Concord Management & Consulting exposes a particularly troubling flaw in the government’s effort to control, manage, and curate political ideas from abroad. The special counsel appears to have forgotten to explain how foreign political speech broke U.S. law.
   According to the May 24 order, the government is required to demonstrate that Russia-based company Concord had a duty to play “Mother, may I?” with the DOJ and the Federal Elections Commission before posting political speech on the internet using assumed names. Without that, the entire criminal case falls apart.
   As noted by Judge Dabney L. Freidrich, speech that might “sow discord among US voters through divisive social media posts and political rallies … by itself, was not illegal.” Truly, all political speech has the potential to be divisive or sow discord. The prosecution of any political criticism of Hillary Clinton without citing the specific laws supposedly being violated is troubling, to say the least……..
   “The Mueller indictment’s criminalization of Concord’s effort to “sow discord” has chilling similarity to Chinese justifications for censorship: “to curb the harmful effects of illegal information on state security [and] public interests.” Mueller’s report makes little or no effort to explain why political speech that originates from another country is a crime.    This entire issue goes to the core of free speech. What it is and what it isn’t.
   Free speech is the right to publicly disseminate ideas without govt interference. At the margins, there is controversy and unclear court rulings. ie – cursing in public, displays of nudity and so forth. Advocating or urging violence against some one is obviously not allowed although it seems these days the bad orange man is fair game to some and exactly what ‘violence’ is has become a rather twisted tale. The bald fact of the matter is that the left is usually at a disadvantage when it comes to information and ideas, so we see that in schools the idea of free speech is being re-formed or mutated into something of a rather odd animal.
   Judge Freidrich has it exactly right. Free speech is only free if we are allowed to upset people or offend them. The lefts’ invention of ‘hate speech’ must be squashed. Words themselves are not violence. If some one presents an idea that you cannot counter because you have not the wit nor the facts to do so, you will have to deal with it peacefully. Attacking or shouting down the speaker must not be allowed under any circumstance.
   If we are to criminalize a foreigner for expressing views in our country, then what shall we do about Americans expressing their views about another peoples or land?

    Well, I have held my fire. Today is the first day of Summer, 2019. Robert Cross said that Trump would be gone from office in Spring (2019).
    Roberta is the one who tells us what we can read and that which we may not. Whatever source that Roberta read that guaranteed that poor girl that Trump would be gone from office in Spring, 2019…..I am glad I did not read that crap…or if I did, I sure as heck would not fall for that garbage like she did.
