When all else fails, resort to infant stage.
Now Huff-n-Puff Farting Post says Trump is an accessory to murder. Or was that an accomplice to murder? Or a co-murderer. Or murderer! Something to do something to do with a Saudi citizen residing in the US visiting Turkey.
Well, time to spit the taste of Progressives out of my mouth. A very glum lot. No rain yet. Bet the supermarkets are crammed. Kosher salt, winter wheat stone ground flour from the Veg Head co-ops, Grandma’s gravy recipe, clean the bathrooms, throw messes in the closet and a lot of hard hard work out of love to make tomorrow a special time with friends and family. So, best to lighten it up.

That’s fine with me, but the quote/reason you gave was 100% misleading.
Here’s the thing. I take work seriously and try to be good at it if someone is paying.
OTOH, anyone who claims to be a news director while at the same time is one of the most partisan people on this board is something of a fraud. It’s downright embarrassing.

Guess the Mexicans are asking the same thing we are asking on this side of the border. Who are these people? Let them in on catch and release without vetting them? Who is going to pay to feed and shelter them and provide for all their needs?
According to the new definitions of “fear”, the entire population of Honduras qualifies for asylum. And entitlements go to the household, not the individual. Got a kid in the house? How many people live there?
The murder rate in Guatemala or Honduras is not any higher than many of our major cities that have run by Democrats for the last half century. Think they won’t face fear in Baltimore or Newark or Detriot or St. Louis or Chicago?
The United States is the greatest and most charitable nation on the planet. There is a legal process to be welcomed in. Legal process.
Looks like Mexico also has a legal process. It’s this damn demanding entitlement mentality that is turning off the Mexicans in Tijuana. . Guatemalans don’t act that way. They weren’t waving flags of their home country after they illegally broke down the barriers and swamped into Southern Mexico. They weren’t burning American flags and chanting “F Trump” as they injured Mexican police on Mexico’s southern border. But, these caravan members do.
Who are these people? Legal is good. Illegal is bad…in Mexico and parts outside CA.
“The Haitians arrived with their papers, with a clear vision,” Gastelum said in an interview, stating they had come to the city “in an orderly way, they never asked us for food or shelter,” Gastelum said the Haitains rented apartments, made their own food, found jobs and “inserted themselves in the city’s economy” having never been involved in any disturbances.
In contrast, Gastelum claims the migrants in the caravan, “had arrived all of sudden, with a lot of people – not all … but a lot – were aggressive and cocky.”

“Aggressive and cocky” is a nice way of putting it. Don’t the dummies know you can attract more bees with honey than vinegar? They need to show more of the attitude of gratitude.

Punchy,
Congress is House and Senate races. Rasmussen says
” The final Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot before Election Day showed it was a neck-and-neck race. It didn’t differentiate between voting for House or Senate candidates.
Was our final generic ballot score reasonable? We believe it was, but we’ll look at all the data in the coming weeks to see if any adjustments to our national likely voters party weighting is appropriate.”
In short, they’ll probably adjust their models for party weighing. There was also an issue with independent voters waiting until the last minute to choose the lesser of two weevils.

Trigger Warning. Contains quote by George W. Bush. Trigger Warnings.
White Liberals talk down to minorities, duh. The soft bigotry of low expectations.
“In other words, Democrats talk down to minorities. Shocker! The researchers followed up with some controlled experiments of their own, and the results were even worse than the pandering liberal politicians:
They designed a series of experiments in which white participants were asked to respond to a hypothetical or presumed-real interaction partner. For half of these participants, their partner was given a stereotypically white name (such as “Emily”); for the other half, their partner was given a stereotypically black name (such as “Lakisha”). Participants were asked to select from a list of words for an email to their partner. . .
The researchers found that liberal individuals were less likely to use words that would make them appear highly competent when the person they were addressing was presumed to be black rather than white. . .
Dupree and Fiske suspect that the behavior stems from a liberal person’s desire to connect with other races. One possible reason for the “competence downshift,” as the authors describe it, is that, regardless of race, people tend to downplay their competence when they want to appear likeable and friendly. But it’s also possible that “this is happening because people are using common stereotypes in an effort to get along,” Dupree says.
Most Whites, particularly socio-political liberals, now endorse racial equality. Archival and experimental research reveals a subtle but reliable ironic consequence: White liberals self-present less competence to minorities than to other Whites—that is, they patronize minorities stereotyped as lower status and less competent. . .
Internal meta-analyses revealed that liberals—but not conservatives—presented less competence to Black interaction partners than to White ones. The simple effect was small but significant across studies, and most reliable for the self-reported measure of conservatism. This possibly unintentional but ultimately patronizing competence-downshift suggests that well-intentioned liberal Whites may draw on low-status/competence stereotypes to affiliate with minorities.
Translation: Conservatives are more likely than liberals to treat minorities as equals. Time to bring back that phrase George W. Bush liked to use about “the soft bigotry of low expectations.”
Over to you, Kirsten Powers.

