    U.S. Navy patrols to the Black Sea have remained consistent over the last several years despite testimony during President Donald Trump’s impeachment hearings that he ordered the maneuvers be canceled.
    A U.S. military official told Military Times that a U.S. naval ship had entered the Black Sea seven times in fiscal 2017, eight times in fiscal 2018, and eight times as of mid-November 2019.
    Christopher Anderson, a U.S. foreign service officer, testified before lawmakers that Trump had ordered the Black Sea patrols be canceled after seeing a report on CNN about the U.S. naval movements in the contentious waters in January.
    But those patrols were never canceled and they have remained consistent under Trump’s tenure in the White House. The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer Ross patrolled the Black Sea in December, making it the eighth time a U.S. warship visited the Black Sea in 2019.
    “Throughout the year, U.S. 6th Fleet assets have operated in the Black Sea in support of our regional partners and allies,” Vice Adm. Lisa M. Franchetti, the commander of U.S. 6th Fleet said in news release. “Ross’ transit demonstrates our continued commitment to security and stability in the maritime domain.”

    The district of Rep. Justin Amash, I-Mich., also faced a shift after he left the GOP and became a fierce critic of the president, supporting his impeachment in the House. That district, which had been a tossup, was since leaning Republican, the report showed.
    “This is totally backfiring on the Democrats and I think Nancy Pelosi let this get way out in front of her,” Reschenthaler said of the report. “We have to remember that the far-left social-justice Democrats are running this party now but we are seeing that Trump is up in my home state of Pennsylvania. He’s leading the Democrat contenders, sometimes by double digits… and in all those battlegrounds where Democrats hold seats where Trump won, I think we can get a lot of those seats back and take back the House in 2020.”
    National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Emmer shared a similar sentiment this past October, saying Democrats have been so irrationally focused on impeaching Trump they will hand the House of Representatives back to the GOP.

    I’ll pass out my own entry (and it won’t cost you a thing) for the ” Democrat/lamestream Big Lie”, although it’ll only start ramping up and continue after New Years.
    1) Impeach the President in the House.
    2) Leave the impeachment open (ie. don’t send it to the Senate).
    3) Invent a Big Lie/Imaginary Rule that Presidents under impeachment can’t nominate Supreme Court Justices.

And the Ukrainians were looking into why Hunter, as a compensated board member, was charging the company 118k/month for his American consulting firm services to himself. Unusual experience for a board member. Just saying. No worries. That guy got fired. 🙂

    Gosar has been a congressman for Arizona since 2011, and is a staunch conservative and supporter of President Donald Trump. He is known for falsely accusing the Obama administration of being an “accessory” to murder; calling for Capitol Police to arrest undocumented immigrants attending Trump’s State of the Union; peddling a conspiracy theory that liberal Jewish billionaire George Soros funded the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia; and boycotting Pope Francis’ address to Congress over the pope’s climate change advocacy.
    Gosar has also been a loud conservative voice in railing against Trump’s impeachment, accusing Democrats of conducting a “secret kangaroo court” to remove the president from office. The congressman went on an anti-impeachment rant that was 23 tweets long, embedding into his messages the phrase: “Epstein didn’t kill himself.”
    This is an Arizona Freedom Caucus U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar who tweeted this thinking it’s funny. The U.S. Congressman whose own family begged #AZ04 to not vote for their *wackadoodle dentist brother as John McCain called it.
    Six of Gosar’s nine siblings appeared in a video last year endorsing their brother’s opponent ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, criticizing the congressman’s character, morals and politics. Seven of them wrote a letter to the editor to the Kingman Daily Miner in 2017 to denounce Gosar for pushing the Charlottesville conspiracy.
    “This is a matter of right and wrong, not politics,” his siblings wrote. “We are aghast that Paul has sunk so low that he now spews the most despicable slander against an 87-year-old man without a shred of proof, and then doesn’t even have the guts or decency to apologize?”
