[The NCAA now allows transgender females to compete in women's track events, and soon other sports. The big concern that needs to be addressed is not that the transgenders are setting new records for women, but that this makes no never mind to the officials now fashioning this new sports world, “Focusing on performance advantage is largely irrelevant because this is a rights issue. We shouldn’t be worried about trans people taking over the Olympics. We should be worried about their fairness and human rights instead.” (more here) gjr]

I see the problem here. Trump did not denounce The Fat Ugly Kid, body slam him to the floor, kick his teeth in, stomp on his throat, then reach into the his gut and rip out little Rocketman’s entails and toss them to the press corps. Therein lies the problem. 3 min
,40 sec.

Sort of like Helsinki. Trump did not pull out his six shooter and put a round into Putin’s forehead. It’s what Trump did not do that is the problem here.

“Elon Musk has put himself in legal trouble with a post on Twitter. Again.
The Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday asked a federal court to hold Mr. Musk, chief executive of Tesla, in contempt of court for violating a settlement that he and the company reached with the commission last year. The S.E.C. said Mr. Musk issued an updated production outlook in a Twitter post on last Tuesday without first seeking approval from the company’s lawyers as required under the agreement.”

Yep, any bum on the dole has the vision and where with all to launch rockets into space (near and deep) and have the (re usable) boosters land themselves on a ship at sea. Musk made his fortune developing something called PayPal (do you even know what that is?). Pretty sure his first few billions had nothing to do with government subsidies.

Welcome to Silicon Valley sharia
“Last week, the little birdies in Twitter’s legal department notified me that one of my tweets from 2015 is “in violation of Pakistan law.” It seems like ancient history, but Islamic supremacists never forget — or forgive.
My innocuous tweet featured a compilation image of the 12 Muhammad cartoons published by Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten in 2005. It also linked to my Jan. 8, 2015, syndicated column on the Charlie Hebdo jihad massacre in Paris. There’s no hate, violence, profanity or pornography, just harmless drawings and peacefully expressed opinions about the Western media’s futile attempts to appease the unappeasable enforcers of sharia law, which bans all insults of Islam.
The Twitter notice assured me that the company “has not taken any action on the reported content at this time,” yet advised me that I should “consult legal counsel about this matter” in response to complaints from unnamed “authorized entities.”
Don’t worry, lawyer up? Gulp.
I will not. As an American citizen who is subject to America’s laws — not Pakistan’s or Mohammed’s — I’ll retweet my harmless little Mo cartoons to my 2.1 million followers every day from now on and stand with other targets on the side of free speech and free thought. How about you, Twitter?

Who is X? From a great hit piece 2 years ago. The second paraphy is a true, every word. Hint: Gary Hart connnection and single handily sunk Shotgun Joe. Opps.
“Residents told X they liked two seemingly opposite candidates: Bobby Kennedy and George Wallace. Kennedy was a liberal icon, preaching racial harmony, outreach to the poor, and ending the war. George Wallace, as observers have noted, shares much in common with Trump — inciting violence at his racially charged rallies, scapegoating distant elites and intellectuals, and reveling in being ostracized by respectable politicians.
“Even then, X was known for being disheveled. One memorable contemporary description compared him to “a figure out of Dostoyevsky, a large man hunched inside an unpressed wardrobe, a shambling gait, and a brambly, dark beard.” Another account said he was “just barely civilized — sloppy, rude, forgetful, tempestuous. It was as if he was raised by wolves.”
X saw that Perot’s success was not a unique situation but rather a sign of permanent social discontent now reshaping the traditional political system. He said that David Duke and Vermont’s Bernie Sanders — one the head of the KKK and the other a Jewish socialist, both with rising profiles in national politics — were “supping out of the same pot.”

House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Eliot Engel (D-NY) blasted Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Friday for suggesting that pro-Israel politicians hold “allegiance to a foreign country” and demanded the freshman congresswoman apologize for her “vile anti-Semitic slur.”
“I welcome debate in Congress based on the merits of policy, but it’s unacceptable and deeply offensive to call into question the loyalty of fellow American citizens because of their political views, including support for the U.S.-Israel relationship,” Engel said in a statement released Friday evening.
“Her comments were outrageous and deeply hurtful, and I ask that she retract them, apologize, and commit to making her case on policy issues without resorting to attacks that have no place in the Foreign Affairs Committee or the House of Representatives,” the New York Democrat continued.

“Ahead of the announcement, Trump invited Hayden Williams, a conservative activist who was assaulted at the University of California, Berkeley last month, on stage to discuss the Feb. 19 incident. “He took a punch for all of us,” said Trump.
The president then revealed his plans to pursue an executive order that would withhold federal research money from schools that fail to uphold free speech on campus.
“Today, I’m proud to announce that I will be very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal research dollars,” Trump told the audience. “If they want our dollars, and we give it to them by the billions, they’ve got to allow people like Hayden and many other great young people and old people to speak. Free speech. If they don’t, it will be costly. That will be signed soon.”

“Some journalists and commentators, anxious to prove American bigotry and blind to their own, throw gasoline onto these pyres of hatred. Politicians in both parties drag wood to this fire, dividing Americans into groups and setting them against one another. Many universities fuel these flames as well, promoting an agenda of division by means of race, gender, and wealth, denigrating, for example, males, particularly white males.
Given our educational system, the state of our politics, and the death of real journalism, this bonfire will blaze for years to come. The culture is ablaze with rancor, and there are no fire trucks on the horizon.
But here’s the good news: We don’t have to participate in this festival of hatred. We don’t have to listen to the race mongers, the bigots, the New Puritans who constantly snoop through the lives of their fellow citizens in hopes of rooting out some trivial evil or affront.
Instead, we can treat those around us as human beings, judging them by their vices and virtues. Moreover, we can remain on guard against the haters, whom we can either ignore or, if the opportunity presents itself, mock with gentle laughter.

That’s funny. A resident of our fine area took his family for a weeennd up at a state campground above Lake Tahoe. After breakfast on the cook stove, he took a regular ole egg and pulled out a sharpie and put some dots on it and set it down a few feet from a nearby trash can after he and the Mrs. finished cleaning up.
Sure enough, Ms Ranger came by on her morning rounds in the pickup emptying the trash cans. All of a sudden she spied the egg on the ground and became quite interested in it. She got on the walkie talkie and another Ranger came by and soon they started pulling out the yellow tape and cordoned off the area and shooing people away and on their walkie-talkies and getting quite excited and one Ranger making calls in his vehicle.
Finally the culprit went over a told them he just took a chicken egg and put a few dots on it. They were not amused and unlike the cardboard cutout, they were not smiling about it, lol. I told him that at least he did not set the egg near a trash can near the bathrooms caause they would have cordoned off them as well. Image what a morning distruption that would have caused. Always a silver lining.
