[Sparse postings are due to our being on travel now. We'll report on that later. Am still planning to compile a growing list of liberal/progressive public policies, initiatives, laws, regulations, taxes, tributes, fees, … that should demonstrate to all but the most mentally deficient that Democrats and their various auxiliaries (e.g. BLM, Antifa) are hell-bent on making America into a neo-Marxist state. It was quite a revelation that their grassroots constituents have no idea of this, and, instead, take umbrage at anyone suggesting such as being a rightwing conspiracy theorist. To them, no one is a Marxist, save they wear their hammer & sickle sweater in public. gjr]

Re the deficit during Trump’s term – we circled that barn a number of times to no avail. You give no indication in understanding the shares of the federal budget that goes for entitlements vs discretionary spending. The conversation is fruitless.

None the less Trump promised during the election that he would balance the budget ane pay off the national debt. Was he ignorant or was just lying when he made those promises? Also he promised that the tax cuts would pay for themselves and would balance out because the economy would boom creating the additional revenue that would compensate for the tax cuts. That also did not happen. Again was he lying when he promised that or was he ignorant?
He made those promises and they did not happen. Again to put it simple was he lying or just ignorant when he made those promises. Also why didn’t his financial advisors make him aware of what was going to be the result of his policies.
The bottom line is that the National Debt increased by 8 Trillion in just four years under Trump. That much is fact.

On Tuesday, Donohue “held his thumb and forefinger together with his other three fingers extended and palm facing inward, and he tapped his chest.” Donohue claims he was indicating that he’d won three games, and had gestured with one finger and two fingers to indicate previous wins.
However, the third time was not the charm. The Medium story claimed the move was similar to a gesture used by white power groups, alt-right groups, and the anti-government Three Percenters.

Well, after 50 years in Washington, three runs for the President, and a 8 year stint as VP, the words ‘generating enthusiasm’ just does not come to mind when one thinks of the words ‘Joe has never generated enthusiasm in his entire life. The census data proves beyond any reasonable doubt that people are fleeing the big Blue States in droves. When the quality of life goes down the crapper with criminals afforded more protection than victims, when taxes go up up and away for diminishing services…..well, folks have brains to use. When the going gets tough, the tough get going out of Blue Cities and Blue States. What more proof do you need?
I like AOC’s mom. Enjoyed a hard to find interview with her before AOC took office. She knows how to budget. The FIRST thing she did when she retired was move to Florida. She was paying $10,000/year property taxes for her place in NYC and prompty moved to Florida to move in with her aging aunt who pays 875 dollars for property taxes (US) for a modest home. Simply can’t afford 10k a year on her budget for property taxes….not to mention City and State taxes. She ain’t ever coming back.
Speaking of AOC, the NY Congressperson reminds me of the Former News Director. Ms. Cortez is the only waitress I ever heard of that brought nothing to the table.

Joe Biden can’t have it both ways. He said America is a systematic racist society and said America is a great country. WTF? Which one is it????
UNCLE TIM?
“Historically, giving the out-party’s response to a president’s speech to a joint session of Congress has been a thankless task. That is, in part, because the out-party’s response, typically delivered to a camera in a more or less empty room, looks lame compared to the excitement in the House chamber.
Last night may have been different, however. Joe Biden’s snoozefest generated no excitement in the near-empty House, and Senator Tim Scott, delivering the GOP’s response, hit back on the central point the Democrats want to press: Scott denied Biden’s claim that America is a “systemically racist” society.”

‘10 Racist Attacks On Tim Scott From So-Called Progressives’
“South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott delivered the Republican response to President Joe Biden’s first joint address to Congress Wednesday, offering a firm rebuke to the left’s vilification of the United States as an irredeemably racist empire built for the purpose to oppress.
“Just before COVID, we had the most inclusive economy in my lifetime,” Scott said, touting record progress for minorities in a nation millions continue to seek refuge in from around the globe.
The lowest unemployment ever recorded for African-Americans, Hispanics, and Asian-Americans. The lowest for women in nearly 70 years. Wages were growing faster for the bottom 25 percent than the top 25 percent. That happened because Republicans focused on expanding opportunity for all Americans.
Leftist online keyboard warriors, however, were less than enthusiastic that a black senator dissented from their claim that all black people and minorities are oppressed by a Republican Party supposedly infected with white supremacy……..”

Does Tim Scott’s life matter?
‘The Ugly Reaction to Tim Scott’s Speech Is Telling’
“Tim Scott gave a competent Republican response to Joe Biden’s mendacious speech last night. And boy, the contrived, hyperbolic outrage and derision we saw from liberal talking heads was something to behold.
Some of it was just farcical. Take MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace’s contention that the speech, in which Scott praised the Trump administration vaccines, was “delivered from a planet where facts don’t matter.” Operation Warp Speed, she claimed, “didn’t do anything to get a needle in the arms, so a lot of disinformation.” Well, it did help boost the life-saving innovation that flows through those needles – not to mention a million needles into arms every day by the time Joe Biden got his shot.
But Scott’s most controversial statement, allegedly, was to contend that, “America is not a racist country.” All the usual suspects took to social media to mock the senator for simultaneously saying the nation wasn’t racist and pointing out that he had personally experienced bigotry. Of course America is a racist nation, they wailed, before getting “Uncle Tim” trending on Twitter to try and prove it. The Left’s demeaning of any African American who strays from leftist orthodoxy is one of the ugliest acceptable smears in our political discourse.”

