re PaulE’s 1055am – I must be missing something. What more can that statement of executive process mean than simply what it says? If you understand it as such and nothing more, what more is there then to extract?
Now if someone wants to debate whether such a process should be legal for our chief executive, then that is another matter.

Is it your view that there is a problem with Todd being pretty much a genetic Republican and never varies from the party line?

Paul Emery really is not that bright when it comes to our Constitution and its laws. There is nothing in it to allow a “special counsel” with powers greater than the President. And the President has the power to fire that consel and any other Execitve employee. But Paul Emery does not understand that at all. Sad.
Regarding Cohen. He has nothing and all that is happening to him is of his own design. Perhaps he took money from a client and did not produce? But Trump is just fine and the polls are showing it is so.

We do different math Gregory. I look at the comparative difference and that is an 8% change. You can call it whatever you like but mine is the accepted analysis of polling.

“… but mine is the accepted analysis of polling.”
No, it isn’t Paul. Rasmussen reports it at 46% favorable, not -8%.
Minus 8% could be 24% favorable, 32% unfavorable and 44% having no clue, and the reason you hyperventilate is that your chosen way to get excited is over a number jumping twice as much as the underlying reality.
Hmmm, going back over your past hyperventilations and summing them up, Trump shouold be at -524% by now.

And… what was Trump elected with… a 46% popular vote.
There you go again… Paul! Breathe! Breathe!

Sure Todd, Trumps polls are swell Trump down by 7 in your favorite poll. Down by 8.5 in consensus. What a hoot.
Actually Rasmussens themselves say this:
“The latest figures include 33% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11.”

Rasmussen themselves use my math. Example from above and a direct quote from Rasmussen:
“The latest figures include 33% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11.”

More news from the America Haters. We are all Socialists now.
A registered Democrat and Bernie Sanders supporter protesting a right-wing rally in Oregon earlier this month says he was viciously beaten by militant members of his own movement because he possessed a “fascist symbol” — an American flag.

The first paragraph lays out the Rasmussen style guide:
“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-one percent (53%) disapprove.”
Simple.

Paul, the approval index used by Rasmussen is a measure of excitement… the difference between strong support and strong disfavor.
Without a doubt, the haters on the left win that one. Personally, I generally dither between no opinion to mild approval.

No surprise here –
But even with these gun controls, nearly half the guns identified by the ATF were bought in Maryland.
The ATF also discovered “an average age of 38 for those in possession of the firearms” and they noted that “the firearms were bought an average of 12 years before the crime or reason for the trace.”
The Daily Wire reports that only 15 percent of the guns traced by the ATF originated in Virginia and seven percent originated in Pennsylvania.

Not that today’s lefty legal Viagra is anything of particular import but within the following paragraph is the line of the day vis a vis Sheriff Muller….
This obviously is not the set of crimes that special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed to pursue. As noted by the openly skeptical trial judge in this case, Mueller clearly was pursuing President Trump and not these particular crimes. The question now is whether these convictions will further concentrate Manafort on flipping against Trump. If not, Mueller could be left looking like the guy who showed up at a bass fishing competition with a trophy deer head: It may be an impressive eight-count buck of a defendant, but still is not the game he was supposed to catch.

Someone didn’t think this one through –
“The restaurant I used to work at is closing its doors. I swung by today to say hi one last time and kid around with friends like old times,” she said on Monday. “I’m a normal, working person who chose to run for office, because I believe we can have a better future. You can do it too. We all can.”
Her former employers announced the closure of the eatery in July, blaming in part the policies that Ocasio-Cortez has campaigned on. The Coffee Shop co-owner and president Charles Milite told the New York Post that escalating rents as well as New York’s minimum-wage hikes were to blame for shuttering the company, which employed 150 workers.
