[Now that President Trump has revealed that he does incorporate reasoned decision processes and make prudent decisions about engaging US forces in response to abundant provocations by murderous dictatorships, I wonder if the Dems will allow their minions to hear any of this on the media. One can niggle about whether he should have revealed how the latest all came about. gjr]

What can happen when the system wants your head –
Maj. Gen. Abbas al-Jubouri testified that he never saw Gallagher stab the detainee in the neck. Gallagher served alongside Abbas’ unit in an advise and assist capacity in Mosul.
“At any time did you see Chief Gallagher take out the knife while he was treating the ISIS fighter?” asked Maj. Nelson Candelario, one of Gallagher’s military lawyers.
“No,” Abbas replied.
“You never saw him put the knife near the ISIS fighter’s neck?” “No,” he replied.
Abbas told the defense lawyer if had he witnessed improper conduct from SEALs, he would have taken action.
“I would have stepped in,” Abbas said.
“Had you seen Chief Gallagher do anything wrong…you would have reported it?” Candelario asked.
“Exactly,” Abbas replied. “I would have stopped him…I would be very upset.”

OHHHH The carnage……
MIAMI, FL—A major cave-in occurred after all Democratic candidates scrambled to the far left side of the debate stage Thursday evening.
As the debate kicked off, Bernie Sanders immediately ran to the left. Not to be outdone, Joe Biden vaulted over him, demanding to be the one standing farthest to the left. Buttigieg yelled, “Hey, straight dudes! Watch this!” and leaped over both of them in a fabulous cartwheel, landing perfectly right near the edge of stage left. He was given a “10” by the judges.
Kamala Harris called in a SWAT team to shoot at and arrest the other candidates while she rushed to the left side as well, though she was angry to discover this was illegal. Eric Swalwell went a step further and tried to call in a nuclear strike so he could dive as far left as possible while the others would be forced to take cover, but luckily his staffers had just given him a kids’ Spy Gear walkie-talkie and told him it was a nuke button.”

Denmark is such a tiny country, about the size of Maryland. Hmmm. I wonder how and what all those 177 million people in the USA that are covered by private insurance actually feel about their private insurance. I wonder.
I know, we should do a survey. Wait, we have. I forget the exact percentages, but it is safe to say most people are of a generally favorable opinion to their plan, whatever it may be. Most probably like it. Lest I forget, Medi-Cal covers all my needs if I lose coverage. It’s free for us po folk. Lose a job, but no lap in insurance. Cool.
Let’s throw thosethey 177 million folks off their plans, promise them Medicare for All and deliver them Medicaid for All.
Survey sez: Half the folks who had recently used a hospital in Denmark (according to the survey) said they went to a private hospital. Hmmm. Public hospitals are free. Odd.
Denmark is such a tiny country. Like Vermont where they tried but failed. (Bernie’s state).
Fun fact: Vermont has the smallest economy of all the 50 states. Land of the Socialists.

The clown car occupants last night have helped Trump so much it makes me giddy! All were mean, looking grimaced and nasty. Regular Americans got ZIP from those lovelies on how to help our homeless vets. But they are all in to give illegal people our money and stuff. Thanks democrats, you could not have helped more except than pulling the lever for Trump.

A idiot in the Union complains about the border. I responded.
The problem is overblown and you liberals are to blame. Not Trump. He asked for money to build a wall to keep these people out and your ilk won’t give him the dough. Then you won’t change the amnesty laws to keep these liars from traccicking these little kids as their own and forcing the police to become caregivers. I suggest you take in these kids if you are so concerned. But you won’t. All you liberals do is whine and complain. Now your leaders are proposing “open borders” to allow 100 million in through Mexico. You actually are the party that is responsible not Trump or those that want to stem the flow of these people. Lastly, these kids are in the protection of our country and sheltered from those sex traffickers and drug cartels. They get shelter, food and sanitary conditions. Yet you complain. Get on the solution train or shut up.

