    TYrump gace a great speech in Miami today. All about kicking out socialism in Venezuela. And Cuba and Nicaragua. Maduro will be history soon. Trump told him and his supporters that the new President would grant them amnesty, including the military if they put down their arms. And Trumps said he knows where the billions are they swiped. It was great. For the domestic political market he smashed socialism/communism which will force the lamestream media to finally report on it. It was also a signal to the Academics to start telling the truth. Marines are ready to go!

    Four things about FBI/DOJ officials discussing the 25th Amendment.
    First, McCabe, Rosenstein, or any of that bunch have zero say in the matter or authority. Only ones who do is the VP and half the cabinet or about 8 members of Trump’s cabinet.
    Second, the reason that McCabe and all gang are so cavilier is they know nothing with happen to them. McCabe has been caught lying 4 times to investigators, 3 under oath. Comey has perjered himself many times, leaked and like some others have violated federal law by leaking to the press. All that happened to them is the got fired. All face legal jeopardy on multiple felonies. Nothing happens to them. They are out peddling books and doing interviews, raising a ton of money. They know they ain’t going to jail.
    Third, the timeline shows the conversations happened right after Comey was fired. Rosenstein was sweating bullets thinking he was next to get the ax, as well as MCCabe. The reason they even discussed the 25th Amendment is they had zero evidence on Trump colluding with the Russians to affect the election. Nada. Zero Evidence. They had spies in the Trump Campaign, warrants up the yazoo to get every single communication the campaign ever made and all communications of all members of the campaign made and every communication of the individuals that anyone associated with the Trump Campaign had contact with going back years. The FBI, DOJ andintelligence agencies ran a counter-intelligence operation on the Trump Campaign a full NINE plus months before Meuller came on board. Because after all that poking around they were still missing any E Word (Evidence), they desperately planned something else…like using the 25th Amendment. As Peter texted when he was going over the Meuller team, “There is nothing there.” He should know. He was the top SPY Catcher for Justice (FBI counterintelligence.)
    They ( McCabae annd Rosenstein) were scared shitless that the investigation would stop and they (FBI and DOJ) would be found out. What I mean by “found out””, the reader can do their own research. It’s out there.
    4). If “they”, as a mental midget recently implied,, were simply doing their Consttitutional duty, they they must of just woke up out a coma cause they sure as heck kept a blind eye to doing their Consttitutional duty for the previous year, lol.

    Interesting difference of opinion Punch. You and your legal colleague Allen Dershowitz disagree completely on the notion of “Constitutional Duty”. It’s his opinion that there are no 25th amendment issues surrounding the Trump presidency to this point and that the FBI vastly overstepped their bounds when pursuing this approach!
    Anyway……I’m sure you will want to discuss it with him the next time you two get together at a legal or constitutional conference.

    Regarding the amateur ‘diagnosis’ of narcissistic personality disorder of Trump reminds me of a sequence in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
    Zaphod Beeblebrox, President of the Galaxy, was put into a box that is supposed to blow the mind (literally) by giving you the perspective of the near infinity of the Universe and your place in it.
    Beeblebrox jumped out intact and rejuvinated, saying something like, hey man, it told me I was Zaphod Beeblebrox, the most important person in the Universe.
    Only later were we told that it was a duplicate universe made specially for the occasion… that it was made for Zaphod and he’d not have survived the experience in the real universe.
    Zaphod and the Donald have a lot in common, but not the second head and third arm.

    Sure, one could say that the Russian Hoax only exposed what the media was all about, how unhinged, vile, and toxic the Progressives are just below the surface…..but the Hoax brought out the very worse of the Lefties, the most psychotic of behaviors, the most warping of their brainwaves. The damage the Russian Hoax has done to our system of government is incalculable. This Hoax has FOREVER tainted the CIA, FBI, DOJ. It was not Trump who undermined our country and institutions. It was those who perpetrated the biggest Hoax of them all, The Russian Collusion Hoax. It has destroyed the lives and reputation of innocent men and woman and their families for ever..on both sides
    And what does Meuller and McCabe and the Deep State have for all their investigating and the trail of devastation and carnage in their wake? They go nothing. They got nothing.     That’s an interesting point that I hadn’t thought much about. Did the Russian hoax cause them to lose their minds or did it just make it more obvious? I always assumed the latter, but perhaps there was some kind of hivemind change in the Blue Mob when they became da Mob. I couldn’t really say, but there had to be a kind of potential energy at work.
    In the case of the 17 intelligence agencies, it seems to me that Trump gave us a once in a century opportunity. The combination of the sheer size of the beast, it’s age, and the unfolding surveillance society inevitably leads us to a world where they are the dominant force in government. Maybe some seeds from this whole situation will result in backing off from that precipice, but the game is still on.

    Yes, the Russia/Trump hoax will be long lasting in its effects… but not as devastating to the Democratic Party as the collapse of the Climate Change story.
    After years of knowing from the tippy top of their heads to their toesies that everyone they see as rightwing is against science because of their politics and not a clue that they’re guilty as sin of the same thing.
    It’s how they know they are superior in intellect and judgement. Pro science… like all good Progressives. It was also thus when all the best scientists were behind Eugenics.

    I remember Lara Logan. She was an up and coming journalist, South African, l believe. She was reporting in the streets in Egypt during the Arab Spring. The media narrative at the time was the Arab Spring was the common people rising up for democracy and rights and the Muslim Beotherhood was going to bring reforms. We know better. It was an fanatical Islamic uprising and quite brutal at that. Lara was brutally gang raped while on air, seperated from her camera crew and by raped by the hordes in the Arab Spring streets by those same reform seeing men demonstrating against the government.
    What was odd the MSM and her fellow journalists kept rather mum about Lara. Never rushed to her defense or aired programs airing their outrage or running stories about journalist or her story or courage. Totally opposite of the Khanhoggi story. Lara’s story and facts she reported on were counter to the Leftist MSM’s narrative about the Arab Spring and Obama’s highly regarded Muslim Brotherhood. Narrative comes first. Anyway, she had some interesting things to say.
    “How do you know you’re being lied to? How do you know you’re being manipulated? How do you know there’s something not right with the coverage?” she asked. “When they simplify it all and there’s no gray. There’s no gray. It’s all one way. Well, life isn’t like that. If it doesn’t match real life, it’s probably not — there’s something wrong.”
    Great quote above. You know you are not being told the truth (by the media) when it’s all boiled down to black and white and there is no gray. I flashed on the coverage of the Trump Tower “collusion proof”, Trump “obstructing justice” by firing Comey, Sally Yates waving the Logan Act, hurricane aid to Puerto Rico, and even the shoes Melania was seen wearing boarding a plane to visit those ravaged by Hurricane Harvey. It’s all presented as black and white…like everything the Popinjay brings here. No gray.

    He actually got elected by, and from, the people and really working FOR the people.
    That’s not how it’s supposed to work. “THEY” are supposed to trot out the ones they see fit. Come up through the political ranks.