The U.S. won, Russia lost and Interpol narrowly escaped disaster — that’s the upshot of an unusually high-drama vote for the international police agency’s president, dominated by fears that Russia wants to turn Interpol into a tool to hunt down its enemies.
While rights groups and Kremlin critics celebrated the surprise victory of South Korean candidate Kim Jong Yang over his Russian rival, the vote exposed flaws within Interpol that won’t vanish overnight. Now the pressure is on Kim and Interpol’s day-to-day boss, Secretary-General Juergen Stock, to fix them.
The White House came out publicly against the candidacy of Kim’s Russian rival, Alexander Prokopchuk. After the election, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called Kim “the right man to lead one of the world’s most critical law enforcement bodies in its mission to preserve the rule of law and make the world a safer place.”
For Interpol, the vote staved off possible collapse, after rumblings from some member countries about quitting the agency.

The Dems won the popular vote for the House by 9 Million Votes. Their most since Watergate. Still sticking with your Rasmussen poll as the most accurate one?
“Not since the Watergate scandal have Democrats run up such a large margin of victory in midterm House races, NBC News data showed.
With votes continuing to be tallied more than two weeks after Election Day, Democrats hold a lead over Republicans in the House popular vote by more than 8.6 million votes.”

“The fact that men, myself included, are determining how women may choose to manage their reproductive health is a sad irony not lost on the court,” Reeves wrote. “As a man, who cannot get pregnant or seek an abortion, I can only imagine the anxiety and turmoil a woman might experience when she decides whether to terminate her pregnancy through an abortion. Respecting her autonomy demands that this statute be enjoined.”

The winner of this vote was decided by a fair and open election conducted on the White House website. This was a fair election. President Donald Trump has given Defense Secretary Jim Mattis the authority to allow troops at the Southwest border to perform “military protective activities” he deems necessary to protect troops and border patrol agents, according to a White House memo viewed by Breitbart News.

The second shoe drops –
According to DHS memos obtained by The Washington Post on Wednesday, Central American asylum seekers who cannot establish a “reasonable fear” of persecution in Mexico will not be allowed to enter the United States and would be turned around at the border.
The new rules will take effect as soon as Friday, according to two DHS officials familiar with the plans.
Last week, BuzzFeed News reported that U.S. and Mexican officials were discussing such a plan.
Mexico also appears to be taking a less-permissive attitude toward the new migrant caravans now entering the country.
Authorities detained more than 200 people, or nearly all of the latest caravan, who recently crossed Mexico’s southern border on their way to the United States. This is at least the fourth large group of migrants to cross into Mexico and attempt to walk to the U.S. border. They were picked up not long after crossing. The vast majority of the migrants were from El Salvador, according to Mexico’s National Immigration Institute.

“in California 500,000 people called for jury duty last year said they were not citizens. Guess where they get the names for this duty? VOTER ROLLS.”
Todd, get your head out of your colon. Drivers licenses and State issued ID cards are where jurors are primarily selected from. Voter lists and tax rolls are last resort.

Professor Valentina Zharkova Confirms “Super” Grand Solar Minimum
Professor Valentina Zharkova gave a presentation of her Climate and the Solar Magnetic Field hypothesis at the Global Warming Policy Foundation in October, 2018.
Zharkova was one of the few that correctly predicted solar cycle 24 would be weaker than cycle 23 — only 2 out of 150 models predicted this.
Her models have run at a 93% accuracy and her findings suggest a Super Grand Solar Minimum is on the cards beginning 2020 and running for 350-400 years.
The last time we had a little ice age only two magnetic fields of the sun went out of phase.
This time, all four magnetic fields are going out of phase.
Here is the Professors presentation: https://youtu.be/M_yqIj38UmY
Conclusions slides are posted here:

Oh yeh, I remember. Obama at his pressers would take up to 20 minutes answering a question and going on and on as well as going off on other topics til the time ran out. If a journalist interrupted Obama, that person was shamed, derided, and scorned by his/her fellow journalists. Guess Acosta is just a sign of the times, showcasing the bad behavior from the Leftinistas as new normal.

They don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Mexico nor do they celebrate Cindo de Mayo in France.
Tijuana: The caravan members in Tijuana who face deportation back to their countries of origin were arrested for meth possession, cocaine possession, smoking dope, and fighting with the police, as well as breaking other laws. No wonder they were so jacked up. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. It a not good idea to shit where you eat, especially if your host is feeding you and you are in his casa.
