[Why would the president's AG nominee William Barr telegraph the preposterous statement that he will tell the Senate judiciary committee that he would unconditionally allow Mueller to finish whatever he's been doing in the attempt to bring down the administration? gjr]

So Todd says he couldn’t find any numbers in the same report that Gregory says he found them. One of you is either lying or one is absolutely incompetent . . . I’ll bet Gregory is correct and the retired gubmint supervisor is too stupid to read a simple spreadsheet.

That’s the numbers that are reported by the County, Park Service and SYRCL Gregory. The report you cite is 9 years old so it’s undoubtly increased from that. What is the FY Report anyway?

“Brandon Branson”, you were either too f’ing lazy to open the report you linked or you did and couldn’t find the number either.
Unrounded, it’s 354,871, page 33. It’s not based on any fees since, at the time, there weren’t any. Not a single dollar was collected by the Park in FY 09/10.

Paul Emry supplied one link and we have all discussed Haffey. No other link has been supplied. But apparently, Paul Emery does not read others responses so unless you want to stop lying you will get no support. SYRCL made up the number, no one has ever kept track and the lie lives on in people like Paul Emery.
Now he wants to change the subject to Trump and heroin. Not biting.

I looked at the latest 2016 and could not locate any numbers. So that tells me you did not look and just copy/pasted the link without researching it. Therefore, you are a moron. And I actually think based on your comments about me and being a Supervisor you must be MA SF of JP. And you are not a registered voter.

Gregory- I didn’t bother to open the report. I just took the 20-30 seconds required to find and reference it to illuminate/illustrate Todd’s ignorance. From looking at hundreds of government reports I knew the information was in there, but also know it’s a waste of time to try to read it on an iPhone.
As a gubmint worker bee on the public dole, it was Todd’s duty to know this material, or at least be able to source it. The fact that he didn’t even know it existed demonstrates his lack of ability to function at even the most basic level for his constituents, and likely accounts for why he was subsequently let go.
I have come to understand that Todd didn’t pass the basic civil service exam around 1979. That’s hard to do. It is actually good news because he might have had a career at DMV.

The numbers that Gregory stated were for the whole Sierra District. The Yuba is a part of that and it includes the Empire and Malakoff. So the number is very small. Brandon just lied about it anddid not bother to verify. Must be a democrat/liberal fake news guy like Paul Emery. Page 33 of the report is page 43 of the pdf. Type Yuba into the find box and you will see what I mean as to the district. The Yuba would be on page 32 and it also includes the Plumas-Eureka Park.
Branson is a troll sock puppet and is a total moron to not even open the report. What a hoot!

Todd- Am I mistaken in saying you didn’t pass the basic civil service exam? These exams test for very root reading and math skills and I know part of it is reading a spreadsheet. Did you fail that part or another part?

“A LOT of journalists need to quickly apologize for their roles in spreading false information in recent days, be it the evidence-free BuzzFeed false report/wild speculation about Trump or leading a misinformed outrage mob against children, or both.” —Mollie Hemingway
“I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats until we can figure out what is going on. They seem to be poisoning young minds.” —Rep. John Yarmuth
[And they would be correct:] The larger message that a lot of people are going to take from this [BuzzFeed] story is that the news media are a bunch of leftist liars who are dying to get the president and that they’re willing to lie to do it.” —CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin
“I think that concerns of anti-Semitism with the current administration and White House are absolutely valid. And we need to make sure that we are protecting the Jewish community and all who feel vulnerable in this moment.” —Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez when asked, “What would you say to some of those people who have concerns about anti-Semitism within the Women’s March?”
“To Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife works at a school that bans LGBTQ: You are wrong. You said you should not discriminate against Christianity. You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian. I am a Christian woman, and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and look yourself in the mirror and you’ll find it right there.” —Lady Gaga

PaulEmery: “…as well as their Wild and Scenic Film Festival in a very slow time of year-mid January make a huge impact on the local economy. Can you list an equivilant organization from the Conservative perspective that makes such an impact?”
I was thinking about that for a minute.
I’m totally cool with the film festival. It brings money to the coffee shops and allows well-meaning people to meet up with their peers. All of the associated “non-profits” get to benefit, and to be fair they probably don’t do any harm. The local evil Rethuglicans, who make up basically the other half of the population, leave them alone and grouse just a little about parking.
On the other hand, imagine the fuss if you had a yearly gun show at the foundry. The usual suspects would place palsied hand on keyboard and write editorials and blogs, Moms Against Nazis would saddle up and protest, much fuss would erupt.
It would be another microcosm of local behavior similar to the parades. The Democratic Party float gets some cheers, the Republican one gets boos from boors. There’s no wonder it’s hard to get town hall meetings with Republican politicians.
As a political movement, liberalism appears to be successful and still growing in California. There’s a mass psychology there that appears to tap into one of the strongest urges in humanity, being an asshole.

Gregory: “A retired California Park Ranger I know quite well told me if I’ve had a margarita in a restaurant in old town San Diego, chances are that was reported as a day use in the park.”
Since they, so far as I know, are knife fighting over a fixed budget, I can’t see any reason for a Park Ranger to be accurate about estimates. Maybe if they all cheat, the proportions end up being about correct.
You can get a scent of the former Soviet Union in that situation.

The fame media is now walking back their criticism of the young man wearing the MAGA hat and being serenaded by the Indian guy. Even Megan McCain walked her comments back. After the release of the long version video, it was apparent the kid did nothing wrong and the Indian dude did the “in your face” BS. Even the local fake news pusher, The FUE had jumped the gun. We will see if he has any integrity and walks it back. The young man and his family are getting death threats. Now isn’t that something the left says on;y the right does?

I have never seen such a glowing endorsement from another “by the book, let the chips fall where they may” man in the know. We need one that seeks justice and truth, not unverifiable hearsay and process convictions. The top echelon of our Justice Department has, over several years, moved from seeking justice to seeking convictions at any costs. Strkerhat. Make that moved from seeking the truth to seeking convictions at all costs. Ted Stevens, Enron, Arthur Anderson’s 35,000 employees, and others come to mind.

They count on it. They don’t need all the facts when they already know the people they want to hate.”

So if the 4th of July and Constitution Day are conservative holidays does that make MLK day a liberal holiday? What about Christmas and Easter? Probably conservative because good moral Christians (who seem to ignore trump’s infidelities) are more religious than liberals. Of course Memorial Day would be conservative because liberals don’t give e a crap about dead soldiers who died fighting for freedom right? That attitude is strictly a conservative domain. Labor Day must be a liberal holiday as it celebrates the contribution of workers rather than owners. And unions are bad because they allow workers to negotiate rather than just take or leave it. Workers rights is definitely a liberal thing. If there was a holiday for rich people it would probably be conservative. We could call it ‘spoiled offspring of billionaires day’ and nothing would be closed because they don’t have to work anyway.
What do you think about Valentines Day, lib or con? Then there is always Groundhog Day, Mothers Day and Fathers Day?

RobertC 1032am – I think you went off the deep end again. My 1203pm did not assign ‘conservative’ or ‘liberal’ to holidays, but merely offered some observations as to which ideology had a greater propensity to celebrate the holidays’ putative purposes. And it didn’t go anywhere near “unions are bad …” etc.
However, your response is illustrative of the wider national divide. You were unable to discuss the point that ToddJ raised and on which I expanded. Instead, you started what has become a constant in attempting to discuss issues with progressives – you immediately put straw man words in the other’s mouth and then denigrate or debate those instead of what was actually said. I wonder, what would it look like, were you to rewrite your comment and really address my 1203pm?
