[Just happened to visit Nevada County Voices, an info website run by our favorite climate catastrophe czarina, Dr Anna Haynes. It appears that since the passing of Russ Steele, RR remains as the sole active 'rightwing' website in these parts. On her resourceful site we are properly relegated to the extreme right column that is off-page, so it will not surprise and offend the more sensitive eyes of her polite company visitors (a trigger warning pointer is provided). I continue to note over the years that Dr Haynes' political spectrum remains one-winged. Nowhere are her voluminous lists of left-leaning sites so identified. I suppose all of those are like our self-proclaimed centrists Bob Crabb and George Boardman – politically vanilla, untinged and untrammeled by any shade of partisanship. It seems common in the Blue Mob to use the word ‘liar’ to apply to someone who is uninformed, flat wrong for some other reason, doesn’t quite meet Blue Mob theoretician muster, is inaccurate, promotes an untruth for personal gain, etc.
‘Racist’ and ‘supremacist’ have expanded in scope while other more accurate words have disappeared.
‘Vile’ and ‘ilk’ are part of their newly shortened English dictionary.
There’s probably something clever a data compression guy could do to really shorten a Blue Mob screed. Whole sentences could be expressed as a couple of bits.
Perhaps it’s just a lack of literacy combined with the ability to just blurt out any old thing at a distance. Using short and punchy words (probably not a surprise) gives you that endorphin rush while getting a quick dose of virtual signalling to similar thinkers.
It’s a kind of KVMR Tourette’s.

Schumer knew that the Left, including the monolithically leftist and pro-abortion news media, would have his back. Reporters and pundits did everything they could to paper over Schumer’s scandal. They said it was Republicans who started it, by tearing down “norms.” They said Schumer’s comments were less bad than President Trump’s criticisms of certain court decisions. And the next day, when Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell addressed his floor speech to the controversy, the media said McConnell was “set to pour gasoline on the controversy.”
To the news media, the real story was not Schumer’s gaffe or his vicious doubling down on it. Or his ignoble non-apology apology that only made liars out of allies who put their own integrity on the line to defend him a few hours earlier.
No, the real story was that evil Republicans’ ugly partisanship was dragging good, virtuous Democrats down with them. To the Left, progressives never make mistakes, never owe apologies, and should never suffer political consequences.

If Biden’s the Nominee, Might He Pick Michelle Obama as His Vice President?
“Everyone with whom I discussed a potential Michelle Obama candidacy said it would provide short-term pluses for a Democratic ticket by energizing it as nothing else could. Much of the media would be ecstatic and provide their normal fawning coverage of an Obama. But her presence on the ticket would probably create problems as well as opportunities for the Democrats. Regardless, party members worried about Biden’s shaky campaigning skills and performance would cling to the choice of Michelle Obama like a life raft.”

I assume it’s just human nature. Aside from the echo chamber everyone hits on the internet, especially folks who live and breathe politics (there’s always That Guy who seems to spend 100% of his time on Facebook putting up some third party anti-Trump op-ed every hour or so), there’s a natural tendency to double down.
By that I mean if you spent months talking RussiaRussiaRussia and it turns out there’s nothing there, you can either admit you were wrong or you can simply remember the outrage, increase it, and find a new target. Yesterday’s Constitutional Law expert is today’s epidemiologist.
When all else fails you can fall back on the old chestnut about how all them city mice (where the banks, insurance companies, and brokerage houses live) subsidize them country mice (where the farms, resource extraction, and remaining manufacturing live).
Michelle, black author of: “Princeton Educated Blacks and the Black Community” (surprisingly), is the obvious choice of course. This assumes she is willing to handle the back-breaking work of the campaign trail. No need to have a concept of policy, there’s an Obama mafia able to type out teleprompter scripts. The surveillance industrial complex is good at that. The small handful of Democrats (Warren and Bernie?) that can actually speak off the cuff will be ground up under the wheels of the establishment.
I figure that they might as well cut to the chase and put Alexa vs Tay up as candidates.
