    The great tragedy of this election season is that in the case of a Biden victory (obviously, this could go either way at this point), this whole coup attempt will shoot down the memory hole with a sonic boom. I realize this has been said before, but someone really needs to go to jail.
    Given the ability of the bureaucracy to protect itself, it’s prime directive is to seize and hold power after all, I never expected much, but the whole situation is goddamned embarrassing for the US system of law enforcement. I expect that the rot is so deep that it really needs a re-do. It’s in the nature of organizations to grow until they collapse.

    The National Federal of Independent Business said Tuesday its optimism index rose 3.8 points to 204, a level it last reached in January. That is among the highest readings recorded in the closely watched gauge of business confidence.
    Economists had expected the index to more or less hold steady near last month’s reading of 100.2. The range of estimates was between 99 and 102, so this was twice as strong as the most bullish forecast.

    Funny how those numbers look –
    It is not exaggeration to say Trump rallies look like rock concerts while Biden rallies look like family funerals in the age of the coronavirus.
    Had you told me a year ago Biden would generate less enthusiasm than Hillary, I would have laughed in your face. But it’s true. The examples are endless and without exception.
    Also in the department of It’s not just about the feelz, the Washington Examiner’s Byron York compiled a list of datasets that tell us the polls could once again be wrong…
    It’s not a small thing that 56 percent of registered voters in a recent Gallup poll say, despite the coronavirus, they are better off now than they were when Trump took office.
    Only 45 percent said that in 2012 when Barry Obama was re-elected. Only 47 percent said that in 2004 when George W. Bush was reelected. Only 44 percent said that in 1984 when Ronald Reagan was reelected.
    When George H.W. Bush lost his reelection in 1992 — and he’s the last president to lose reelection — only 38 percent said they were better off.
    What’s more, this same Gallup poll found that 49 percent of voters agree with Trump on the issues, compared to just 44 percent for Biden.
    Trump just can’t hide how he feels. Take this for what it’s worth, but he truly thinks he’s winning, and not because he’s deluded himself into believing he’s winning. That’s something else he doesn’t do — fool himself on an issue as important as winning or losing. You always-always-always know if he thinks he’s winning or losing, and his temperament is a pretty accurate barometer of whether he truly is or not.
    Biden is the guy acting like a loser. He’s grumpy, short-tempered… That could just because he’s 198-years-old and his mind is going and he has to Skype with people like Kamala Harris.
    Trump’s a happy warrior.

    Without reading this article or yours, I have a feeling no one will go to jail, except maybe the FBI lawyer who purposefully altered an e-mail to say (to the FISA court that Carter Page was NOT an CIA asset which he was…..and he also worked with the FBI previously to nab a corrupt Russian banker looking for recruits new in the good old USA that were well versed US banking laws and how our banking systems operate. Insider stuff. Carter Page had previously worked with the CIA giving them heads ups.
    With that one lawyer aside (and McCabe) no one will be prosecuted. The big wigs can say they just misinterpreted the fake reports, and then face a DC grand jury that will not convict someone who tried to skew the election for Hillary. And the jury will never harm anyone who tried to save us from Orange Man Bad, the law be damned. Nullification. That’s what a good DOJ and it’s prosecution MUST weight before indictments or pursuing a case. They are forbidden from prosecuting any case they are not certain of conviction. That’s called justice. That’s called Bill Barr. Heck, he wrote a lot of the standards and practices for the FBI/DOJ when he was in the Office of Legal Counsel. It’s called going by the book. He knows it inside and out, as does Durham. Anyway….
    They all will walk…probably. Likely. It depends on who wins the election. Andrew Cuomo as AG. He will give Durham a gold watch and show him the door. Just a feeling. Oh, good link.
