Regarding Greta memes… Thunberg’s champions will thin with time. In 8 years we will be approaching 2028, and facing impending doom either from heat because the world didn’t get off their collective butts in 2019 to halt CO2 emissions when told to by an oft malnourished Swedish schoolgirl taken to skipping her classes, or impending food shortages because of shorter growing seasons due to a grand solar minimum warned of in 2019 by an old Russian woman teaching mathematics and astrophysics at a British university. And a bunch of out of favor mostly white guys with PhDs with similar views.
I’m betting on the latter as being more likely

While most are focused on the science, I am focused on policy. For sake of argument, let’s say I believe in man made global warming. So, what’s the policy for 2021, 2022, 2025? At least Pocahontas has a plan for that. In 2028, all new construction in the US must be carbon neutral structures.
If I am true believer in AWG, then the best and most reliable energy efficient (and minimal carbon footprint) is nuclear energy. 20% of the US is powered by nuke juice. What is going to replace that 20%? Oh, “What about the radioactive waste?”, one may ask.
Answer: We don’t even know the technology that will be available in 15, 10, 8, or even 5 years. One does not snap her/his fingers and a nuclear plant pops out of the ground. These won’t be your Daddy’s nuke plants.
What about the cheap clean natural gas? Why be against fracking? Reliable, lower carbon footprint. Call it a bridge to carbon neutral. That’s what they called biofuel. What are you going to replace fracking with? Windmills? Solar panels? Batteries? Geothermal? Algae? Biomass incinerators? What about semis that hauls food from farm to urban centers and suburbs? Everything you purchase and have from pencils to lamps has been hauled at one time on a truck. Even your windows and computer machine. Look around your abode.
What is the policy to replace what we use now? Pocahontas is against nuclear AND fracking. Look at France and compare with Germany. Germany has opened up the coal fields again as a direct result of shutting down nuclear and going solar.
———————
“Because the wind only blows intermittently, wind turbines in Michigan have a 36% capacity factor. That is, they can produce 1,925.3 megawatts of electricity just 36% of the time, on average. This means that, theoretically, it would require building another 2,162 wind turbines to replace the Karn coal plant.
But even that would not meet the need, because there is not enough variation in weather across Michigan to ensure that if turbine blades aren’t spinning in one area, they will do so elsewhere. When the blades are not spinning, Michigan’s utilities and the customers who rely on them would have to hope that utilities in other states have extra power available to sell at reasonable rates.“

Now that’s funny –
The panel, according to CNN’s Erin Burnett (Cecily Strong), served as an example of how the Democratic candidates have “united together and decided to handle impeachment the only way they know how: with a muddled, 10-person town hall debate.”
There was SNL newcomer Bowen Yang—the first-ever cast member of Asian descent—as Andrew Yang, sporting a tight shirt and imitating the candidate’s lack of neck. “I’m literally giving free money to people and I’m still in sixth place!” he exclaimed. Another newbie, Chloe Fineman, appeared as Marianne Williamson—live via astro-projection from outer space.
Then came the “actual candidates,” including Kate McKinnon’s Elizabeth Warren and—yes!—Larry David’s Bernie Sanders, who exclaimed, “Hello, everyone! I’m so excited to be back and ruin things a second time!”
Host Woody Harrelson debuted his Joe Biden impersonation—ridiculous capped teeth and all. “There’s no need to worry anymore: Daddy’s here, America! I see you, I hear you, I sniff you, and I hug you from behind.”
He added, “Now, as I ask anytime I walk into a room: Where am I? And what the hell is going on here?”
And, last but certainly not least, the great Maya Rudolph cameoed as Kamala Harris. In her pitch-perfect tone, she exclaimed, “Now, Erin, that little girl you just introduced? That little girl is me. Just checking because, I’m not just that little girl. I’m also America’s cool aunt. A fun aunt. I call that a ‘Funt.’ The kind of Funt that will give you weed but then arrest you for having weed. Can I win the presidency? Probably not. Can I successfully seduce a much younger man? You better funting believe it.”

DISPATCHES FROM THE BATHROOM WARS:Portland Bans Urinals to Respect ‘Shared Values,’ Charges Taxpayers $200M. Plus: A Mind-Bending History of Gender Rules.
<
blockquote>Finally, in a place constantly lecturing us about protecting the environment (you know, plastic straws etc) this will waste a tremendous amount of water I checked and most urinals take as little as a pint of water per flush (1/8 gallon). Even “modern” toilets flush with more than a gallon of water. Some “no flush” urinals use no water at all. Multiply this by hundreds of thousands of flushes a year. Figure out how this makes sense.
Well we know where the environment rates in the hierarchy of progressive values.

