[Feliz Cinco de Mayo compadres!  And re Corona beer about which you've all heard the story?  You haven't?  Well, they had a big international beer judging competition in Munich to which all the major and wannabe brewers sent their various brews for judging and receiving the prestigious awards.  The Corona folks also sent their finest.  A couple of weeks passed and when the award ceremonies were over, the Corona folks had heard nothing, not even an email acknowledging their entry.  So they inquired, and the next day they got a reply from a German vet in Munich that read 'I was forwarded the specimen you submitted, and am sorry to inform you that your horse has diabetes.' ;-)  gjr]

‘FLASHBACK: NBC Prez Declared We Are Winning War With White House (Fired One Week Later)’
Usually, our NewsBusters FLASHBACK items showcase liberal news media examples a little older than a week. But this one is too good to forget. On April 27, NBC News President Andy Lack published a haughty op-ed for the network’s website Think. It was titled, “Journalism is under attack from coronavirus and the White House. But we’re winning.”
One week after this op-ed was published, Lack was fired by NBC News.

If you call that winning, then you know why we call you losers.
Time to get the wood chipper tuned, lubed, gas up with fresh petro, and ready to go for another busy silly season.
Hmmm. Fish is right. Melting and losing look alike. “I’m melting, I’m losing, all my beautiful wickedness is melting.” Loser.

This article should be called ‘The Week in Review’ because it hits on the major stories of this past week. And oh boy, what a week it was.
January 5, 2017: A Day that Should Live in Infamy
“Once again, Obama makes a statement about law which is demonstrably false. In fact, not once to my recalling has he ever made a statement about the law that is correct.”

billt: “Guess that’s why SARS 2.0-19 Chanel #5 is called a ‘new’ virus.”
I was just thinking about that yesterday. I was listening to a streaming Art Bell channel on the ol’ web radio and he and the guest were going on and on about ‘coronaviruses’ and animal to human transmission in Chinese wet markets and a buncha dead people (9% of those infected I see) and a huge problem & cetera. Kind of funny for a nearly 20 year old show.

But then really, how is that different from our own local ‘business’ nonprofit who is interested in ‘holistic frameworks’ and who ‘harnesses these opportunities by implementing projects that model proactive change’. The names of the organizations belie their purpose, and it’s hard to blame anyone for following the green in green organizations. As long as the funding comes from private individuals, I salute them. There’s a certain entrepreneurship in running a ‘non-profit’ that I can appreciate.

    donb link: “https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2020/05/09/establishment-cutting-visa-workers-is-madness-bad-for-diversity/”
“The plan “would deepen the economic trouble that we’re in, since most of these [H-1B] visas go to high-skilled people who can’t be replaced overnight,” said another tweet for Reichlin-Melnick, a policy advocate at the American Immigration Council.”
lol. You know, there actually is the occasional highly skilled person who comes in under those visas. Trust me, 99% of the time it’s all about dropping the prevailing wage and often with sketchy results.
Oh well, in the ‘rightwaging’ of the US, it all comes down to one man with his twitter machine and The Deplorables vs. the Blue Mob, George W. Bush, and multinational corporations. You’d sure hate to see a USA with market-rate incomes for citizen engineers and (gasp) farm workers.

You need to pick up a copy of “Spillover” by David Quammen. The first SARS outbreak described (this isn’t all that the book covers…..the sections on AIDS and Ebola are riveting) is a near carbon copy of our current COVIDtacular!

Poor Bill: last night going on about Andy Lack getting fired from NBC because his propaganda outlet newsbusters org said so.
He probably believes the Plandemic Conspiracy
And listens to OAN network propaganda like this below. And Little Donny Jr is investing heavily in OAN for the Trump takeover.
