Punchy, who once thought that abortions at 13 weeks (first trimester) was reasonable, as do probably a majority of folks. Maybe into the 2nd trimester for some.
But, but, but……Biden has moved all abortions out of legal constraints and into full blown day of birth abortions, moving the issue to women’s heath…you know, Doctor -Patient relationship. Except, you don’t need to be a real doctor to kill a 9 month old “blob of cells”. A woman’s heath issue now, not abortion. The constraints have been removed, and you have come a long way, baby….and you ain’t going back.
Yep, Joe Biden is doing a lot of good things. In fact, in Virginia you don’t even need to be a licensed medical aid to participate in the fun, fun, fun.baby killings. Just take the baby who survived the abortion or was birthed, set the infant on a cold steel tray, and discuss with the mother what to go with ‘it’.
Should we smash its head in with a hammer, Punch? The baby is lying there and no one is allowed to comfort ‘it’. Or, you can borrow one of my drills and you can bore holes in ‘its’ head. That sounds cool, eh Punch. I will even buy you a plane ticket (round trip, of course) so you can watch live and even participate to get your daily dose of hate and bloodlust satisfied. How cool is that. Like the kitty spilling the milk.
We don’t want to take away your pleasures and abortions, Punch. We just want “common sense abortion control.” Just like firearms. But, Biden was other ideas. Maybe he wants to confiscate our guns to put holes in fully developed ‘its’ heads….especially when they can survive outside the womb.
Paul Emery, I can see why you like Creepy Joe. He is doing a splendid job so far. 2 trillion for stimulus and two trillion for climate control. That’s 4 trillion proposed in two weeks. Hate to see what he has up his sleeve in his first 30 days, then the first 100 days, then…… Heck, I most certainly will let you know when Dementia Joe hits 8 trillion. He is getting close to be half way there, if enacted, in under 3 weeks, lol Time is of the essence. He had to get that 8 trillion more in debt within 2-3 years, before Kamala and Co invokes the 25th Amendment on the mentally unfit President.

“A judge in New York on Friday rejected Democrats’ claims that voting machine irregularities undercounted hundreds of votes for Rep. Ted Brindisi, a decision that means Republican challenger Claudia Tenney will be certified the winner of the election.
Lawyers for Brindisi had called for a hand recount of the 325,000-plus votes cast in the House race, arguing that irregularities with voting machines used in Oswego County had undercounted hundreds or thousands of votes for Brindisi.”

IT is amazing to me that you are incapable of seeing the logical fallacy in your statements Walt.
No one ever said that the Trump campaign could not claim voting fraud, or challenge a particular states results; the position is that if they do make that claim they must provide proof, exactly the same standard that Mr. Brindisi was held to.
That is kind of what the rule f law means.

And discussing elections, a more prudent path would be that the government needs to prove that the election was flawless. Putting the burden on the candidates to prove fraud is an improper burden shifting when we were talking about the foundational aspects of our democracy.

re BarryP 959am – I tend to agree with Barry. Governments are charged with and enabled to conduct elections that follow their own established formal procedures (many arcane). To certify their own election processes they should make public a punch list of all the steps/actions that were confirmed to have followed their formal election workflows. Such a revelation allows those contesting the election to focus in on the specific workflow task(s) that can then be falsified with presented evidence, ie. shown NOT to have taken place as certified. Without such transparency, we have the large scale muddle of today where bureaucrats can claim a clean election simply because it was nigh impossible to penetrate any of it sufficiently to falsify the parts that were performed incompletely or incorrectly.

Well of course you agree with Barry…the problem is you guys have absolutely no reliable evidence that there is any wide spread voter fraud the even begins to reach levels where it could affect the outcome of an election. I could cite study after study that shows voter fraud occurs in such an infinitesimally small number of cases that it is almost laughable.
By continuing to insist there is a problem where one does not exist, and doing so for years, you are actually just trying to create the conditions where unreasonable barriers can be put between the people and their right to vote.
The reality is that both of you know that the types of barriers that many reactionary Republican led state governments are putting in place fall disproportionately on low income communities (who in many cases are communities of color) and act to suppress voter participation amongst these groups.
“To certify their own election processes they should make public a punch list of all the steps/actions that were confirmed to have followed their formal election workflows.” This is a particularly duplicitous statement because it assumes that election boards and officials do not make their processes transparent, or if there are problems with the level of transparency that there is not a process to secure it, which there is, law and the courts.
Under the guise of pretending you want transparency what you really want to do is to suppress the votes of low income voters (who in many cases are communities of color) because you know that conservatives would not be elected any other way in the near future due to demographic change.
“Now is when you say, “Hey, Steve is pretending he knows what we mean,” and claim that your motives are just some pure patriotic objective, to which I say, do you really think that people are so stupid that they cannot see the truth?
Your positions are the opposite of democracy.

