[On the face of it I am not in favor of withdrawing US troops from Syria, especially viz the Kurds. My own long-stated Rebane Doctrine is that the US must continue its role as the world's white hat policeman (hegemon) using responses and methods that will evolve with needs and time. But before we continue hyper-ventilating on the withdrawal, can someone cite the exact parameters of Trump's withdrawal announcement – e.g. is it more than pulling a few tens of troops back from the 20-mile buffer zone? gjr]

In other news closer to home…..Gavin is diverting 5 billion gas tax dollars from repairing and building roads to the “Climate Change Scope” plan by Executive Order.
“Republicans say Newsom is shifting resources away from the road repairs voters expected when they rejected Proposition 6 last year — a ballot measure that would have repealed the 2017 gas taxes.
Carl DeMaio, a candidate running to replace to Congressman Duncan Hunter in San Diego, led the effort in support of Proposition 6. He called Newsom a “bald-faced liar” and said the governor will likely use gas tax revenue to fund “pet projects.”
Assemblyman Jim Patterson, R-Fresno was equally upset.
“The executive order basically says your own personal automobile is the problem and we’re going to force you out of your automobile by spending your gas tax money on things that don’t improve roads, highways, and streets,” Patterson said.

“What the hell were you thinking?” he said of Newsom’s directive. “I don’t normally talk like this, but it’s hard for people who are out of touch in Sacramento to fully understand what it’s like to try to fix Highway 99. The governor doesn’t use 99 like the rest of us do. He has escorts driving him. He’s out of touch with what the people have to deal with in California, and I think it’s going to bite him politically.”

Does anyone, anywhere, wonder why after years of talk by the Dems about how evil Trump is and how they have solid evidence of the crimes he has committed – they have yet to even start to do anything formally about impeachment?
And the leftys that post here are just hilarious. Not one single one of you rock-throwers has shown anything other than TDS.
What are any of you losers for?
Other than bragging about hanging out in upscale whitey-white enclaves?
What candidates are you promoting?

Some perspective for the ignorant trolls peddling the socialist dem party line –
The Pentagon stated on Monday that Turkey has been removed from the “air tasking order” employed by members of the anti-Islamic State coalition operating in Syria.
This means Turkish planes will have considerable difficulty entering Syrian airspace to support the invasion threatened by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and will not benefit from surveillance data collected by the coalition.
“If you’re not on the air tasking order, it’s really hard to coordinate flights in that area,” explained Pentagon spokeswoman Carla Gleason.

Fake news redux – “Billionaires paid less in taxes than the working class last year for the first time in U.S. history, a study found.”
Really?
Oh.
“The wealthiest 400 families had a 23 percent tax rate, compared to the bottom half of households, which had a 24.2 percent tax rate.”
Ah – ‘rate’ not ‘amount’.
And
“Jason Furman, an economist at Harvard, told the Post that the study is misleading because it doesn’t include refundable tax credits, thus making tax burdens appear higher than they really are.”
Well, yeah – but how many of the filthy rich bought Teslas and got a rebate on that purchase, huh?
https://thehill.com/policy/finance/domestic-taxes/464935-billionaires-paid-lower-tax-rate-than-working-class-for-first
So – what actual amount did the wealthiest top 1% actually pay vs the lower working class?
Strangely, that sort of info was not included in the article.
Last time I checked, our govt runs on money, not rates.

You are a short sighted fool. This has NOTHING to do with impeachment or kicking Trump out of office. It is entirely about building public perception and paving the way to Trump’s loss in 2020. The longer you people think this is about impeachment, the longer Nancy has to swirl Trump into the drain by framing him as someone who has something to hide from the American people. He and his ego are playing directly into her hands. The more times Trump stonewalls, the more imbedded the public perception. That you can’t see that befuddles me. But it makes me happy to.

In the ‘truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” category: Trumpler only made 66 false claims last week. During the last 13 weeks he has averaged 60 false claims per week putting his total since taking office somewhere near 13,000. But it’s all fake news, and deep state shenanigans, and media lies. Now the intelligence community is out to get him so he is cutting funding on executive oversight within those agencies. Nothing to hide folks, don’t worry, it’s not obstruction of justice to ignore the Constitution because all these people are conspiring to oust the Don and they are all bad people…every one of them..not a patriot in the bunch. The only real patriots are the yes men he has surrounded himself with in the administration who do what the Don tells them to do.. disagree and YOU’RE FIRED. So far 66 high ranking appointees have either been fired or resigned due to conflicts with the Don.

Insight: “It is not the fact of liberty but the way in which liberty is exercised that ultimately determines whether liberty itself survives.” —Dorothy Thompson (1894-1961)
Sad but true: “Trump is president, and he has allowed the deficit to soar beyond the increases that were already projected to happen. And Republicans in Congress have reacted with muted concern at best, and more like a collective shrug. Trillion-dollar deficits under a Democrat were a national emergency. Trillion-dollar deficits under Trump are no biggie. It’s almost like the real problem, for many Republicans, wasn’t the deficit.” —Peter Suderman
For the record: “Corporate America doesn’t care if their products, ads, or messaging offend you, insult you, belittle you or demonize you. They’ll stand up to your complaints every time. But the moment an employee offends the Chinese government, they pee themselves and beg and grovel for mercy.” —Jim Geraghty
Good question: “Hey, Adam Schiff… How can an anonymous whistle-blower be receiving death threats if they are anonymous? You are so used to lying you don’t even know what comes out of your mouth anymore.” —Ryan Fournier
Food for thought: “What if the whistleblower had once worked for Biden? That would be wild.” —David Harsanyi
Braying jenny: “Maybe there does need to be a rematch. I mean, obviously I can beat him again.” —Hillary Clinton
Braying jackass: “I hope that in this country people who say that they’re Jesus-loving, God-loving, that they pay more attention to God-loving, Jesus-loving people on this side of the border with brown skin that are desperate, that are being treated cruelly by this president because he clearly doesn’t care about them.” —Julian Castro, who should have been arrested for human trafficking after bringing illegals across the border
And last… “Think about how China is reacting to a single tweet sent by a guy in Texas. Now imagine what it’s like to be an actual citizen of that country, entirely subject to its government’s whims. In conclusion, communism is bad. Very, very bad.” —Matt Walsh
