So you don’t support States Rights Walt? That’s California’s choice why should the Feds take charge? I thought you were a Conservative. Poor Conservatives being sucked in by this carnival barker flim flam man.

    I don’t believe polls anymore.

Also and if I am not mistaken, Rasmussen had Clinton by two on the eve of the election in 2016. Isn’t that exactly what the vote was?

You tried that lame argument Emery. Back to the same old

So – that’s it? Paul’s big worry about Trump is that he revoked an Obama waiver?
It doesn’t prevent anyone from producing or buying a lower emission vehicle, Paul.
Your hair’s on fire over nothing – a big fat nothing.
And that’s it for why Trump is a ‘danger’ to our country.
And – still nothing from Paul about the Dems he promised he would vote for.
    Nothing.

    Potheads and cannabis
AUDIT: California Cannabis Users 3x More Likely To Visit Illegal Pot Shops Than Licensed Dispensaries
The only demonstrated solution to the size of the unlicensed market is for industry and government to come together to ensure sufficient numbers of licenses are issued,” he added. “We hope that monopolistic cannabis operators, as well as the lobbying organizations that represent them, will realize that their advocacy for limited license monopolies only hurts the diversity, size and strength of the licensed market.”
76% of California cities and 69% of its counties have banned marijuana dispensaries, which some lawmakers say has contributed to the booming illicit market. The voter-approved referendum that permitted adults to possess and grow limited amounts of the drug for personal use also gave local jurisdictions the right to prohibit legal sales in their communities.

Ah, the old diversity argument. Break up the monopolies!

I guess “state’s rights” include pushing asinine LIB ideals on the rest of the nation…. Right Emery?
Places like Seattle should have the right to ban anything they like from being shipped from those sea ports,, like coal. Right Emery? Just shred the interstate commerce clause.
Calif. has the state right to open it’s border to Mexico and let all who care to, to come across said border. Right Emery?

Arguing states’ rights as a black/white hard-bounded notion is a fool’s errand. States’ rights is one of the most nuanced aspects of the Constitution which the Founders left us and warned us about. It has already caused one massive war (of Southern Independence) in our land. The Left today wants to use it to promote their temporary but effective means of destroying our historical culture, after which you will see no such thing as states’ rights when their new massive Leviathan starts enforcing socialist central planning and control from on high. Meanwhile, their acolytes like PaulE use states’ rights as bait for inconclusive debates that detour more critical examination of any given underlying issue and/or factors.