The National Commission on Federal Election Reform recommended certain standards to elections. They are very good ideas and should be considered. Voter ID, no drop boxes, no universal mail-in ballots, preventing registrations in multiple states. In other words, integrity of the system is paramount. These policies advocated by Leon Panetta and Jimmy Carter and other prominent democrats are not designed to have a disparate impact on anyone. They are designed to insure faith in the system. Such faith preserves democracy and the republic. Apparently Frisch and Cross know more than their democrat brethren…or they seek to undermine our democratic system in an effort to destabilize the USA in order to achieve transition to a communist system.

George 12:43– you are playing your usual game of semantics. Semantics is a third level argument to be used only when all else fails like factual evidence. Very little in the way of human endeavor is “flawless”. However the last election was proven, in courts across the land to be without any flaws sufficient enough to warrant even a hearing at the level of the SCOTUS. The legal system, that was created to interpret such events, has spoken very loudly by rejecting all of the election based lawsuits without comment (other than disgust) filed by trump’s clownish partisan attorneys. That’s good enough for me. I trust the legal system more than I trust a bunch of crackpot old white men’s partisan opinion such as Mayor Rudy, you and yours.
the future according to people who think like Barry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_concentration_camps
“they seek to undermine our democratic system in an effort to destabilize the USA in order to achieve transition to a communist system.” thats right Barry. democrats from all over the country showed up in DC on 1/6 in an attempt to undermine our democratic system and install communism. (fyi: the Cold War ended decades ago and one of the US’s biggest trading partner is those damn Chicoms)……..How is it possible for you to talk about your apparent lack of ‘faith in the system’ which is based solely on lies and propaganda promulgated by the biggest liar in the history of the country, Donald Trump? You all didn’t scream about election integrity when the FBI investigated Russia-gate.. you all screamed baloney.
There are intelligent people on the planet that think that some form of global cooperation is what is necessary to solve or mitigate global problems that need solutions that go beyond the isolationist ideals of pre WWI America. Isolationism failed a hundred years ago and will fail again. The ‘red scare’ tactic is a ploy to prevent that from happening in order tp protect wealth not people. Ten billionaires have made enough additional money during the pandemic to pay for vaccinating the entire world.. why don’t they.. this doesn’t even cut into their pre-covid wealth…

I don’t think that states can violate their own laws. We are a nation of laws chosen by the people. I know that you are now going to start on your tirade about the courts which never heard these issues as they were nearly all dismissed on procedural grounds. I understand why the courts don’t want to get involved. Too much politics for the courts. And I think that they were right to stay out. That said and as a lawyer, I don’t need a judge to tell me that Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and Georgia violated their own laws. It is obvious when you read the complaints. The facts are nearly undisputed. Now it is up to then people to fix the laws.

The federal government has too much power already. The states (i.e. the people) need to fix it locally. Our local elected local officials should be responsible enough to do it and for the people to hold them accountable. That’s how the system is supposed to work. Washington will just mess it up and play politics.

Our ‘position’ is that we would like to have honest, open, fair elections. I take it from your repetition of assertions that the case for election fraud and irregularities was without merit, that you really have no evidence to cite that backs up the assertions. Just to show how any piece of the plaintiff’s complaint was wrong, in error, or even fraudulent would go a long way to bolster the courts simply asserting the evidence had ‘no basis’ and the plaintiffs having ‘no standing’.
I’m not sure that you are really qualified to even identify a game of semantics, let alone participate in one.

