It’s my personal prediction of what will likely happen in the near future. I’ll repeat my soothsaying screed.
After the election with Hillary easily winning and the Dems likely taking the Senate the parting out of thje Republican party will begin. Trump will hold court over his loyalists and split the party and become a Folk Hero of the right much like Tim Robbins in the 1994 film Bob Roberts about the Conservative folksinger who ran for Senate of Pennyslvania .
That’s how I see it.

Paul Emery, I don’t bet on things as weird as presidential elections, but if I did, I’d insist on odds at least as good as i’d get from a bookie.

BillT: “And if not, there is always Plan B…those russian Bastards.”
My own guess is that Putin had little to do with Trump. After all, everyone expected him to lose.
But I can very much smell Russian intelligence operations behind The Resistance. I mean, seriously, if they didn’t take advantage of that they’re fools. Even with the flip-over from Communism to Mafia-based government, I expect that the long-held ties with the US Left were at least partly still in place. Plus, firing up the useful idiots has an incredible ROI.
While it’s all a little dangerous, it’s absolutely hilarious to watch.

“As I testified before the House Intelligence Committee under oath, my 24 word exchange with someone on Twitter claiming to be Guccifer 2.0 is benign based on its content, context and timing,” Stone said when reached by ABC News late Friday. “This exchange is entirely public and provides no evidence of collaboration or collusion with Guccifer 2.0 or anyone else in the alleged hacking of the DNC emails, as well as taking place many weeks after the events described in today’s indictment,” he said.”

“Sixteen thousand Facebook users said that they planned to attend a Trump protest on Nov. 12, 2016, organized by the Facebook page for BlackMattersUS, a Russian-linked group that sought to capitalize on racial tensions between black and white Americans. The event was shared with 61,000 users.
As many as 5,000 to 10,000 protesters actually convened at Manhattan’s Union Square. They then marched to Trump Tower, according to media reports at the time.
The BlackMattersUS-organized rally took advantage of outrage among groups on the left following President Trump’s victory on Nov. 8 to galvanize support for its event. The group’s protest was the fourth consecutive anti-Trump rally in New York following election night, and one of many across the country.
“Join us in the streets! Stop Trump and his bigoted agenda!” reads the Facebook event page for the rally. “Divided is the reason we just fell. We must unite despite our differences to stop HATE from ruling the land.”
While the focus has been on Russian efforts ahead of the election, the BlackMatters rally days after Trump’s victory shows that Russian-linked social media influence efforts continued after the election.

Burr, the committee’s chairman, unveiled the ads at a hearing Wednesday morning and said Russians managed to pit Texans against each other for the bargain price of $200.”
And who could forget those spontaneous Muslim ban protests at airports across the USA that snarled traffic and will lead to new designs for future airports. 🙂

Trump is stirring up Europe and generating the same loony bins he does here in America. The world seems to be full of these lefty goofballs. I have yet to see any protests of the true villains on the planet. You know, the commies and socialist and dictators. Why is that? They know they won’t be shot or hosed or have the dogs sikked on them by a true democrat government. Though England has now abandoned “free speech and press” they still allow crazies to congregate and protest our President. So I say to those gathered in London and now Scotland, F**k You! Go ahead and import millions from the third world and allow your once great country to become a pit of crap. And you did it yourselves. Just like the democrats are trying to do to America. Punchy, we have been trying to get Edward Snowden, a resident of Moscow, back to the good ole USA for years. Are you really that stupid or just play dumb to act like a true leftist?
Ok, Punchy, for the sake of agrument let’s say Russia (or Putin) did all the bad stuff you endlessly repeated they did to interfere in the 2016 election. Strike that. You never have laid out exactly what the Russians did to influence the US Presidential Election in 2016 except to hack e-mails, none of which were written by the candidate herself, HIllary Clinton. Ok, say we are in agreement to this point.
The flaw in your agrument (which has been repeated by you multiple times) is that the flippers will spill the beans on Trump colliding with the Russians and the Russians likewise colluding with Team Trump. A whole bunch of colluding going on. Colluding here, colluding there, colluding everywhere.
That is the flaw (so far) in your agrument. You are connecting dots from Russians hacked and stole the election to Collusion with Team Trump.
“The next wave from Mueller will use the testimony of the plea bargoners and soon to be flippers to tie the Trumers to the Russians directly”
That is a stretch too far as all the indicated have nothing to do with colluding. Michael Flynn, George The Young Greek Pop, Manafort, Cohen, and even the Russians who used Facebook were not tied to colluding with the President of these here United States. Heck, the fakenews even tried to tie Stormy and Cohen to Russia at one point, lol.
It’s way too much of a stretch to connect the dots to where you are hoping they will lead. As the old saying goes, ‘“You can’t get there from here.” I remain always open to new information…..credible new information, that is. Not more recycled unverified or unsubstantiated claims, but always open to real new information.
As a starting point of agreement, let’s begin here:
According to the DNC, the Russians broke into their servers in April 2016. After more than 800 days (longer than the entire Nixon-Watergate ordeal) Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his law enforcement team have yet to examine the scene of this crime (the DNC server). Nor has Mueller interviewed Julian Assange, the first person known to be in possession of the emails taken from the DNC server.
Not only has the FBI failed to examine the scene of the crime, it likely never will in any meaningful way. As illustrated below, the cyber security firm the DNC and Clinton used to investigate the 2016 data breach may have hopelessly tainted the evidence before law enforcement could verify its claims of Russian hacking.

FYI…
The FUE has a graphic he filched from a news site, showing how right-wing Kavanaugh is.
Following links to Axios and on to the primary sources they used to rank Kavanaugh led me to an interesting factoid. Remember how Garland was promoted as a “moderate” that any GOP elected official should be happy to have as one of the Supremes?
Turns out Garland was solid left, beyond Kagan, beyond Breyer, halfway to Ginsberg and the “wise latina” Sotomayor.
http://epstein.wustl.edu/research/PossibleNominees.pdf
Hillary promised that, as President, she’d not nominate Garland but someone to the left of Garland… the country dodged a bullet with that one.
Kavanaugh is no Gorsuch, but any jurist who starts with the text of the Constitution or other law or regulation, and goes from there is better than someone who thinks they should start with thinking about what a just outcome would be and pick and choose from the constitutions of the US and other countries to backfill an opinion. Do we have a “Living Constitution”? No, we again have a dead Constitution solidly in rigor mortis, with a reanimation every generation or so in accordance with the agreed upon rules for Amendments.

This is a NEW policy?
New guidelines implemented last week by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services say that immigrants who abuse “any program related to the reception of public benefits” will be summoned to appear before an immigration court.
Immigrants will be subjected to removal procedures if there’s evidence of “fraud or willful misrepresentation” in connection “with any official matter or application before another governmental agency,” said the guidelines, published late last month.
In those cases, immigration officials will have expanded authority to issue Notices to Appear (NTA), documents that mark the start of deportation procedures.
