Walt at 6:27 – I remember talking to a young intern at work years ago. He was all fired up about his economics class. Wow!, I thought. Great! Learning econ is good. After a few minutes of hearing about the class it became apparent that all they were learning about econ was the GINI coefficient and how unjust wealth distribution was. Nothing about the law of supply and demand or the purpose of money in the free market. No – just how bad the white male devils were in the world. That OC babe is just one more un-educated idiot that thinks she actually has knowledge and is out repeating buzz words and bumper sticker slogans to get elected. No wonder the other Dems are telling her to cool it. There are lots of others like her out there. And millions more coming across the border every year. Hey, Fascist California Supreme Court tosses people’s initiative on dividing the state into three pieces. There is a Constitutional method to follow here in California. This Prop 9 measure was simply advisory. Why the Supremes would toss it is just another overreach and disrespect for the voters of the state. I was not in support of the way the state was chopped up for this but why it cannot be placed on the ballot is beyond me. What are the SWAMP dwelling Supremes afraid of? I say place it on the ballot. It was legally done and the signatures legally gathered. Supremes get out of the way and leave the people alone. PLEASE.

Miller is not on the City Council which has jurisdiction over that new bank. Keoni Allen did not donate the money anyway, it was the NCCA. And the Board of Directors of the new bank has many local business people on it. A real plus for the community.