Walt @9:05 pm
Perhaps a better Biden Challenge than the one offered by Dr. Rebane would be to name ONE foreign policy that President Biden ever ever got right. It would make the memory search less taxing as it is more specific and covers only one aspect of the total of all the things Biden has done to benefit anything besides himself and family.
After we found Saddam Hussein Obama….er….Saddam Hussein hiding in the spider hole, Creepy Joe’s bright idea, which he stated confidently and unequivocally was to……drumroll please…..was to divide Iraq into three countries. That would bring peace and stability to the region, lol. Imagine Baghdad fighting the new north country for their former oil reserves and revenues and image the new south country which is filled with Iranian Revolutionary Guards not being swallowed up by Iran. And that is just one great foreign policy proposal from Joe Biden.
Joe Biden has never been on the right side of any foreign policy he initiated. Heck, when he bought his house and land he could not afford, Joe sold off a parcel that his driveway was on. The new owner blocked it off, so he put another driveway in, routing it to his home. Then he sold another parcel off and that lot contained his newer driveway. Finally, Joe had to put in another driveway to get to his abode, this time a narrow muddy drive. Then Joe Biden, our President, decided to move the swimming pool in his back yard over 20 feet. “Move the swimming pool” as astute Joe said. Put the swimming pool over there and the driveway way way over there, ROFLMAO. And the pool at his other house was where he paraded naked in front of the Secret Service, especially a biological born female agent on many occasions. She was not amused, but, hey, that’s just Joe.
And, Walt, get this: The VP has the ‘football’ wherever he travels, just like the Prez. In Biden’s case as VP, he did not allow the SS van carrying the nuke football to be parked in his driveway or in front of the house. He didn’t want all these Secret Service vehicles parked in front of his Delaware home or in the driveway. So, the van carrying the codes and football had to park over a half mile away. So, in the event of a real mega national emergency, the football was 60 seconds away, down the street, when seconds count. The head of the SS tried to convince Joe Biden that this was not a good plan he came up with, but Joe knew better and said,”Come on, man.”

Before you go off in a sputter about Bidens foreign policy remember he supported your guy Bush in going to war with Iraq, something you’ve supported everytime the topic has been brought up. He was on your side with that one. By the way, Obama voted against the war which, by the way, cost us trillions of dollars.

What is your opinion about how all the recounts in the election revealed no problems? Also if hundreds of thousands of votes were fraudulent, as Trump contends, what about all the other votes on the same ballot, many of which voted for Republican Senators and Representatives. If they were on the same ballot should they also not have been counted? How can you have it both ways. I fail to see the methodology that would isolate the alleged fraudulent votes from the acceptable legitimate ones on the same ballot

If I recall correctly, you were most upset about Trump pulling out of Syria because then we would not be protecting the born female Kudish fighters, a specific group
you donated your non-hard earned money to.
I understand your desire to get back in Syria with skin in the game and protecting your investment and all.
Good news! Biden is taking us back into Syria, a mess that Obama got us into. Boy, the illiberals and war mongers got all fired up when Trump pulled us out, save a couple hundred troops to moniter and protect an outpost.
Yep, Obama announced has was bringing our troops home from Afganistan and Iraq, something Obama boldly promised but only President Trump had the oxnards to accomplish.
Well, almost accomplished. Left 2,500 of our boys in Afganistan (the “good war” per local lefties) and 2,000-2,500 troops in Iraq. That means Biden’s swearing-in non ceremony was guarded by 5X the troops we have in those shithole countries combined, plus Syria. Panic porn much?, lol.

Yep, when you confuse TDS with BDS….well, they are interchangeable in the deteriorating melon. Progressive and irreversible.
It is awesome watching the Lefties with TDS rushing to defend a Cheney. Fact is stranger than fiction.

Sure as hell did Emery, and look what he got done. Our troops kicked ass. Get the LIB lawyers out of the way and see what gets accomplished? All that terrorist ass kicking stayed out of the news.(no way would the proggy press give Trump an ounce of credit.) Trump got peace deals. You did hear that news,, right Emery? You do have your record player on to get the latest…. Right? Biden told you to do that. Remember?
When the donkey riders broke their peace deal, Trump released the dogs of war to remind those that deals are meant to be kept. No,, you didn’t hear that either.
Then he brought most home.. And you were pissed.
