   In the long years of RR, we cannot count the number of times leftwingers have discovered a national news item, widely held opinion, or meme on these pages and attributed it something that I made up or exclusively believe. Why? Because the ‘news’ they consume is highly filtered and edited to support only one narrative – they have no idea of what all is going on in the national debate. House rules do not require a vote to begin an impeachment inquiry, but it remains unclear whether the courts will agree that an impeachment inquiry has begun without such a vote. There is no record of someone from the Left informing RR readers of something of which they were unaware, but plenty of postings of my being credited with introducing and commenting on an idea that was already in the national debate. That is the real evidence of how comprehensive are our respective news sources.

    Some great photos of American forces pulling off to the side of the road to allow Russian and Turk troops by on their way to slaughter some Kurds. Friends of Trump apparently love this stuff. Trump’s decision to dump the Kurds just like he dumps anything else that isn’t convenient or profitable at the moment is gut wrenching to anyone with any sense of pride.

    WASHINGTON — The first year for the military exercise Defender Pacific will be smaller in size than its sister drill in Europe in 2020, but it will still be one of the largest exercises conducted by the U.S. Army and its partners and allies in the region since Team Spirit drills in South Korea ended in the early 1990s, according to acting U.S. Army Pacific Commander Lt. Gen. John “Pete” Johnson.
    The Army will flow roughly 12,000 soldiers into the region next year around September for the exercise, Johnson told Defense News in an interview ahead of the Association of the U.S. Army’s annual conference.
    The exercise will consist of many things the Army has not practiced at such a large scale. Forces will be in countries like the Philippines and Thailand, and they will likely work with other countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
    The Army also plans to conduct parts of the exercise with other partners “like our compact states, Papua New Guinea, etc.” to deliver the force forward, Johnson said. The compact states consist of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and Palau.
    The exercise will aim to challenge the U.S. in its ability to deploy from the continental U.S., Johnson said. “The tyranny of distance is real from the continental United States into this region, and it takes a tremendous amount of effort to do that.”
    Defender Pacific “will go a long way to enable our joint logistics enterprise, to itself, and for us to train on those key force projection tasks to be able to flow forces into theater,” he said, “ and then once into theater, we’re essentially connecting to our existing bilateral relationships.”

    Forces on the ground are expected to execute missions and train with allies. The Army rescheduled some exercises traditionally held during different times of the year to fall under Defender Pacific “so that we can get the stressor, the simultaneity, and we get the stressor on our joint logistics,” Johnson said.

    Today AF F-15’s and army gunships checked the forward movement of scumbags that thought they could press toward our lines. We still own the south east and the Eupherties with Iraq.
    We are not going to deploy the 101st or a marine division to Syria. DUH!

The latter did not claim what had happened, but surmised what would happen (with his blessings) were the same charges leveled against a ‘white’ alien. But in his 759am Gregory does ask a cogent question to counter your charge of racial discrimination.     The only ‘spurious conjecture’ here is that which J. Barron’s original poser implies… that there are foreign born white felonious wife beating Veterans from ‘white’ countries that got away from ICE… because they were white.
    There aren’t many immigrants, legal or not, from places like Iceland in the US, and it would be a tiny subset of those who could be veterans and a tiny subset of those who could be felonious spousebeaters.
    FYI I suspect (100 Quatloos worth) that “J. Barron” is Michael P. Anderson.