Daily Quotes
Insight: “When you see all that rhetorical smoke billowing up from the Democrats, well, ladies and gentleman, I’d follow the example of their nominee; don’t inhale.” —Ronald Reagan
Observations: “Unfortunately for Pelosi and Democrats, impeachment now has everything to do with the election. Their message to the American people is now unmistakable: you were wrong in 2016, and we’re going to set things right. You couldn’t be trusted to elect the right president, so we’re canceling Trump’s election.” —John Daniel Davidson
The BIG Lie: “[Attorney General William Barr has] gone rogue. I think where they’re going is a cover-up of a cover-up.” —House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Phony nobility: “[Losing the House] doesn’t matter. Our first responsibility is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” —Nancy Pelosi (And the only way to do that is for Democrats to lose.)
Acquiescing to the mob: “Up to this point, I have been opposed to pursuing impeachment because it will further divide our already badly divided country. However, after looking carefully at the transcript of the conversation with Ukraine’s President, the whistleblower complaint, the Inspector General memo, and President Trump’s comments about the issue, unfortunately, I believe that if we do not proceed with the inquiry, it will set a very dangerous precedent.” —Rep. Tulsi Gabbard
Grand delusions: “I’m calling upon those who are close to President Trump right now … to advise him to do the right thing and to resign from this office.” —Beto O’Rourke
Lacking self-awareness: “This occupant of the Oval Office poses a clear and present danger to our future, to our democracy.” —Hillary Clinton, who was rejected for being a clear and danger to our republic
Non compos mentis: “People have said to me, you know, ‘Do you think these hearings are going to take very long?’ Not really, because there’s a whole lot of direct evidence including [Trump’s] virtual confession.” —Sen. Kamala Harris
Non sequitur: “[Trump] stabbed in the back the career foreign service officers who serve bravely and selflessly no matter the politics of the administration that they are working under. And now they are caught in the crossfire.” —Hillary Clinton (On the contrary, deep-state leakers stabbed Trump in the back.)
Braying jenny: “I believe he knows he’s an illegitimate president.” —Hillary Clinton
Braying jackass: “I still believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. And like the man who appointed him, Brett Kavanaugh should be impeached.” —Elizabeth Warren
And last… “Four large secrets that most of the American media are afraid to utter are that the American economy is growing in a way that is directly helpful to the most vulnerable segments of society; that the administration’s trade policy is clearly working; that the flow of illegal immigrants is sharply diminishing; and that for the first time in 65 years, the United States has practically ceased to be a net oil importer.” —Conrad Black

This shows how ignorant Trump is. Can any one hear show how Trumps allegations have anything to do with Treason as defined in the Constitution? What an ignorant idiot we have in the White House and the Republican Party will have orange Trump stains on it’s legay for decates to come.

Pay with your own money not the publics! –
A federal court ruled University of Iowa officials must pay out of their own pockets for discriminating against a prominent Christian student group, calling the university’s conduct “ludicrous” and “incredibly baffling” during a hearing last week.
Judge Stephanie M. Rose of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa ruled Friday that the University of Iowa and its officers violated constitutional law when they kicked InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and other religious groups, off the campus in June 2018 for requiring leaders to uphold Christian beliefs — but giving a pass to secular student groups that also have leadership requirements.
The court stated it “would never have expected the university to respond to that order by homing in on religious groups” like InterVarsity, while “carving out explicit exemptions for other groups. But here we are.” The court did “not know how a reasonable person could have concluded this was acceptable,” since it “plainly” doubled down on the exact same conduct the court had already held unlawful.
“It’s too bad it took twice for the University to learn its lesson,” Blomberg added. “There was no excuse the first time for squashing students’ First Amendment rights. University officials nationwide should now take note that religious discrimination will hit them in the pocketbook.”

Did you hear that black unemployment is at its historic low? Hispanic, Asian, women too or so I have heard.

As reported by CNN (before they realized what they were doing), here’s what the Dems are really afraid of 👇🏻
“British intelligence passed Trump associates’ talks with Russian on to US counterparts.”
OUCH!

Why I put little faith in IG Horowitz’s reports. He hold back punches.
Another great informative read from RealClear Investigations
“So far there have been few serious consequences for department big shots from Horowitz’s findings, even for McCabe. Trump supporters hanging their hopes on “straight-shooter” Horowitz getting to the bottom of alleged FBI surveillance abuses during the 2016 election could be disappointed.
“Even if he does produce a tough report, it’s not likely to stay that way, department insiders say. They expect it to be watered down especially after Comey, Strzok, McCabe, Page and other officials mentioned in it get their own chance to make changes, reviewing it for “accuracy.”
“Swecker says he’s already given up on Horowitz holding dirty agents accountable and is putting stock in prosecutor Durham’s wider probe into Trump-Russia’s origins.
“Durham is serious,” the former FBI official said, “and he has indictment authority.”
