[It's clear that our liberal readers have a wildly different conception of 'witch hunt' than the rest of us. The WH effort to discover the self-declared anonymous leaker and resister who wrote the NYT op-ed is an existential and legitimate target of an internal investigation to ferret out someone who promises to make shambles of presidential executive privilege. There is nothing here to compare with what Mueller is doing in his investigation of Trump which is based on allegations and no evidence of 'Russian collusion' after an 18+ month probe into the affairs of Team Trump. There was no culpable evidence to launch the investigation, and its interminable continuation is also based on nothing but the hope of perhaps finding something in future. Now that is a witch hunt. gjr]

It is kinda funny that the Inauguration chopped photos whinning comes back just as the cropped videos of Kamala Harris and PP distorting the footage of Kavanaugh answering a question. Now, that’s not no exaggeration, that’s a big fat lie. Well, Trump did it too!

It was a really nice event Don as it always is. There were the marching Presidents and their wives, a unique event, and the honoring of Howard Levine with the Bill Lambert Award for community service, Choir from Nevada Union with patriotic songs starting the parade and a lovely version of the National anthem. Weather was nice, not too hot.

Walt, I don’t think this will hurt Nike’s bottomline. Oh, it may hurt the NFL a tiny bit, but we don’t buy $180.00 sneakers to be cool. No, they are after the young market. But, interest in high school football is down nationally, so that may be some hand writing on the Wall longer term.
The kneeling issue still has not been resolved. Officially, that is. It’s kinda petering out. Professional Football is known for its holdouts. Don’t t they have an anti-trust exemption? Collusion! Collusion! Nike don’t care about some little college or berg somewhere. They supply a whole lot of teams, from college to pros to amateur leagues, not to mention their clothing line.
