[Ideology – n. A structured and communicable belief system that in its best expression is composed of tenets defendable by and malleable to reason. Ideologue – a person who is willing to communicate his ideology. A more dubious definition of an ideologue is “a person who zealously advocates an ideology”. The adverb 'zealously' denotes doing something in an "ardent, devoted, or diligent manner". Hence, I confess again that I am an ideologue. But then what does one call a person who advocates an ideology in a non-zealous manner? gjr]

Nah, just go up and rifle through his house and throw all the dishes on the floor, open all the drawers and empty them out of the floor, strip the bedding and put them in the bathroom, carefully not to break anything or take one item. Not a thing missing. Nothing stolen but peace of mind. Each time M goes to the store, in the back of his mind he will be wondering if the pranksters are at his place right now.. Is he being watched? Will the jokers come back in the dead of night? Will they feed his dogs a meatball filled with fiberglass next time? Nah, nothing taken but piece of mind. Just those rambuckus youth. Things like that happen when school is out. Nothing to see here. Yawn.

Fascism is a form of government which is a type of one-party dictatorship. Fascists are against democracy. They work for a totalitarian one-party state. … Such a state is led by a strong leader—such as a dictator and a martial government.
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
1.”Everything in the state”. The Government is supreme and the country is all-encompasing, and all within it must conform to the ruling body, often a dictator.
2.”Nothing outside the state”. The country must grow and the implied goal of any fascist nation is to rule the world, and have every human submit to the government.
3.”Nothing against the state”. Any type of questioning the government is not to be tolerated. If you do not see things our way, you are wrong. If you do not agree with the government, you cannot be allowed to live and taint the minds of the rest of the good citizens.
The use of militarism was implied only as a means to accomplish one of the three above principles, mainly to keep the people and rest of the world in line.
it is distinguishable from other forms of totalitarianism in its exultation of war and violence as a means of envigorating the state and the people. Its focus on nationalism means fascism may vary in detail from country to country, but always it brings war – against others and against the individual.
Socialism is an economic theory of social organization that believes that the means of making, moving, and trading wealth should be owned or controlled by the community as a whole rather than by wealthy individuals.

One thing that the internet has made me grow tired of is these guys that cut ‘n paste some simplistic overview of thing, usually written by someone with a strong preconception, and then nod wisely like they made some point.
In the case of fascism, hey, it’s a complicated thing, had it’s own thinkers, and evolved over time. It’s like attempting to understand Russian communist and Soviet history, there’s a helluva lot to it and it’s hard to do the whole situation justice.
Of course, those boring ‘fascist’ rants, almost always copied from elsewhere, are merely to paint an enemy with a broad brush. I might as well do the short version Hitler -> fascist -> Trump, even though none of the arrows are true.
In the final analysis, it’s all about Hitler. In a sense, he is the founding father of the modern Left .

RobertC 146pm – I was more interested in the epoch of attendance because the focus of the curriculum and the competence of the teaching staffs changed markedly – mostly in K-12, but also a bit later in college level non-STEM courses. If you’ve kept up with the NCES (Dept of Education) reports or read these pages, then you know what I’m talking about. And yes, my formal education is all from public schools, but all the non-STEM stuff was before the Great Society kicked in – different times, different schools.

Meanwhile across the Pond, they are just trying to make a better life for their families by looting the plunder of Western Civilization.
“Sixteen migrants and ten officers from Spain’s Guardia Civil received hospital treatment following Thursday morning’s incident, during which the group bombarded agents with quicklime, sticks, stones and bags of excrement as well as aerosols used as flame throwers, the force said in a statement.
“The incursion, which comes days after Spain officially overtook Italy in migrant arrivals by sea, occurred at around 6.30 am when the men used angle grinders and shears to cut through the outer and inner layers of the border fence.
“The group also bore defensive equipment such as home-made shields and body armour, the Guardia Civil said, and once through the fence continued to attack agents and security vehicles. The force later recovered “Molotov cocktails and bags of hashish”, it added.
The group scrambled over the razor wire fences “all of a sudden, with much violence”, a Guardia Civil spokesperson in Ceuta said.
“But there is increasing concern that Spain simply cannot cope with the numbers of arrivals. NGOs say the country’s asylum system is collapsed, with thousands already waiting for spaces, and that more resources are desperately needed. In Andalusia, where the Spanish coastguard has rescued more than 1200 people from rafts since Monday, authorities are raising the alarm over the pressure on infrastructure,……..”

Warning: from Russia Today. Might influence your vote.
“Back in June, newly appointed Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska announced his desire to remove the fence. “I’m going to do everything possible to see that these razor wire fences at Ceuta and Melilla are removed,” he said.
Responding to the Thursday incident in Ceuta, the Guardia Civil’s AEGC union called upon the Spanish authorities to clarify its “plan B” to maintain security if the wire was removed.
“We’re one of the main entry points from the third world into Europe and none of those in charge at the interior ministry have wanted to see or resolve the problems this is causing,” it said.

