This is Trump on 2017 at a rally in Ohio at an auto plant:
“Let me tell you folks in Ohio and in this area, don’t sell your house,” Trump said, to applause. “We’re going to get those jobs coming back, and we’re going to fill up those factories or rip them down and build brand-new ones. It’s going to happen.”
On Monday, GM announced the plant would be “unallocated.” If the Lordstown jobs are coming back, it’s not happening soon.”
Another Trump lie.

Huge story. The Repubs in the Senate Intel committee are making referrals for criminal prosecution to Mueller.
“The Senate Intelligence Committee has “made multiple criminal referrals” to special counsel Robert Mueller in the Trump-Russia investigation, reports NBC News.
The report says that Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) disclosed the news on Thursday, but added, “we’re not going to talk about any individuals.”
The Senate committee has been investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 election and that they are now “combing through witness testimony for possible misleading or untruthful statements.”
“The news on the referrals is also sourced to Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) who said the committee “made referrals where appropriate.”
“I am very glad the special counsel is pursuing those who mislead members of congress,” she said.

Another Trump lie.
Well at least that’s a direct statement. You’ve been running this line of Punchy brand nonsense for two years Punch…… he’s still president. He’s almost certainly going to win in 2020. You’ve got the gridlock that you claim to want.
So what’s your problem?

How is it that a green libertarian sees the world so wrong looking at the same information? As the church lady used to say about everything, “is it a sexual problem?” Any I listened to Dershowitz and what he said was easy to understand after he exanded on what Paul Emery presented here. And it was not a blast at Trump.
Regarding the Senate Committee sending over referrals to the DOJ. Maybe that will be as speedy in its resolution as the Senate Judiciary referrals of the Dossier people and the creepy porn lawyer and his client mrs. Spreadeagle.

It’s hard for Jamal Khashoggi to respond to George Rebane’s latest outrageous rant on KVMR, since this gentleman — an American resident and Washington Post columnist — is dead, having been brutally murdered. My hope is that KVMR shows some news judgment rather than its “anything goes” approach to commentary. It has a responsibility to the community to provide both sides of an issue. Meanwhile, here’s “the other side,” obviously missing on the KVMR “News Hour.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/global-opinions/wp/2018/11/20/khashoggis-murder-will-stain-trump-and-america-forever/?utm_term=.7ccb25bbe7ad“

Its all a big nothingburger. Nothing anyone has said or done puts Trump in any legal jeopardy whatsoever. Skimming headlines, Rachael Madcow says Republicans should be be very nervous tonight. Very nervous. Boo, I am scared. None of them fakenews mass hysteria airheads with TDS have got one thing right last week, last month, a year ago, or even two years ago, including the Punch Drunk One. Never right and always wrong.
Meuller looking into the R platform changes about Ukraine? What, you mean therevwas some lobbying going on in politics and political parties???? Wow. Manafort lied! Cohen lied! Yes, Cohen lied on his taxes, he lied on his financial statements, he lied about this and that and some other things….what, is he some pillar of virtuosity that Meuller is to hold up and hang his hat on? Wow.
Citizen Trump was planning to build a hotel or something in Moscow before he threw his hat in the ring and during the campaign. That’s legal. Big deal. Nothing criminal. Wow.
I could go on and one and the only consistent thing is the Fainting Couch fakenews addicted to outrage folks is they have been wrong every single time.
I have been wrong. Said just yesterday or the day before that Meuller’s team ain’t leaking. Glancing the headlines and I was wrong, wrong, wrong. He is leaking like a sieve right now. Wonder why. Hmmm. Maybe I wasn’t wrong two days ago, but not if I said it today. This happens every time the Russian Collusion thing unravels and we see that Emperor Meuller has no clothes and the press races to help him out. Yesterday it was the Guardian piece about Manafort and Julian Assage. The Enemy of the People were wrong again. Haven’t got one thing right.
Somebody lied to Congress. Yeah, Comey lied to Congress, Clapper lied to Congress, Brennan lied big time to Congress, Holder was held in contempt of Congress after he lied about Fast and Furious and refused to appear to face the questions, and that guy who ran the IRS after Lerner plead the 5th and bail lied to Congress as well….and nothing ever happened to them. Wonder why.
Hillary and Cheryl Mills destroyed 33,000 e-mails that were supeoned by Congress and Cheryl Mills did not have the clearance to even read them (a felony for Hillary to even let Mills read them, not to mention destroy them, another violation of several laws, including the Records Act and Esponage Act)….and nothing ever happened to any of them. Wonder why that is. I thought the press was supposed to help us uncover the truth and expose a corrupted Justice Department, Administration, and politicalized (and weaponized) intelligence apparatus. I thought wrong. Way wrong.
So, go ahead and say this time you got Trump by the balls. Go head wish upon a star. Einstein’ s definition of insanity.
Nothing has changed in two years, not one thing. Meuller has never named the crime that was committed when he started and what he is doing now has zero to do with Russia-Trump Collusion or one hint of Trump criminality. No criminality. Sure, knock off some bit players. Roger Stone? Trump dumped him during the campaign.
This entire charade is for Meuller to write a report in such a way so that the Democrat Congress can impeach Trump,…without finding one impeachable or ciminal offense. Meuller knows he cannot even indict a sitting President per the Justice Department’s own rulings, which Meuller has to follow. Bit players? Big deal. Where’s the beef? There is no beef, never was, never will. But, be my guess and knock yourselves out, oh Enemy of the People and aiders and abetters of the real threat to Democracy.
PS: Manafort played Meullet like a fiddle, not the other way around.