Quotes:
For the record: “The headline out of [last night’s] debate is going to be Kamala Harris starting off the second hour by turning to Joe Biden and just kicking the snot out of him on the previously long-forgotten issue of forced busing in Delaware. No older white male wants to get into a fight about racism with a younger African-American woman in a Democratic presidential primary.” —Jim Geraghty
Friendly fire: “President Donald Trump was the big winner of the first 2020 Democratic debate. The Republican commander in chief, who was on his way to an economic summit in Osaka, Japan, emerged from the scrap largely unscathed — barely mentioned at all — even though he is a uniquely antagonizing and energizing force for Democratic voters.” —NBC News’s Jonathan Allen
Socialism is nothing but faux promises: “I don’t make a whole lot of promises — but in the first week of my presidency, we will bring together the presidents of the Central American countries, the president of Mexico, to figure out how as a hemisphere we’re going to address [immigration].” —Sen. Bernie Sanders
Cat’s out of the bag: “People who have health care under ‘Medicare for all’ will have no premiums, no deductibles, no copayments, no out-of-pocket expenses. Yes, they will pay more in taxes but less in health care.” —Bernie Sanders
Braying Jenny: “What is the greatest national security threat to the United States? It’s Donald Trump. And I’m gonna tell you why. Because I agree: Climate change represents an existential threat. [Trump] denies the science. You wanna talk about North Korea? Real threat in terms of nuclear arsenal, but what does he do? He embraces Kim Jong-un — a dictator — for the sake of a photo-op. Putin. You wanna talk about Russia? He takes the word of the Russian president over the word of the American intelligence community when it comes to a threat to our democracy and our elections.” —Sen. Kamala Harris
Pandering: “This was the first time in my life I’ve watched Democrats fight to be more progressive than the other Dems. The old Dem Party hopefully is dead & this one must appeal to youth, ppl of color & women.” —Michael Moore
And last… “Biden has been in politics for 40 years but the Democrats just discovered like 12 seconds ago that he’s been a ‘racist’ this whole time. These people are such ridiculous frauds. They make me physically sick.” —Matt Walsh

re RobertC 1037am – For the casual reader, this is a typical contribution from our leftwing commenters – a naked assertion with absolutely no substance, basis, or evidence. How one is satisfied with such output remains a mystery. But today almost half the country thrives on such tripe.

You LIBS are ones to point fingers at interference on voting.
I don’t recall you complaining when your boy “O” did it.
And with taxpayer bucks no less, and against an friendly nation.
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jul/12/obama-admin-sent-taxpayer-money-oust-netanyahu/
“The State Department paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayers grants to an Israeli group that used the money to build a campaign to oust Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in last year’s Israeli parliamentary elections, a congressional investigation concluded Tuesday.
Some $350,000 was sent to OneVoice, ostensibly to support the group’s efforts to back Israeli-Palestinian peace settlement negotiations. But OneVoice used the money to build a voter database, train activists and hire a political consulting firm with ties to President Obama’s campaign — all of which set the stage for an anti-Netanyahu campaign, the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations said in a bipartisan staff report.
Another case of ” It’s OK when WE do it”.

Jig 156pm – Well, well Mr Wiggly, at least you made a try. My commendations for the effort, but no cigar. On matters of political opinion Wikipedia cannot be considered a corroborating citation. But even in your cited piece, the writer can only speak of Russia’s attempt to interfere and can provide no evidence of interference whatsoever. Of course Team Mueller came to the identical conclusion. It is though very revealing that you (and presumably yours) consider such a citation to supply the needed ‘substance, basis, or evidence’ for RobertC’s 1037am.
It appears that the nuance is beyond you – it is not I who says that there is no evidence of Russia having interfered in the 2016 election (while there is ample evidence that they attempted interference in that and all previous elections), that is admitted by our security services. No one has been able confirm that Russia had any impact on our elections.
