   You misread my post. What I asked was whether you believe Trump is being honest about the reason he won’t release his taxes-that is his claim that he’s being audited. It is not whether he has a legal obligation to release them. Sorry my question was confusing to you.
   this goes to Don as well who was confused by my question. I have no interest in Todds response.

   PaulE 716pm – Have no idea whether he’s being audited or not. Is it not possible to ask the IRS to tell us since that is not giving away any personal information? Usually the rich and people with complex business relations are audited quite often, and they are prepared for that. I’m not sure what my uninformed opinion on the matter counts. But I have no idea what is the basis for Congress demanding to see Trump’s tax returns. The courts will probably decide.
