Punchy, I was able to find it with one search. Think first… Russ quotes the piece… so take a unique sentence or fragment thereof and Google that … with quotemarks.
It would be too easy to just give you the link to the story, or the links to the NPR/Marist poll it contains.

No evidence seen but ran with the story anyway –
One of the BuzzFeed News reporters who broke the report that cited two anonymous sources claiming President Donald Trump directed Michael Cohen to intentionally lie to Congress appeared on CNN’s “New Day” Friday to discuss the bombshell.
Anthony Cormier shared that he had “not personally” seen the evidence to support his reporting, but said his sources had “access to a number of different documents.”

Bye Bye Trade War? China Plans $1 Trillion Buying Spree to Reduce US Trade Deficit

China has extended the olive branch back to the United States by offering a path to eliminate Washington’s burgeoning trade deficit with the country, Bloomberg reported Friday. The news comes less than a day after The Wall Street Journal reported that the Trump administration was considering lifting tariffs amid the ongoing trade war.
China Proposes Six-Year Buying Spree
Citing sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported Friday that China has offered to significantly boost its purchase of U.S. goods over a six-year period in an effort to re-balance trade between the two superpowers. By increasing its annual imports from the United States, Beijing would reduce its trade surplus to zero by 2024. That would require a spending boost of more than $1 trillion.

OOPS: CHINA RAMPS UP COAL, PULLS PLUG ON SOLAR, WIND
China has backtracked on policies implemented to increase solar power, announcing it would not approve any wind and solar power projects unless they can compete with coal power plants strictly on the basis of price.
Under a plan announced in May 2018, the Chinese government had granted large solar power projects a per-kilowatt-hour (kWh) subsidy. The government is cancelling that subsidy for new projects immediately.
In addition to cost considerations, the government said the rapid expansion of wind and solar power had created logjams on the electric power grid, resulting in wasted electricity due to lack of capacity to transmit and distribute the rapidly fluctuating power. In 2017, capacity issues resulted in 12 percent of wind generation and 6 percent of solar electricity generated being wasted.
According to plans announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission, no new solar and wind projects would be approved through the end of 2020. Any projects proposed beginning in 2021 will have to show they can beat the price of coal power and demonstrate the electric power grid can handle their output. The national government will allow local governments to continue to offer their own subsidies for wind and solar projects if they wish, as long as any projects they support meet the second condition. The national government also announced it would no longer provide support for local solar or wind manufacturing facilities.

Mueller’s office disputes Buzzfeed story on Michael Cohen
Reuters 52 minutes ago
WASHINGTON, Jan 18 (Reuters) – U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office issued a statement late on Friday taking issue with a report in Buzzfeed that President Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen said Trump told him to lie to Congress.
“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate,” Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mueller office, said in the statement. @ 6:37 pm
I see it different. First, why did Team Meuller wait until 7:30 pm EST to make the announcement after letting the story run for hours….letting it go from the story breaking in the media tools of the Deep State Race and straight to impeachment???
Because people where starting to call for a leak investigation. A serious felony leak investigation into Meuller’s team. The FBI would go in with a lie detector and ask questions. Not questions concerning only the Buzzfeed article, but questions such as “Have you ever talked to a news organization? Have you ever talked to the press? Did you feed someone information through a third party that talked to any new organization, ever? And they would watch that needle move. Meuller had to stop a leak investigation in its tracks, be it for these leaks or prior leaks. Not good to see members of the Special Counsel team carted away in handcuffs. That’s my take.
If you follow the timeline, Meuller was forced to make the denial statement (a rare occurrence) only after a leak investigation was called for. Coincidence? Otherwise the story would have run all weekend and we would have montages of popinjays spouting the same phrase “rises to the level of impeachable offense.”
Heck, I could, if so inclined, put together a montage of the Mouthpieces of the Deep State all saying the the Impeach word today….before the call for a investigation….any leak prior or recent, lol.

George, in the interest of fairness and balance, I’d like to give a hat tip to Trump and his administration with regard to the announcement of a second summit with N. Korea. Press Secretary Sanders was on point with her tough words coupled with rapprochement.
On the subject of impeachment—as someone who shouted from the rooftops demanding that scumbag Clinton resign so Gore could cement his election in 2000–I would encourage you and your fellow Retardicants to get Trumply and VP Pencil ✏️ to resign so that a solid conservative partisan is poised to take the electoral mantle in 2020.

BrandonB 918pm – had you bothered to check, then you’d have discovered “where an old model of border barrier rises about 12 feet from the sandy ground. The stretched agency only had three agents patrolling that 26-mile-long section of the border.” ABC News. Now let’s see if you can draw some cogent conclusions from this about increasing border security.

Any fence helps. The steel slat is pretty good and easily improved with things like concertina wire. Here, drone surveillance and border patrol mobile units will make things much easier for everyone on both sides of the border. The US border is what brings the cartels to N. Mexico. Close the border and they’re out of business and at war with the Mexican government over who runs that place.
In more serious situations, I’ve seen much less impressive physical barriers that were impervious due to the addition of mines, machine gun posts, etc. In short, the border can easily be protected physically with a “wall”. L

Sounds like a lack of technology rather than the porosity of a wall. It was only 12 feet high and they still decided to go UNDER it! Will a 30 foot barrier dissuade them? How about 60 feet topped with broken glass and barking terriers? Maybe we should be discussing how deep the wall will go rather than how high. Or how thick. Maybe what color?
We can do better than a wall. Satellites can track a speeding vehicle and read the license plate. Most likely they can see the occupants through the windshield and identify them. You tell me we don’t have the technology to observe humans plodding across the desert on foot? The wall is nothing but a symbol. An edifice to Trump and his followers.

Please tell me how you’re going to tunnel under it under drone surveillance, gets to be a long tunnel real fast, and there’s the old mining problem of tailings. Detection is simple using seismology and is easily deterred or destroyed. As noted above, the fence can be adjusted to meet local requirements, as it largely is now.
I live here, 30mi from the border.

Your second paragraph is everyday reality where I live. The border patrol agents are omnipresent in their green and white speeders, very unobtrusive, mostly latin or whatever I’m supposed to call them, swell guys you bump into in dollar stores and hog stands, Nicos… so yeah, there are lots of ways of getting the job done, but cost is important as well. Unless you’re stupid enough to imagine that immigration numbers don’t matter. End rant. L
