Señor Julian Castro has decided that “it simply isn’t our time”, and put discretion before valor to re-engage at another time.  I see this as a more than interesting commentary on the voting (ideological?) preferences of our Hispanic-American citizens.  They seem to have a broader view of governance and economics than that only filtered by ethnicity.  We have now passed the dropout halfway point of our original slate of candidates.

And Williamson has laid off here entire campaign staff. With the Iowa Primary just one month and one day away, how many debates are they going to cram in before the big event….and who will tell us if we missed them? 🙂
Castro was just another angry Hispanic. His mother started the La Raza chapter in San Antonio. Apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
He is blaming the DNC for rigging it against him. Not fair. The standards should be lowered, I reckon. Be that as it may, I say take a number and stand in line…with Spartacluz and the Bernie Bros. The Dems hate fair elections.

With Julian’s withdraw from the race, .000001% of the American people felt disappointed.

Castro was the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Obama. As such, it was Castro who pushed the Affirmative Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) agenda, including radical regulations. Involving, as it does, moving people to and from neighborhoods, and even cities and towns, based on their race, AFFH marries authoritarianism with identity politics in a particularly evil way.
Castro’s other claim to fame was his insistence that illegal border crossings be decriminalized. It thus gives me pleasure to see him drop out of the race only one month before the Iowa caucuses.

Allow me to repeat myself. Involving, as it does, moving people to and from neighborhoods, and even cities and towns, based on their race, AFFH marries authoritarianism with identity politics in a particularly evil way.

BillT 930am – Thank you Mr Tozer for those good and necessary points about Castro, but could you also provide for our readers a citation about the AFFH?

    Dr. Rebane.
AFFH is not about discrimination in housing but all about segregation in communities. Thus the plans to build low income housing in more affluent communities is to end segregated neighborhoods by housing in both the inner cities and in the bedroom communities. A movement of people, if you perfer.
