AG Barr will finally seek to hold the FBI accountable for their Obama era corruptions.  This has the Democrats screeching bloody murder for what they know will be revealed on the road to the 2020 elections.  WSJ’s Kim Strassel lays it all out – ‘Barr Brings Accountability’.

California’s critical 4th grade academic rankings are in the toilet – 47th in math, 46th in reading, 46th in science.  Assemblyman Kevin Kiley was punished in the California Assembly for making public the latest progressive follies in screwing the state’s school kids.  The bottom line is that progressives are lunatics when it comes to governance as they demonstrate total ignorance of how humans work – their needs and behaviors.  The only policies they propose, promote, and pass are those designed to enlarge government and give the Left ever more power over our lives.  (more here)

Todd Juvinall, blogger and RR reader, deserves kudos for spelling out in the 13apr19 Union the manifold gifts Democrats are giving Republicans for the next national elections – ‘A big thank you to the Democratic Party’.

John Palmer, arch liberal, then goes on to once again demonstrate that there is no hope for conservatives and liberals to ever join again in a functional government that advances the interests of a sovereign and strong United States.  In his 13apr19 Other Voices he observes that “in practice, conservatives tend to wallow in hate, anger, bigotry, ignorance, greed, corruption and dishonesty (I’m not making this up, I looked at our current administration); while liberals celebrate love, happiness, intelligence, inclusion, fairness, generosity, honesty (I’m not making this up either, I looked at our previous administration).”  Nuff said.

Trump is taking a page out of Obama’s playbook in proposing to dump migrants in sanctuary cities.  Obama did exactly that in 2014 when he focused on dumping unvetted illegal alien families in Murietta and other locales that were considered ‘Reagan Country’.  What do you think of the chances that you will know any of this from lamestream outlets?  Zero comes to mind.  (more here, and H/T to reader)

Harvard corroborates well-known ‘racial’ intellect (IQ) rankings that place Asian students at the top and African-Americans at the bottom.  This ranking has been known by educational psychologists for some time now, and continues to draw mindless vitriol from the Left for its politically incorrect revelations (see RR’s contribution and reactions here).   WSJ’s Bill McGurn reports that Harvard’s sense of fairness in their application process “with respect to Asian-Americans, black applicants effectively had their scores boosted by 310 points, Hispanics by 270 points, and whites by 140.”  (more here)

Mad Max blows another tire on student loans. It’s amazing how the vaunted intellectually superior Democrat voters continue to send double dummies to the federal and state legislatures.  Rep Maxine Waters (D-CA) had no idea that the feds have been administering student loans since 2010 as she asked the CEOs of Bank of America, Citigroup, and JP Morgan what they were doing to solve the student loan problem.  Waters doesn’t even have the brains to hire a staff that would prevent her from being stupid on the national stage.  Do the Democrats care?  Nah!  They know their constituents are even more intellectually disabled to pick up on any of this.  (Exhibit A – RR comment streams)

[14apr19 update]  Dems constantly continue to diss their constituents – why?  Because they can, and it works.  One of the latest is the Left and their lamestream lackies discrediting AG Barr because he was “hand picked by Trump”.  How dumb do you have to be not to know that EVERY AG is handpicked by the President?  The progressive elites have known the answer to such questions for years – as dumb as our voters, the ones we have carefully ‘educated’ unto the third generation.

[15apr19 update]  Spying is the short word for surreptitious surveillance of some process and/or person(s).  Apparently no one in the media can or will connect these dots.  Spying can be commissioned by governments, private organizations, and individuals.  Spying is usually employed to obtain information/data to be used against the interest of a third party and/or to advance an agenda opposed by those spied upon.  Today the well-practiced Orwellian progressives are busy convincing the country’s light thinkers that when government, under their control, surreptitiously surveils one of our own citizens (with no reasonable basis save political objectives), then that is not spying.  And the lamestream has swallowed that line along with its hook and sinker as it daily continues to regurgitate such newspeak.

[16apr19 update]  Tea Party as a radical rightwing organization. That myth (lie?) is now fully baked into the progressives' national narrative.  Were that to be true, then there would be no problem in spelling out some of the organization’s tenets that qualify it for the ‘radical’ label.  However, no such examples have been published by the Left.  Maybe some of the leftwing worthies who frequent these pages can give us an example or two of such offending beliefs held by the Tea Party (links appreciated).  Full disclosure – I was part of the formation committee for the Nevada County Tea Party.

In the newspaper business an old adage was, “If you don’t want it to be read, publish it on Saturday.” Happy to see Todd got his moment of daylight . . . on a sunny Saturday no less! ROFLMAO. Everyone gets a trophy, don’t we Todd 🙂

RE John Palmer, I may have met him face to face in October ’16. He was as giddy as Punch was about the GOP burial about to happen. Kept talking about how dumb Republicans were.

