   LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan election officials on Monday certified Democrat Joe Biden’s 154,000-vote victory in the state, another setback for President Donald Trump in his futile effort to undermine the results of the Nov. 3 election through baseless legal challenges and unsupported claims of fraud.
   The Board of State Canvassers, which has two Republicans and two Democrats, confirmed the results on a 3-0 vote with one abstention. Allies of Trump and losing GOP Senate candidate John James had urged the panel to delay voting for two weeks to audit votes in heavily Democratic Wayne County, home to Detroit.
   Under Michigan law, Biden claims all 16 electoral votes. Biden won by 2.8 percentage points — a larger margin than in other states where Trump is contesting the results like Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
   Some Trump allies had expressed hope that state lawmakers could intervene in selecting Republican electors in states that do not certify. That longshot bid is no longer possible in Michigan.
   “The people of Michigan have spoken. President-elect Biden won the State of Michigan by more than 154,000 votes, and he will be our next president on January 20th,” Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, said in a statement, saying it’s “time to put this election behind us.”

    Gregory, morning.
    I have sung Sidney Powell’s praises, albeit it was several years ago, after her great book ‘License to Lie‘, exposing the heavy hand of federal prosecutors, their tactics and forked tongue, and seeking convictions at any costs rather than seeking the truth. That was a few years ago that I sang her praises, but can’t really remember when was the last time I mentioned her, but I do recall one of the sock puppets at the time agreed with me.
    Interesting that Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor herself, got Judge Emmet Sullivan to throw out the case against Arthur Anderson (Enron days) and had the conviction overturned.
    Another interesting thing about the Trump legal team is no one on board (as far as I know) has a long thick resume of election law practice. Sidney Powell’s expertise is as a appellant court lawyer (and prosecutor).
    Like so many in the Russian Hoax, she has gone from hero to zero when tarred with the brush of being associated with Trump. They did the same thing to so many, including R T McFarland.
    Anyway……it was me who sung her praises back then when she exposed judges and congressmen turning a blind eye to Lady Justice and especially the shocking abuse of power by the FBI and federal prosecutors….like Andrew Weissman….before Trump even decided to run for POTUS. Her record speaks for itself, until know.