Yes, it’s true, there were kids graduating from NUHS and going to a four year college in the dark ages, the issue is how many and how selective? NUHS didn’t push kids forward. The parents in general were happy with their kids getting B’s and getting through with a diploma.
Notice, I didn’t make any claim that college bound kids were happier, better looking or more whatever. It was just a comment about how good the local schools were in doing what schools are supposed to be doing. Not very is the answer, then and now.

Of all he ludicrous things you’re written Biker Gill this takes the cake. Just for a start, who has been in solitary confinement for the past few months and will be indefinably and who is walking free and getting a good paycheck? My goodness, this is so ridiculous I don’t know what else to say. The only hope for Manifort is a pardon which would be political suicide for Trump and even then he would have to face numerous State charges which cannot be pardoned. Manifort played Mueller like a fiddle while standing on the deck of the Titanic with no life raft.

Wat and see Punchy. Wait and see. It wasn’t Manafort’s team that went racing to the Judge with their hair on fire saying Meuller lied, he snookered up yesterday. Many lies! No, it was Meuller’s team that sprinted to the Judge screaming Manafort lied, Manafort lied to us!!! Lol.
It has more than two dots to connect to draw you a picture you can grasp, Popinjay. Did I say anything about a pardon for crimes Manafort committed ten years before he met Trump? Nay, I didn’t. A line from the song The Boxer: “Still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.”
Speaking of pardons..er…meaning you speaking of pardons. Best to think outside the box. BTW, that 175 page Manafort plea agreement…well, my news guy went over that and painstaking explainsed to the listening audience as he read it with it all with the State no pardon clauses about a month ago. Maybe a month ago, maybe 4 1/2 weeks. Figured it was not important enough to even post here. We already knew. Thought it was common knowledge weeks ago. Anyway….

I was gobsmacked at the Obama quote equating “the three-fifths clause” with identity politics.
Let we forget, it was the slavers who wanted black slaves counted as a whole person, and abolitionists that wanted them not to count at all when determining congressional apportionment. Three-fifths was a compromise that enabled a Constitution to be ratified.
Obama said that just this past Tuesday… I found it here

I just googled the quote … I’d have used a generally left wing source, but none of the links were to leftist outlets. And besides, Gutfeld got some good zingers in.

While the president has hailed the election as a “tremendous success” and a “big victory,” Republican governors, who will play a central role in overseeing the GOP’s state-by-state 2020 machinery, are taking stock of the party’s poor performance in the November elections and drawing up plans for major fixes.

Live and learn –
“Ballot harvesting” by Democratic Party operatives — a surprise tactic they likely saved for the general election — appears to have made the difference. The San Francisco Chronicle reported Thursday that Democrats ran a disciplined, door-to-door campaign offering to deliver voters’ ballots to the polls:
Few people noticed when Gov. Jerry Brown signed the changes in AB1921 into law two years ago. In the past, California allowed only relatives or people living in the same household to drop off mail ballots for another voter. The new law allowed anyone, even a paid political campaign worker, to collect and return ballots — “harvesting” them, in political slang.
…
In Orange County alone, where every House seat went Democratic, “the number of Election Day vote-by-mail dropoffs was unprecedented — over 250,000,” Fred Whitaker, chairman of the county Republican Party, said in a note to supporters. “This is a direct result of ballot harvesting allowed under California law for the first time. That directly caused the switch from being ahead on election night to losing two weeks later.”