If the spying on the Trump campaign was improperly predicated (which at this point seems to be the case), Bill Barr seems to be the guy to clean house. Democrats and CNN could likely be on the wrong side of history on this one. Spying on a presidential candidate by the CIA or DOJ or FBI is a huge deal and will go down in history if improperly launched.

Re: John Palmer. Venezuela and North Korea are ruled by conservatives? This sounds like Punchy when he ran to the police over that Stink Asses sign. “George, we must root this out. We must not let them take hold and grow!” We must stay clean and pure to our Berkeley values….
“What does this all mean? It means liberals can never rest. They must continually fight against the negative, sometimes evil tendencies of the conservatives and not allow them to take root.”
Hmmm. What a bunch of malcontents. Even those cute pink caps could not make them happy. Guess that’s is why forward looking folks wear ball caps that say Make America Great Again and the glum lot wears hats that tell everybody they are now just discovering their private parts.
“Though life in America is a blessing for the vast majority of its citizens, the left constantly complains about America. Indeed, the better America gets, the louder the left’s complaints about America — about its racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, bigotry, xenophobia, inequality, systemic bias, etc. The right, on the other hand, regards life’s difficulties as inherent to life, not inherent to America’s flaws, and doesn’t much complain. Like men, conservatives complain less than liberals. And just as male and female feminists demand that American men complain more — that their lack of complaining is a form of “toxic masculinity” — the American left demands that Americans complain more.”

Seems like one of those people who spend all their social media mental shekels on crazy political rant. It’s just the thing to make you the life of the party.
“Harvard corroborates well-known ‘racial’ intellect (IQ) rankings that place Asian students at the top and African-Americans at the bottom. ”
Old news, but it still makes people crazy and is funny as a result. No doubt the knob tweaking that goes on for various groups also applies to the amount of money fed into the system. There’s probably some sort of educational law here. (Scenes First Law of Harvard….Those most likely to fail receive the highest scholarship amounts). Dunno what everyone is going to do as aptitude testing and monitoring improves (although the degree that companies will get into your business is going to increase to intolerable levels I think) and some more genetics science occurs so that physical tests can partly predict ability. More knob tweaking I guess.
Bummer that people can’t appreciate that individuals have ability (or not), not groups. No doubt the notion of an individual just reflects White Privilege.

Please note all that good stuff from “liberals” only comes about after they managed to cleanse their neighborhoods of the ‘others’. There’s a reason socialist countries turn into Stalinist/Baathist/Maoist/Khmer Rouge/Chavista hellholes, and it isn’t from peace and love.

You can only imagine how illiterate Todd’s original submission had to be to get printed with so many errors intact. Anyone and everyone who sees that piece will roll their eyes then stare in wild wonder to think that such a hick hasn’t moved to the foothills of coal country where he can wallow among beasts of his own intellect and proclivities.

I just checked the FUE’s blog and he has an entire post derived from Todd’s piece in The Union… not any of the points Todd made but tarring him as illiterate for the sentence, “The left wants to force is (sic) all into Mao suits”.
He does ponder an intent to write “force us” but doesn’t feel charitable enough to note that ‘i’ and ‘u’ are adjacent keys, possibly because then he doesn’t have the ammunition to claim illiteracy on Todd’s part. Yes, it probably was just a typo, Jeff, and you were out of line.
Pellini also issues a dig my way for still thinking he is “Ozz”. Yes indeed, “Ozz” smells like the FUE to me and others, and I also still think, along with many, that Jeff was (is?) “Gloria Zane” but then I also think water is wet so who am I to judge?

    Re: spying
Gives some clarity to Susan Rice’s CYA memo written as Trump was being sworn in concerning the Jan. 5th, 2017 meeting in the West Wing. Andrew McCarty
“The “spying” question arose last spring, when we learned that Stefan Halper, a longtime source for the CIA and British intelligence, had been tasked during the FBI’s Russia investigation to chat up three Trump campaign advisers: Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, and Sam Clovis. This was in addition to earlier revelations that the Obama Justice Department and FBI had obtained warrants to eavesdrop on Page’s communications, beginning about three weeks before the 2016 election.
“The fact that spying had occurred was too clear for credible denial. The retort, then, was misdirection: There had been no spying on Donald Trump or his campaign; just on a few potential bad actors in the campaign’s orbit.
It was nonsense then, and it is nonsense now.”

The “Ozz” is puppeted by more than one! The incident that convinced me it was the notorious tax scofflaw is when, after Walt mentioned something BBQ/cooking related the “Ozz” went on at length about how Walt was a primitive and amateur for his “On the Job” training in the kitchen and how “Ozz was the true expert because he had “been professionally trained in FOOD SCIENCE” And while we all know just how jeffy is impressed with himself he has always been a consumer (and how!) of fine food not a producer (at least not that he has mentioned! You are probably right about Keach sticking a hand up there Ozzhole on those occasions when he is insufficiently medicated. And it’s probably jeffy when the Ozz is writing poorly.
