    For those interested in formal belief systems, absent concrete evidence to ‘prove’ the truth of a proposition (e.g. C19 came out a Wuhan virology lab), layers of available circumstantial evidence, as pointed out above, are still overwhelming in the Bayesian sense to push the truth of a proposition to as close to unity/certainty as anyone would demand for making subsequent decisions. I know this is kinda tricky to understand, but it is what it is.
