After careful deliberations for 0.00163 nanoseconds, I came to the conclusion that the Left hates Betsy Devos much more. Must be their opinion of due progress that draws their ire.    Van Grack’s withdrawal marks a major victory for Flynn and for his new attorney, Sidney Powell, who have secured the release in recent days of exculpatory evidence showing that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) may have targeted Flynn.
   Documents released last week show the FBI deliberating about whether their real goal in meeting Flynn in January 2017 at the White House was to obtain the truth, or to have him prosecuted or fired.
   Senior FBI officials used the pretext of an informal meeting to set Flynn up — without informing him that he was a target of investigation.
   The “crime” for which he had been probed was violating the Logan Act of 1799, a statute preventing private citizens from conducting diplomacy. It is almost never enforced, and Flynn arguably had not violated it in any case, since he was incoming National Security Adviser when he had conversations with foreign officials, including the Russian ambassador.
   Furthermore, text messages released last week reveal that the FBI had found no evidence of any wrongdoing by Flynn. On Jan. 4, 2017, the FBI drafted a memo to close the case — until agent Peter Strzok intervened, saying that senior leadership wanted the investigation to remain open.
   The next day, Jan. 5, then-FBI Director James Comey met with President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and other senior officials in the White House. Comey was told to brief President-elect Donald Trump the next day (Jan. 6) about the contents of the false “Steele dossier,” which was then leaked to the media.
   Flynn’s original lawyers, from the Covington and Burling firm — where Obama’s former attorney general, Eric Holder, is a partner — negotiated a plea bargain in which he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.
   Powell told Breitbart News Sunday that evidence had emerged to show that the FBI had agreed not to pursue charges against Flynn’s son if Gen. Flynn pleaded guilty — a deal that had not been properly disclosed.

    Well, the same cast of lawyers and prosecutors who that believe in convictions ahead of justice got Ted Stevens from Alaska out of the way. Without Stevens there, Obamacare would have been one vote shy. SCOTUS overturned that one too. The Weissman Way.

    And throughout, there was distorted video and audio that some on social media likened to transmissions coming in via a dial-up modem.

    Granell play Schiff for brains like fiddle –
    An intelligence community source told Breitbart News that Schiff was caught attempting to weaponize the information through selective and partial releases, but Grenell’s actions forced his hand and made him release them all in full. In a letter first reported by the Washington Examiner’s Byron York earlier this week, Grenell informed Schiff that the documents were ready for release.
    Grenell wrote to Schiff in the May 4 letter:
    All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material. I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your committee’s unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible.
    Schiff had been, the intelligence source told Breitbart News, planning to selectively release the documents to try to frame his narrative instead of the one the documents show, which is that several key players in the investigation knew early on in the process that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.
    Schiff’s change of course, the intelligence source noted, is easily evidenced by the fact that ODNI released the same documents Schiff did “minutes earlier” on Thursday night.
    What’s more, this may keep getting worse for Schiff. Fox News’s Ed Henry on Thursday evening also reported that more documents may be forthcoming in the coming days, citing sources who witnessed Grenell hand-delivering documents to the Justice Department earlier in the day.

    I think it’s more crude than that. For the Blue Mob part of the Democratic Coalition (as apart from the La Razans, yer local mosque, crooked black urban politicians, and other identity groups), it’s simply about using whatever tools are at hand to bulldoze the opposition.
    Nothing can be tolerated that gets in the way of more progressiveness. What in the heck is progressive thought at this point? So far as I can tell it’s Western Civilization turned inside out. Not really nihilism since they plan a sort of yet-to-be-designed utopia, but a more universal form of Emerianism, not just anti-Trumpism as a defining point, but anti-West.
