber order as good and he has come up with something. Bravo! And as a bonus, Paul disagrees with the current Administration’s call for mandated vaccines. Hold the presses!
To think I had lost all hope for the former news director. Maga Cappa.