Don.. “Warren Buffett likes to say, if he pays as much as his secretary paid, 15 percent tax rate, if corporations paid — if we reverse the tax bill, raised our corporate tax rate to 28 percent … if we do those two things and also close some of those loopholes, that’s $2 trillion right there.”
She forget that the corp. tax was even HIGHER!?
Those same outfits would just tack on the tax to what we buy.
Then you have nut case Izzy Warren.
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/23/sen-elizabeth-warren-wants-to-roll-back-the-gop-tax-cuts.html
Get a load of this.
Q: If Democrats take the Congress, if you’re in the White House, or both, would you like to see these corporate tax cuts repealed?
A: Yeah, I really want to see them rolled back.
Q: Back to 35 percent?
A: Well, it’s not about the number. Here’s how I look at budgets and taxes are at the heart of this. A lot of people think they’re just numbers; they’re not. They are the expression of our values. The values of the Republican Party that passed those tax cuts are to give $1.5 trillion away to the richest Americans and the biggest corporations, and let everybody else pick up the crumbs.
I think the right way to think about this is that we need a budget, we need a tax bill that works for all of us. So what I’d like to see is I’d like to see us strengthen America’s middle class.
Q: What’s too high for the top personal rate?
A: It’s not about a number. That’s what negotiations are all about.
Q: Is 50 percent obviously too high?
A: That’s why you sit down and you negotiate over the numbers.
Q: When George W. Bush was president, his team articulated the view that it was a matter of right and wrong that you shouldn’t have more than a third of your income taken. Do you feel similarly that it’s wrong for more than half of somebody’s marginal income to be taken?
A: Look, there was a time in a very prosperous America — an America that was growing a middle class, an America in which working families were doing better generation after generation after generation — where the top marginal rate was well above 50 percent.
Q: Ninety percent.
A: That’s exactly right. But for me, the heart of the question is that you’ve got to ask, “What constitutes a fair share in this economy?” It depends in part on what the economy is.
Q: It doesn’t strike you as obviously, “no, 90 percent, that’s ridiculous. Can’t be that”?
A: Ninety percent, yes; 90 percent sounds pretty shockingly high. But what I’m trying to get at is this is not about negotiating over specific numbers. It’s not about negotiating before you go into the negotiations.
She really wants to go back in tax time.
Just tax the shit out of everyone.

Oh boy, they are going to take away his team 0 decoder ring –
The U.S. economy’s 4.1 percent growth rate in the second quarter hit economist expectations on the head–but the underlying data suggest the economy may be even stronger than the headline.
Economists often look to a figure known as “final sales to private domestic purchasers” for a view of how the private sector is doing. That number strips out volatile inventories data, trade, and government spending. It rose 4.3 percent in the second quarter, up from 2 percent in the first quarter.

And Liberals want to return to high unemployment and higher taxes.
All in the name of control, and power.(and pocket lining)
What you won’t hear, is the fact that Trump’s cutting of regulations, has plenty to do with the economy returning.
Things are REAL good. We can’t find people to hire. (Granted, labor work ain’t for everyone.)
I suggested poaching the homeless camps. (Boss tried that already)
Seems plenty don’t want to work either.

Will antifa and the pink knit hats target her concerts? I know one local politician who wont be buying any albums.
Hedlund says there were enough to send “every police officer, firefighter and extended family to the concert, and then some.” The extras were passed on to other nearby police departments.
Hedlund thanked Swift for the gesture on behalf of the town.

How low can they go? There are a lot of questions the Senate will ask the SCOTUS nominee, but Mrs. Kavanaugh‘s work e-mails are not any of them. Guns, gays, and abortion.
NEW YORK TIMES TARGETS KAVANAUGH’S WIFE
“I wouldn’t have thought my opinion of the New York Times could get any lower, but it just did. NTK Network reports that the Times, as well as the Associated Press, has requested emails sent or received by Ashley Kavanaugh in her capacity as town manager of Chevy Chase, Maryland:”

Me thinks we have not fully appreciated the implications of the recent 9th Circuit panel ruling on conceal carry. Not having guns in your home, but the right to bear arms…bear arms in public.
“We do not take lightly the problem of gun violence, which the State of Hawaii ‘has understandably sought to fight,’” Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain wrote. “But, for better or for worse, the Second Amendment does protect a right to carry a firearm in public for self-defense.”
If the ruling stands, it could lead to more guns in public in the few western states under 9th Circuit jurisdiction where they are currently restricted.
“States like Hawaii and California will have to allow far more guns on the streets than they do today,” said Adam Winkler, a law professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. “States would be able to ban concealed carry but only if they allow people to carry their guns openly displayed.”

Now, here is Hawaii’s pickle. Do they take the case to the full 9th Circuit and run the risk for having it work it’s way up to SCOTUS where another Justice will be seated this fall….Opps. Maybe not the wisest thing to do. Hawaii has a decision to make.
All I know is this explains Little Piget freaking out a few days ago. And I thought it was due to Helsinki. Silly me. The other thing I know is Hawaii County has not issued a concealed carry permit in 20 years.