Tell it like is is! President Joey Bowels delivers speech from alien planet
‘Biden’s Dishonest Sales Pitch’
President Biden’s address to Congress connected only intermittently with reality.
“On his telling, every good thing that has happened in America since he took office — from vaccination to job creation — is a tribute to his wisdom, rather than a continuation of a trajectory set beforehand. All presidents say such stuff, and they all get away with it, although Senator Tim Scott made a valiant attempt to correct the record. Worse was the dishonesty of Biden’s sales pitch for his policies.
He insinuated that the ten-year ban on assault weapons had reduced the murder rate in the U.S. — something neither careful studies nor a casual look at the trends supports. He pretended that the Trump administration had ended successful efforts to control migration across our southern border, a brazen inversion of the truth. He claimed that the country supports federal legislation that would, among other things, ban states from verifying voters are who they say they are. Poll after poll says otherwise. He promised that Medicare could save hundreds of billions of dollars by cracking down on drugmakers. Not according to the Congressional Budget Office, it can’t.
Biden conjured a world in which there was no danger from unprecedented deficit spending, no possible adverse consequences from raising taxes on corporations and rich people, no spike in violent crime that needs attending, and no foreign threats that demand of us more than platitudes about leadership.
Even as he proposed one of the most radically Left policy agendas in American history, he continued to feign an eagerness to work with Republicans. “

OUR GARBAGE MEDIA AT WORK
The Washington Free Beacon has compiled a supercuts video displaying the judgments of prominent media gasbags on the speeches of President Joe Biden and Senator Tim Scott this past Wednesday evening. The Free Beacon provides this brief introduction:
The media’s adulation of President Biden was in full display after his first joint address to Congress Wednesday night. MSNBC’s Brian Williams drew attention multiple times to the president’s “extraordinary use of voice modulation.” CNN’s David Axelrod equated the speech to President Roosevelt’s fireside chats.
In a sharp pivot from the reviews of Biden’s speech, the response to Republican senator Tim Scott’s (S.C.) rebuttal was less than glowing. MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace said it was a “speech delivered from a planet where facts don’t matter,” and Joy Reid called it “disappointing” and said she was “shocked and a bit embarrassed” for Scott.
The video only runs a little over a minute. If you are familiar with the speeches and can view the video with detachment, you may find it funny.

“Isn’t America the least racist country? Who even competes? We’re by far the most integrated of any. America is becoming a land of spoiled rich kids who would rather die than admit how good they have it.” —Frank J. Fleming
And more Daily Quotes:
Insight: “There will never be a really free and enlightened State until the State comes to recognize the individual as a higher and independent power, from which all its own power and authority are derived, and treats him accordingly.” —Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)
Upright I: “The message we get today from the Biden administration is that the government needs to save people — that people are unable to help themselves. When people believe this message, they begin to lose their own agency, which can ultimately lead them to become helpless as a learned belief, and therefore always dependent on the government. While we should help those who need it, we need to do so in a way that leads to a productive outcome, as well as a strengthened belief in oneself and one’s ability to move forward under one’s own agency. We do need to work together, but not with the government in the lead or in control.” —Jackie Gingrich Cushman
Upright II: “We often hear or read arguments from the left about inner cities, such as Baltimore or Chicago, being examples of violence run amuck that highlight the need for more gun control. However, proponents of these measures don’t always want to deal with poverty, family breakdown, education or economic opportunities. When people are better educated, financially secure and are happy with their family life and their community outlook, they are more likely to be constructive members of society and less likely to go down a dangerous path. Today, there is clearly a lack of pride, security, belonging and ownership that is so fundamental to continued success of any society.” —Armstrong Williams
Upright III: “People who dwell on grievances are going to dwell on grievances for the rest of their lives. People who advocate a racially based curriculum are not teaching peace but a long line of complaints that can only increase hostility among the citizenry.” —R. Emmett Tyrrell
For the record: “Once they began to charge exorbitantly, educate poorly, politick continuously, indebt millions of people and act hypocritically, universities turned off Americans. Just as a sermonizing Hollywood grates when it no longer can make good movies, a once-hallowed but now self-righteous university seems hollow when it charges so much for so little.” —Victor Davis Hanson
The BIG Lie: “Operation Warp Speed didn’t do anything to get a needle in the arms.” —MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace
Race bait: “Our country’s foundation is one of genocide, capitalist inhumanity, and exploitation. We need to transform our country, uproot that foundation, and rebuild on our shared values of love, care, and equality.” —Congressman Jamaal Bowman
Lack of self-awareness: “Will our Republican colleagues start to listen to their constituents as well as the rest of the country? Or are they still the party of Donald Trump? A party that opposes the other side at all costs.” —obstructionist Senator Chuck Schumer
D’oh! “Biden could be as transformative a president as FDR. But FDR didn’t have to contend with a paranoid, xenophobic, racist opposition drenched in lies and extremist propaganda from right-wing media.” —former Labor Secretary Robert Reich (“More than 110,000 Japanese American prisoners were imprisoned during World War II in FDR’s internment camps, which opened in 1942.” —Mediaite)
Non compos mentis: “A rising group of right-wing U.S. Catholic bishops is colliding with a very Catholic president who supports abortion rights.” —The Washington Post

