So sorry, Todd. Really am. A void that never will be filled. Even last Christmas I was at the post office checking mail and looking for that slip that told me I had a package. No there. I was wondering where my package of socks and a nice card of encouragement with homemade cookies were. Mom died a few years ago. A void that one that lives with. You will see her again and all pain and sadness will be remembered no more.
Unbeknownst to you, I have had a couple chats with your Mom over on Old Tunnel a few years ago. What a wonderful kind woman with a sense of humor and way of saying things. Most refreshing. I could have sat and talked with her for hours. Wish I did. Your sis was there on one visit and both were so proud of you. 89 years. Now she is finally going home. She is home . Hang in there, buddy. When you see her again, there will be no more voids ever again.

Thanks, fellows. BillT thanks for that snippet. Mom was a very friendly person and had so many friends it was just amazing. She would talk to anyone and within an hour they had told her their life story. As I said Pop has been waiting for her for 37 years. Now they are together again.

Jussie Smollett allegedly promised to pay his two pals $4,000 to stage his racist and homophobic assault — which the trio even rehearsed beforehand, according to a new report.
The embattled “Empire” star paid $3,500 to bodybuilding brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo before they left for Nigeria the day of the Jan. 29 attack, and promised another $500 upon their return to the US, sources told CBS Chicago.
The brothers told cops that the alleged attack in Chicago was supposed to happen before Jan. 29 and that they practiced it in the days before it happened.
Smollett, 36, also allegedly paid for the rope, which was purchased from the Crafty Beaver Hardware Store in the Ravenswood neighborhood the weekend of Jan. 25.
Sources said one of the brothers held the rope and poured bleach on Smollett during the 2 a.m. attack, while the other donned a red hat and shouted racist and homophobic slurs at him.

President Trump Tweeted That California Owes The Federal Government Its Money Back. True?
Perhaps, but not yet.
California has received $3.5 billion from the federal government for Central Valley construction work, in two installments: $2.55 billion from the “stimulus” law signed by President Obama that sought to bolster the U.S. economy amid the Great Recession, and $929 million about a year later.
The state has already spent the first chunk but has not yet spent the second.
The money came with three strings attached:
Spend the $2.55 billion in stimulus funds by September 2017. This requirement has been met.
Complete environmental reviews on the full 520 mile San Francisco-to-Anaheim segment known as “Phase 1” by December 31, 2022. The High-Speed Rail Authority says it has “environmentally cleared” the 171-mile stretch from Merced to downtown Bakersfield called for by Newsom and is “progressing on the remaining project sections.”
Complete construction on the 119-mile stretch from Madera to the outskirts of Bakersfield by December 31, 2022. That work is underway.
The second and third requirements originally had December 2018 deadlines. But they were extended to 2022 in an amended funding agreement signed by the Obama administration the day before Trump’s inauguration.
So, assuming the Trump administration is not willing to renegotiate the terms of the funding, the state has less than three years to finish all its environmental reviews and complete the 119 miles of track from Madera to northern Bakersfield.
And Newsom made clear he does not want return the money.
“With all due respect, I have no interest in sending back $3.5 billion in federal funding that was allocated to this project to President Donald Trump,” the governor said in his speech. “That, fundamentally, would have to happen if we just walked away.”

A good swag at the problem, but it’s missing a key definition that I was thinking of… what is a “STEM student”, and what is someone saying when they declare their “son (or daughter) is a STEM student”?
Does it mean they’re getting straight A’s in math and science? Does it mean they plan on majoring in math, science or engineering at a college or university that is selective?
Or, for a high school student taking the same classes as their peers and not having a “major”, is it just a meaningless boast by a confused parent whose self image is sadly dependent upon their child’s status?

Gregory @ 6:26. Been wondering when the rest of you would take notice of what VDH has been saying out loud for some time- the first US coup attempt in now obvious to all. Hansen has been essentially saying this for more than a year, but the only one out there who seems to have fully grasped it has been NRO legal analyst Andrew McCarthy who has skirted the issue almost from the beginning. Now we know how the Trump tower meet was a false flag.
Hope everyone understands that these people need to be punished for their coup attempt if the US justice system is to survive. Maybe not firing squads as would be the case in a left-run country, but substantial real jail terms for the whole mob from Hillary on down, and now, not in the next life. L

It’s a huge big scandal. It is the biggest story ever in our nation’s history. Can’t tell you the countless hours I have poured into document searches, parsing Senate testimony, NYT, CNN, Wa Po stories and timelines, etc. Its all out there. Andrew McCarthy, Mollie Hemingway, Sara Carter, VDH, John Solemn, even Byron York. Add Mark Levin, Buck Sexton, and others. Greg Garrett’s book with 700 footnotes, Dan Begino’s book.
I stopped posting on the topic, mostly.. Got too far ahead of the crowd. The DOJ, CIA, FBI, NSA players did not hatch the plan in a vacumn. The flurry of leaks (plants) to the press in December, 2016 all were coming from the White House. That is why I am focusing. Will take many moons. We just find crumbs left by Hansel and Gretel.
I just have to wait. Peter and Lisa, McCabe, Comey, Baker, Wry, Ohr, Rosenstein, Brennan, Clapper…. all these players have to go through the news cycles to get, but not what I am after. Got a lot of proof, but for a number of reasons to long to explain, just got to wait. White House sources, Ben Rhodes, Susan Rice, and up from there. With the Meuller investigation dragging on, everybody is safe. Cannot get some on record stuff because it might interview with the Meuller probe, lol. And protect Hillary and Obama at all costs. Been looking at John Carlin from day one. The British intelligence direct involvement along fed through our State Department.
Too many laws broken, too many violations everywhere one looks, too many long standing guidelines and protocols trampled upon to even list if I had 80 pages of small print detailing only the statue numbers. US 1001, (b) (d) etc., page after page.
It was an eye opening and game changer experience for me personally when I went to the Union comments and started to engage. Was yapping about Obama’s personal attorney when Obama was SCOTUS who was working for Perkins Coie and Elias working for the Clinton Campaign and DNC funneling (laundering) money through Perkins Coie to finance Fusion GPS to pay Steele to write the Dossier(s)…..well, they never heard of such a thing and demanded I prove it and no way did the Clinton Campaign (or Obama’s personal lawyer also working for Perkins Coie) funnel money to pay for dirt and make up stories on Trump to spread through Executive Branch Departments, etc. That is the point I realized that I might as well try to engage a meaningful dialogue with a box of rocks. The wall of contempt was already up and no use trying to pierce it our local Dems. If I can’t get pass the funding of The Dossier, why bother. Stop sign up.
Don’t get me wrong. I care deeply. Stayed up all night a couple of times researching and cross referencing. Heck, Hillary’s numberous felonies and the Clinton Foundation are huge scandals in and of themselves…but it’s small potatoes. Even mentioning that the Clinton Foundation lawyer submitting bogus false docs and hide and seek for required filings is now working on the Meuller team raises no eyebrows. WTF?
I have said from the start that Meuller’s job is to bury things, not uncover things. His job is to protect others from liability, not seek the truth or even seek justice. Protect the evil deeds and bad actors. And as long as the rapists are guarding the entrance to the battered women’s shelter, all may never come out and most certainly none of the big boys will be held accountable. No consequences. Sure, the planned coup is a story, but the past deeds of the same group during the Obama Administration pales in comparison.
Cause in point: I did not even bother to read this last week. Hundreds like it. Still haven’t read this link.

Todd and Walt, above, I don’t think treason is exactly the right charge since I doubt their motives were to damage or destroy the US- quite the contrary, however misguided their chosen means of helping. Sedition, however fits quite well and would send them to the wall in less benign countries.
Emery, meanwhile, sees nothing of this, nor is he likely to ever comment; much more likely to admit there actually is voter fraud, but only by Republicans. Says it all about PE, no? L

You never complain about “scenes” or “L”, or “Tricky McClean”, and if you really cared about transparency in posting you must be livid at “The Man of a Thousand Sock Puppets” mister Doug Keachie!

It appears PE believes a bunch of unelected deep state elitists from the last administration were merely fulfilling their constitutional duties in attempting (by pseudo-legal means) to overthrow the lawfully elected administration of the United States.