A story I have been following in the Euro press. A civil war looming in France?
Money quote: “It is easy to see that the time for hesitation is over. Otherwise, tomorrow, civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and there will be thousands of deaths, of which you will bear responsibility.”
WILL FRANCE SAVE WESTERN CIVILIZATION?
“Well the next shoe has dropped over in France. Earlier this week about 1,200 military officers, some retired but many still in active ranks, issued a statement decrying the “mortal danger” France faces from increasing violence from you-know-who. Our friends at the Claremont Institute posted a translation of the document, noting in their introduction:
Harris Interactive polling shows 58% of the French people support the letters’ signatories. Despite strenuous elite attempts to delegitimize even thinking such thoughts, 84% of those polled can see that violence in the country is increasing daily. A full 73% agree France is in decline.
Here’s the whole statement:”

These are not just former Generals and former military officers like we have on the USA media. No, many of these signatories are active military personnel. They are alarmed by the gang warfare types in France’s no-go zone ghettos. Of all the countries off the top of my mind, France alone has bore the lion’s share of constant Islamist terrorism. Everywhere one goes in France today, from the train stations to museums, soldiers with rifles slung from their shoulders are part of the normal scenery. Darn near everyplace where the public gathers or frequents.
In France no matter ones race, creed, origin, religion, beliefs, or non-beliefs, all are French. Not so with the Islamics.

From ‘Political Calculations’ 29 April 2021: Visualizing ICL’s Pandemic Model’s Failures.
https://politicalcalculations.blogspot.com/
“We called the failure of Neil Ferguson’s Imperial College London (ICL) epidemiological model to reasonably project the severity of the coronavirus pandemic The Biggest Math Story of 2020. Now, armed with a year of actual outcomes to compare with its projections, analysts are able to quantify just how badly off the mark it was.
The visualized results confirm Neil Ferguson’s ICL epidemiological model deviated anywhere from multiples to multiple orders of magnitude from reality. That matters because the ICL model was used to justify restrictive measures that harmed many people’s livelihoods and well-being. It will take years to recover from the resulting disruption.”
There are 2 bar graphs showing just how far off, using actual data, the guesses for March 2020 were. Don’t you feel so good when the experts determine what your fate will be? You are such stupid dolts, the experts always say.

I agree with you fish. Trump is the best thing that’s ever happened to the Dems. Because of him they won back the Presidency, House and Senate in a historic four years.
Keep up the good work in supporting you’re guy Trump .

The action is in the distraction, dilution is the solution. Trump, Trump, Trump. TDS trumps everything, pun deliberately included.
Man, they are really jonesing for their morning fix of Trump hatred. Like, life is meaningless, empty, and boring without it. And I thought the DTs were bad. I hadn’t seen nothing yet. Better they have TDS than me, for sure. As it is said, “It is better to give than to receive.” This brings me great pleasure and I am among good company. Thank Heaven for small favors.

Now, how can you determine that if you have already declared you aren’t going to keep a count?
Maybe the yapping Yorkie with the little paws waving in the air who claims to care sooooo much about lies can chime in?

Here’s your guy trump being described as “beyond pathetic” in a rant video from Mar-a-Lago. Follow the link I’m providing to see your guy in person if you don’t believe the post. He’s so pathetic it’s actually sad. But I hope he keeps going and destroys what’s left of the Republican Party.
“In a video posted to Twitter, former President Donald Trump can be seen standing before an unoccupied drum set addressing a small crowd from a stage at Mar-a-Lago and hinting that enough ballots may be found in the Arizona voting audit to change the 2020 presidential election.
Response to the clip of the former president, and now Mar-a-Lago resident, complaining about what he called a “rigged” election — five months after the fact — led to an avalanche of ridicule with one Trump critic saying the former president has now gone “beyond pathetic.”

Hmmm. Wonder what the current cast thinks of that skit (not that good or funny) of John Belushi in a pirate ship bar scene where all the ship’s pirate crew were dressed in gay black leathers. The name of the ship was ‘The Raging Queen’. The current cast has probably never seen it, being shielded from bad broken thinking and all. SNL has come a long way baby and they ain’t going back.
